Claire was an incredible host! When I made my booking, I said I'd be arriving by bicycle. She actually drove down the road until she found me, then have me a lift back! It's was a terribly windy evening and the hills and head wind were killing me, so I was extremely grateful for her kindness! She cooked an incredible dinner for me, too. This is a lovely B&B, complete with two beautiful dogs, and I recommend it to anyone passing through on their way to either Auckland or Rotorua!

Lovely host and I really liked the option of having a homemade lasagna dinner at additional cost.

A beautiful remote location. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard, warm on those cold nights with a fire and double glazing. A quick stay for just one night on my way to the airport. Clare was a great host. The optional add on of food was divine and her passion for cooking and baking was greatly welcomed by my stomach! Two beautiful dogs, Scutz the sausage dog will melt your heart, as long as tummy tickles are provided. As a fellow Pom, crumble and ice cream put the cherry on top for me! Will book again with my family if we are back in the North Island. Thank you for your generosity and kindness. All the best to yourself and Steve.

Bed in the motorhome was comfy. Lovely view from the window at the top of the motorhome. I liked that there was somewhere to stay during the cyclone.

Loud music at night, although they did turn it down after 10pm when I asked though. There was no running water and I could only access a toilet by crossing to the main house. I thought it was expensive for what it was.
