I have only great things to say about our stay at this property. The bedrooms, outdoor area and location of the property were even better than advertised. Langosta beach was awesome and the house is almost perfectly located. The concierge (Jonathan) was incredibly helpful during the lead up to our arrival and the chef prepared some great meals! Would highly recommend staying here

We had 13 adults for the week for a mission trip+vacation and the property was amazing. Jonathan, the house manager was incredible and helped us with everything we needed to include golf carts and other beach needs. Lorena was also more than amazing. We planned to have her cook for us for 2 noghts but the food was so fantastic we booked two more nights. She cleaned each day and was the kindest and most helpful person in town. We will definitely return to Casa Paquita!!!

The property was everything, plus more, than we expected. So much room and everyone was very attentive to our needs. Golf cart available, and when it didn't work, they stepped in and drove us to and from the wedding location. Lorena cooked breakfast each morning and dinner one night which we could not have gotten better food or service anywhere in the country. We were a group of 14 staying to attend a wedding just down the road. We would definitely return to this specific location.

Casa Paquita was perfect for our family of 10 (six adults and four kids, five years and younger.) Our vacation was seamless. The location was quiet and we felt safe.
Daniel and Jonathan went beyond the call of duty to respond to our needs and requests from beginning to end.We also had a full fridge of groceries snacks and imperial beer waiting for us when we arrived. One of our grandkids celebrated his third birthday, and there were balloons when we arrived.
The infinity pool was a big hit with the kids, and especially with the inflatable toys that were supplied. Lorena and the housekeeping staff supplied us daily with clean towels for showers and for the pool & beach . Lorena also prepared and made most of our breakfast and delicious dinners.
The beach was ours for play ,walks and amazing sunsets .Kudos to the entire team. We highly recommend Casa Paquita .

We spent an incredible week at Casa Paquita with family over Thanksgiving week! Daniel our host was a great asset and was always available to help us with transportation and tours. Lorena who ran the house prepared many meals, both breakfast and dinner, and she was one fabulous cook! She taught us all how to make her guacamole which she prepared every night for us. The house could not be a more perfect location and the golf carts were perfect to run around town in. Gorgeous sunsets too!

House manager (Jonathan( was excellent. Had breakfast provided every morning (for small additional fee). Chefs were excellent. Jonathan also helped us with golf carts, airport pickup and had our fridge stocked. Great service and location. 7 bedrooms.

We would give it 10 stars if possible!! Our vacation was for a family reunion, we had 14 people - 7 adults and 7 "kids" ages 15 thru 21. The home was perfect, enough space for everyone at all times, we never felt crowded and even the dining table was large enough for all 14 at every meal. Every bedroom was nice size and very comfortable!! The bedroom with the bunk beds also now has a king size bed which was perfect.
Lorena and Jonathon were wonderful throughout the entire week. We had Lorena cook most dinners and handful of breakfasts, highly recommend!! Her meals were absolutely delicious and having such a large group it was much more relaxing than going out. She also helped with laundry (especially the towels!!) and kepts the house so clean....She was truly a delight! Jonathon was also so kind and attentive to any issue or question we had throughout the week.
The location is beautiful - view of the ocean, beachfront, and lush greens. It is about a mile into town which wasn't too bad of a walk. They have golf carts to rent which would be easier - but we had so many people and we didn't mind the walk (humidity was high when we visited so we got used to sweating). There is a very good restaurant right at the end of the street which is convenient and we had dinner and breakfast there, both very good.
We starting planning our next trip back to Costa Rica already and cannot imagine staying anywhere else!!!

The house is perfect for a family stay. The grandparents stayed in the first floor bedroom while the kids and grandkids had the 2nd floor. The view to the west and the beach was wonderful. The pool provides a relaxing place to cool off and play. The woman who prepared some of our evening meals did a fabulous job. Tasty, well prepared food, plenty for all. Location related to Tamarindo is perfect. All that is needed is golf carts to get anywhere within the town. Overall, a quiet, secure location to relax and only do what you want to.

This is a fantastic property! I cannot say enough good things about our experience, it was wonderful. We were a family with 7 adults and 2 children (11 years and 7 years).
Lorena is amazing (housekeeper and cook). She cooked several meals for us and is very sweet. The food was delicious and we always had left overs. She speaks only Spanish but uses Google translate if there is a language barrier.
We had a Spa Day at Los Altos De Eros while the guys went fishing with Maryola. I recommend both those things.
Our transportation and tours were booked through TPV Costa Rica. They are easy to communicate with and have a lot of tour options.
We also did a catamaran tour through Manta Ray Sailing. This is a MUST DO! By far our favorite part. They have transportation options for pick up at extra costs but we used TPV for transportation.
Definitely recommend renting a golf cart, there are a few walkable restaurants and shops but going “into town” is much easier with these.
Bring bug spray! We went in wet season and there are definitely mosquitos and other insects.
The water pressure in the house is slow, I believe this is pretty typical of Costa Rica but it took some adjusting to coming from the states.
The last night we saw about 10-15 monkeys in the trees above the pool, it was the best way to end the trip!

The house was perfect! The living area was very spacious with lots of areas for dining. We had a wonderful dinner cooked by our chef!! We loved the location of the house with a short walk to the beach, and loved the infinity pool.

Daniel went above and beyond helping us with this rental and answering so many questions during the planning of this trip. He was super helpful and responsive.
The Casa Paquita was perfect for our family of 12. Golf cart rentals were perfect for getting where we wanted to go.
Lorena kept the place clean and always made sure we had clean towels for baths, pool and beach. She prepared and served two brunches and a dinner for us. All were. Delicious!!!!

As a long time VRBO user, I rely heavily on reviews. I hope I can do this one justice.
We had an AMAZING trip. This is the most relaxing vacation I have been on in years. From pick up at the airport, to restaurant reservations, to a few select activities, Daniel helped us arrange everything that we needed or wanted to do. There was zero hassle and ZERO stress.
The house was huge and with only seven adults we had more than enough space. The staff kept the house fresh every day. The AC units are very quiet and effective. The Sonos system was great for music throughout the house and on the patio. The pool and beach access are very bit as good as the photos…well better actually, because it’s real! A large family of monkeys decided to come to the beach on Sunday and hung out in the trees above the pool all day.
We treated ourselves to breakfast and dinner from Loreana. DO NOT PASS THIS OPPORTUNITY UP! She is so kind and she’s a great cook!
The house is a walkable 1 mile from town. Just follow the beach! 🙂 It was also super easy to get around town and to the local markets with the golf carts.

We had a terrific time at Casa Paquita. Daniel (concierge) and Lorena( cook and housekeeper) were super. The view was amazing, the location was perfect and the accommodations were great. We will definitely return again!

Pictures don't do this place justice! Our family of 7 adults and 3 children spent a week here, which was our first time visiting Costa Rica. (Feb 2023) The house was beautiful and in the perfect location for peace and quiet, but a short walk/golf cart ride to the town centre.
The house is well appointed with all the amenities you need for a beach vacation, and close to stores for food and drinks. Daniel was attentive and arranged all of what we needed (Golf Carts, airport transfers and beer in the fridge) while Jon kept the grounds and pool clean and well kept. Lorena and Izabella made or stay a gastro feast every morning for breakfast and several dinners during our stay. The meals were some of the best food we had while in Costa Rica and well worth the money to have it all prepared, served and cleaned up. Hands down having a personal chef and concierge while enjoying your private residence had us living like the rich and famous for a week!
The sunsets are amazing and we spent most evenings sitting on the luxury pool loungers or around the large patio table enjoying a drink and some music (Sonos Speaker system worked great). The pool had a great shallow area for the children to play in, and pools toys to keep them busy. Monkeys hanging out in the trees for entertainment, a neighbourhood cat to make it feel like home.
The town of Tamarindo and surrounding area was amazing to explore. My wife and I are SCUBA divers and would highly recommend Franco @TamaDive. He took us out to the Catalinas Islands for the day to explore some volcanic island reefs.
We would definitely stay again and recommend this property and amazing staff to anyone considering a trip to paradise.

Cant say enough of how much we enjoyed our trip to Casa Paquita this past week. Daniel, was unbelievable from the minute we landed, to assisting us with any of our requests throughout the stay, even with last minute changes. Lucinta, kept the house spotless, and would highly recommend you take her up on some home cooked meals. Was our best dinner of the trip. Easy. Wont lie, we spent a ton of time in the pool, which you can see from the pictures is pretty easy to do. The location was a short 5min ride into town, which was great. Close enough to restaurants, and shops, but far enough away that it was super quiet at the house. I could go on and on, but overall this was an ideal place and location for our group.

If I could have given it 10 stars I would. As someone who relies heavily on reviews, I knew I wanted to leave a thoughtful review. But I’m at a bit of a loss for words. Daniel helped put together my entire trip. From cooking staff, golf cart rentals, dinner reservations, transportation to and from the airport- to setting up decorations for the surprise party for my husband. We were 14 adults, all of whom travel an incredible amount and every single couple was blown away. The rooms all have ensuite bathrooms, most have king or queen bathrooms. Air conditioning is great. the lay out was incredible and the sunsets at the pool were spectacular I HIGHLY recommend this house and Daniel- also the chefs cooking was FABULOUS. I’m sincerely at a loss for a single complaint. Just wow.

The house was great (as usual-we stayed here last year). Daniel and Lorraina did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable and they didn't disappoint. The location is great-on the beach and convenient to town. We are looking at staying there again next year. We had 13 adults this year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Sitting on the back patio watching the ocean was as close to paradise as we have experienced. The location was excellent. We weren't big fans of Tamarindo as it's just another busy beach town, but this property is far enough away that you don't feel like you are in Tamarindo yet close enough to walk (less than 20 mins). The price was a bit high, but worth it as a family getaway. The property includes staff for cleaning and landscape and pool service. It's kept very well. Lorena prepared us a wonderful dinner one evening, which was perfect after a full day of zip line and rafting adventures. The meal was an additional cost, but not any more than going to a restaurant for the seven of us. The house manager, Daniel, was very attentive and easily reached. He even came on Sunday to say goodbye. Overall a great vacation and a great property.

We celebrated Christmas in Costa Rica this year, and truly had the best time! We were a group of 14, 9 adults and 5 children. This property is amazing and just as depicted in the photos. They have upgraded the extra bed in the room with the bunk beds to a king, which was a nice surprise. We all loved the pool area, and the quick access to the beach. The sunsets are spectacular every night. We did see monkeys and iguanas on the property and many small crabs on the beach.
I will echo other reviews in regards to Daniel, Lorena and staff. They are so helpful and kind. We had to move our flights due to a snowstorm at home and Daniel was still super accommodating even though some of us arrived early. He made excellent recommendations for excursions and provided transportation for that as well. Lorena is an excellent cook. You MUST have her cook for you. We did not have a bad meal in Costa Rica, but we agreed her meals were our favorite. The guys were successful deep sea fishing, and she prepared the mahi and tuna several different ways for us. Her guac, salsa, and ceviche were some of the best we've ever had.
I would highly recommend this property and staff! Pura Vida!

We loved the location of this property. Close enough to town but far enough from the hustle and bustle of town. This property couldn't have a more helpful property manager than Daniel. The suggestions he made from transportation to/from the airport, recommending the cooks, restaurants to go to, the excursions, were all top notch. We would advise tourists to not count on always being able to use a charge card as many only wanted cash and we had to go get more cash at the ATM half way through our week.
Sleeping was excellent with great beds, pillows, bedding and air conditioners. The grounds were immaculate and very well kept. We had fun walking on the beach and appreciated the outside hoses and shower to clean up before returning to the house. The indoor waterfall wasn't working when we were there and we were looking forward to that but everything else was attended to immediately - including having a new dishwasher installed!
Lorena, Isabel and Tiffany were wonderful cooks and the food was always plentiful and had some for yummy afternoon leftovers too! She cooked our Thanksgiving Dinner for us - we requested a seafood dinner and it was one of our best meals while in Costa Rica. Having the golf carts for all ten of us (2 carts) was a great suggestion and we were able to use them to get anywhere we wanted to go. Coffee on the back porch while breakfast was being prepared was pure relaxation.
There was only one problem... the week at Casa Paquita was not long enough! Pure VIda!!

The entire team was completely professional and courteous during booking and throughout the visit. All communication was clear.
The house is fantastic. Plenty of space and privacy to spread out, immaculately clean, great hot water, comfortable pillows and towels. We asked for breakfast daily and I’d 100% recommend this. It was delicious, plentiful, and super convenient. And before you even changed to a suit the kitchen was spotless again. The bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. Amazing service.
The pool and garden is fantastic with beautiful views, and right out the gate is a spectacular beach and a great walk in either direction. The sunsets are amazing.
We had a golf cart: highly recommend! Quick trip into town on a paved road and many food and shopping options. Some really wonderful restaurants but then back at the house pure peace and quiet. Perfect night sleep, good AC, ceiling fans, tranquility.
This place leaves nothing out. Absolutely perfect. To Daniel and the entire team an enormous thank you.

Casa Paquita was wonderful for our party of 19! 8 adults and 11 kids stayed 5 days on the property and never felt cramped. Between the main house, the casita and the pool, everyone was able t find their space. Not to mention that the direct access to the beach made it easy for the kids to go exploring during the low tides. The views from the two master bedroom balcony was breathtaking!
The property host, Daniel, made sure everyone in our party got to and from the airport and the house with ease. He also helped arrange golf carts so that we could all get into town easily (5 min ride). But the star of the property was Ms. Lorena!! Her and her associate, Isabella, kept the house clean every morning and made sure we had clean bath and pool towels daily (which is hard when you have 11 kids in and out of the pool all day). She also prepared several meals for our party during our stay (for a reasonable fee + groceries). He meals were delicious and filling! We always had left overs for the next day!
The only unforeseen major hiccup was the fact that we periodically lost running water for 4 of the 5 days we were there due to a leak between the house and the reservoir tank. Daniel and his team (Jonny and Carlos) worked daily to find the problem. Of course the noise from the jackhammers and the water being out wasn’t ideal, but we just headed to the beach or played in the pool while they worked. On top of that, Daniel, the property owners and myself worked out a partial refund that was more than far, which they didn’t have to do. Because of that, I’d rent the house again.
Things to note:
-Bedroom 5 is attached to the main house, but can only be accessed from outside the house. Which could be great for teens or a couple. Not so much for small kids.
-The Internet in the Casita was a little spotty initially. But Jonny switched out the WiFi extender and everything was better.
-If you decide to hire a bartender, ask Daniel to confirm the skill set and fee of the service. Our bartender was double what we were quoted $60 instead of $30) and his drinks were not good.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and did not want to leave!

We rented 2 houses for our Family Reunion of 38 Cousins, and Casa Paquita was by far the Superior of the two houses, both in decor and in customer service. Daniel was responsive to my emails, Jonathan had everything arranged for our arrival, including some things we hadn't thought of and so appreciated, and Lorena and Isabel were so accommodating to our group. Do yourselves a favor and have Lorena cook for you every day - she made breakfast and dinners for us (and shopped!), and our stress level was so low because of that. There is a stipend plus cost of food. Very very reasonable. We still talk about how much we miss her food (and some Cousins have made tortillas at home, as Lorena taught them). We enjoyed our vacation so very much. The pool was great for the kids, rooms and beds were comfy, it is close to town to walk (but I would suggest renting a golfcart for ease), with a few restaurants nearby, and a foodtruck area on way to Tamarindo, as a few examples. There are lots of tide pools to explore, and the kids enjoyed jumping the waves in front of the house. We saw iguanas, monkeys, hummingbirds galore while hanging outside. Swimming in the ocean is further down the beach, but an easy walk. Or in Tamarindo with bigger waves to surf on. We are keeping this house on our Return To list, it was a spectacular stay and we can't thank the Staff enough for making this a Reunion to be remembered. Gracias!

The beach is a hidden gem! We laid under the beautiful trees and listened to the waves. Lorena is an amazing cook, and cleans and even offered to help with our laundry. Great home for larger groups.

Our 3-generation family of 12 had what our grandson said was the best vacation ever! The home, with all of its spaciousness for family gathering, and multiple bedroom suites for privacy and comfort, just was more than we had hoped for. Daniel’s concierge assistance was excellent for our 7 night stay, providing us with great companies to enjoy horseback riding, ATV exploring, surfing lessons, zip lining, deep-sea fishing (landed two large Mahi Mahi, and a sailfish), and the Bali 4.1catamaran private day long sail with Manta Ray Sailing and Captain Luka, and his crew was just superb. Our kind and amazing housekeeper and chef was gift beyond expectations. We spent hours relaxing in and around the beautiful infinity pool or going for walks through the lush landscape to the ocean beaches just beyond to pool. Even the media and sound systems added to the experience. Best family vacation ever!

Awesome house for large group
We loved our stay at casa Paquita. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. The staff was the BEST! Definitely hire Lorena for as many meals as you can! The house manager was very helpful and super responsive. The one thing to note is that the 5th bedroom has an outside the main house entrance. We did not know that and wasn’t a great option for our group with lots of kids.

When can we come back?
We had a group of 17 - 4 couples and all of the kids. It was as gorgeous as depicted - plenty of room for all with lots of privacy! Just steps to the beach with both sandy and rocky areas resulting in some fun tidepools to explore. Daniel was a god-send - from picking us all up at the airport to stocking our fridge - even decorated for a 15th birthday including a cake - facilitated the rental of 3 golf carts which were so much fun and literally allowed us to be in town in less than 5 minutes. Maid service and personal chefs everyday for any meal we asked was the absolute cherry on top! We made memories to last a lifetime and are so thankful the house is made available for rent. What a find!

Beautifully designed villa and pool, overlooking the ocean. The property manager was so helpful will airport shuttles, golf carts, restaurant recs, babysitter, activity reservations, and best of all an onsite chef who prepared the most delicious traditional Costa Rican meal, YUM!
Our only negative was that the villa was in need of some maintenance. Plumbing fixtures that were not attached, water pooled from under the refrigerator, the microwave was falling out of the cabinet and the roof had many leaks. Gorgeous Pool Villa
Beautifully designed villa and pool, overlooking the ocean. The property manager was so helpful will airport shuttles, golf carts, restaurant recs, babysitter, activity reservations, and best of all an onsite chef who prepared the most delicious traditional Costa Rican meal, YUM!
Our only negative was that the villa was in need of some maintenance. Plumbing fixtures that were not attached, water pooled from under the refrigerator, the microwave was falling out of the cabinet and the roof had many leaks. This last is a real issue during the rainy season. I am hoping once there is a vacancy these should be addressed.
