This location is great! Condo was fine for a weekend, I can't image staying for a week and trying to cook. Very few pots and pans. Trash can in kitchen the size of a bathroom can. Huge bathtub that took up way to much space and made the bedroom small. No smart tv's so you are stuck watching local basic channels. Office said they were open 9- 9pm but closed at 5:30pm which means the pool is closed. The location is great to stroll down and eat and shop in Downtown.

The unit was a spacious 1BR/1Bath with satellite TV both in the bedroom and living room, and it was 3 minutes drive to the hospital where I needed to work the next day. It is walking distance to restaurants too. I'm sure the view is much better during the summer vs the winter storm that I endured since it is located close to the bridge.

The concept is similar to an Air B&B, where a unit owner owns the room and rents out the space through a management company, and other units are owner occupied. Please note that the mgmt company is staffed only between the hours of 4p-6p. So if you need the comforts of knowing that there is a person or security guard at the front desk on site, or a business center, or a breakfast area/bar/ vending machines (like a hotel), this is not laid out in that format. Arrangements are made for guests arriving later, which accommodated my late arrival check in. It was a very smooth process for both check-in and check out since I arrived & left before management was on site. Nice balcony but be aware that your neighbors are within arms length when you’re out there. If you don’t draw the shades, they can see right inside the living room area (and the guests at Hotel Earl across the street can see too). Right on the other side of the drawbridge so you can park & walk downtown. Only requirement is to toss your own trash in the dumpster before leaving. We will definitely come back.

There were a few drawbacks, the comforter on the bed was dirty and had quite a few spots on it, there was only one roll of toilet paper for the weekend, and seeing as we were gone both days skiing, we could not stop down to the front desk to get any more. The bathroom could definitely use some updating and a coat of paint, same with the bedroom. Just seems like some small touches could make a big difference. The kitchen and living room or great. Loves the fireplace as well.

The condo is in a Great location. It is convenient to downtown, Charlevoix restaurants and shops. The drawbridge (opens every half hour), beach, lighthouse, and wonderful sunsets are only a short walk away.

Be aware that there is only a Petite kitchen. There is a two burner stove top, microwave and a dorm sized fridge. There is however a full sized dishwasher. A coin laundry is at the end of the hall. There were a limited number of restaurants open on Sunday and/or Monday so cooking was a bit of an issue.

Although the Pointes North Inn/Condo is in a convenient location, the building as a whole is showing its age and is in need of general maintenance, painting, and carpet. One of the luggage carts had a flat tire.

While Unit 212 was surface clean, it needed a deep clean. The living room air conditioning was dirty and could barely keep the room cool. The balcony railing was missing paint and the screen was coated with dust.
