Hotel Demaj

We stayed at Hotel Demaj in Berat for two nights and were very pleased with our accomodations. While the hotel is older, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well suited for a stay in this beautiful historic town. The location is excellent, with the castle and old town easy walking distance. There are also plenty of good restaurants and bars right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring Berat and enjoying the local atmosphere. The staff were wonderful - friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, with eggs, cheese pie, croissants, jams, juice, cucumbers, tomatoes and feta cheese all served to you.

My only very minor mention if you are a light sleeper you do hear some car and motor bikes moving along the road.

The room was very spacious, as well as the terrace. It was really well isolated and the terrace was really quiet, although its on the side of the road. Luckily the hotel is just outside the main old city area, so its much quieter and easy to park. Yet walking distance to the old city and restaurants. Breakfast was really nice! Also, really nice owners, the whole family really. I asked for some tea and got the whole kettle and some teabags for my stay.

The matresses were a little old, and could use an update

Buonissima la posizione e la disponibilità di parcheggi di fianco la struttura: si raggiunge il centro con una bella camminata lungo fiume. Accoglienza ottima, abbiamo trovato la camera già fresca e bellissimo affaccio sul fiume di Berat. Affascinante la struttura che è costruita sulla roccia ed ha un piccolo giardino a terrazze. Buonissima la tipica colazione e staff gentilissimo.
