I’ll start with saying this chalet was bigger than we expected. It was so spacious and had a well stocked kitchen. We didn’t receive check-in instructions ahead of time but was able to reach the host via phone when we arrived. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the space itself. The main reason I’m ranking this as good instead of excellent is because there were a LOT of dead flies near the main sliding doors which hinted to me that someone hadn’t been there to clean right before we arrived, rather a few days or a week prior. The electrical box labeling was a tad confusing as well and we weren’t able to figure out how to turn the lights on in a few of the room. But overall, I’d recommend this place, just be a bit patient with the electrical switches.

We loved this cabin! We brought eight children, ages 1-16, and were all comfortable, with enough sleeping space and play space.

Very nice home, great living space, deck, BBQ. We were 7 people using all the bedrooms and a pullout downstairs. Plenty of room and comfort for everyone. A little further away from sites versus other options. However, the house and setting more than made up for the extra 10-30 minutes of travel time. Pam was very responsive to questions leading up to our stay. We would book this house again.

The Chalet is located super close to Deadwood, and just about an hour from Mount Rushmore. It was perfect for our family.

Beautiful cabin. Owners very responsive when asked questions. Would definitely recommend staying here. About 15 mins from Deadwood, 1 hr from Rapid City airport
