Characterful pub, in a great location. Dave the manager was extremely helpful. Easy access to the beach and the high street.
It’s a shame an evening meal is no longer available, however there are numerous places within walking distance. The room is approached by a steep, narrow staircase- quite typical for a historic property, thankfully Dave carried our bags.

Age and Traditional property good location to beach and shops.
Entrance to rooms via steep staircase looking a little tired. Lots of coming and going through adjacent doors without a soft close. Bit noisy. No longer offering Breakfast room could do with walls having a new coat of paint. No secure internet. Sky tv would be nice.

Lovely room, delicious breakfast and super friendly staff. The pub is great too.
We had to move the car further down the street because there are parking restrictions outside. But it wasn't really that much hassle.

Room was stylish, comfortable and clean. Nice atmospheric bar.
Breakfast should not be included in the price. Was only available between 9am to 10am and we needed to leave around 8am. Check in staff offered to get some food ready for us to collect at 8am, but noone came to open up so waited around for 10 minutes but had to leave and buy from a café on our way out. It's expensive for one night, without breakfast.
