The condo was beautiful. The view was fantastic. Check in was quick and the office was conveniently located. Tracey checked me in and she was very thorough. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pans and utensils I would highly recommend.

Where do I start; one functioning elevator, parking access limited and across the street, very limited household supplies for the condo. The beds were tired and furniture dated. I wouldn’t recommend this property or property management group.

Well stocked unit, master bedroom had a comfortable bed, furniture very nice although the rocking chairs may need to be updated soon. Elevators were being replaced, but should be finished by summer. Crescent Shores is very well taken care of, inside and out. We liked having covered parking across the street. Nice location in North Myrtle Beach. ODVR is a wonderful company to deal with. Quick response to any request we had, or if something in the unit needed attention. We will be back!

The master bedroom was very nice, but the other 2 bedrooms needed some upgrades. The mattresses on all 4 queen beds need to be replaced and they were very uncomfortable. The outdoor patio needed to be pressure washed or cleaned as well. Also very disappointed that the water was shut off for an entire day due to maintenance and we were not made aware until we seen signs at condo upon arrival. Basically could not use bathrooms for the day. The TV in one of the bedrooms would not work and it was reported upon arrival but was never repaired. Technician checked and assigned to Spectrum who never showed. Would definitely recommend if upgrades were made to queen mattresses but would not until that was completed.

My family and I enjoyed the condo. The location is perfect. The inside of the condo was very clean. This condo is HUGE. Having that room much room was awesome for our 2 year old daughter, it gave her plenty of room to play. The balcony and views are amazing. You have easy access to all things myrtle beach has to offer. The company we rented from, Owners Direct Vacation Rentals is a different story. They issue you a check for your $300 security deposit a week or two after your stay. We got ours for $200 claiming we broke a fridge shelf. My family and I did not do this but we don’t have any proof because we didn’t take any pictures of every little thing upon leaving. ODVR is scamming people. So unless you plan on taking pictures of everything little thing before you leave, don’t rent from them.

The property was large, had a great layout, and perfect location. Our large group of family and friends had a great time!

Entrance to the unit needs some up keeping, with a fresh coat of paint on the door as well as the concrete floor in the corner near the 3rd BR window, needs to be repaired. For elderly using a device or young children running it could be very dangerous. The unit itself, was nicely decorated and comfortable, though one of the beds in the 2nd bedroom (closest to the BR) sags almost to the floor. The Master bathroom, and 2nd bathroom shower drip consistently for hours, as does the kitchen sink. The TV system in all 3 bedrooms are very difficult to use. A guess shouldn't have to read the directions each time to get the system to work! 3 remotes to utilize the TV's after a day of activity is not conducive for a relaxing vacation. The sliding door in the master suite sticks making it very difficult to open. It would be so much better if there were assigned spots for parking. Some of the bigger vehicles in the garage across the street, made parking very difficult each night. We were not aware that the parking spot was not located at the facility itself (that is for owners only). Though we had a handicap tag we often parked on 4. and above as there were no close spots designed for this type of parking.
For the most part the vacation was great, with just a few hiccups in the unit. Only negative restaurant was the Sea Captains House near 23rd St,. We had eaten there on 2 other occasions and enjoyed the food. This time, the only good thing that can be said was the server was amazing. Food was terrible (wilted salad that was warm, skin on the fried fish that was tough, food temperature lukewarm and very salty) Unfortunately, we won't be back to that eatery!
This stay overall was a 4.7 even with the few issues in the unit. We would stay there again.

Pros- 1. The condo was very nice and spacious. 2 The kitchen had everything we needed 3. The balcony has a perfect view of the beach 4. Beach and outdoor pools areas were very nice. 5. Great location for families. 6. Checking in and out was very easy. Loading and unload was easy also because all the close parking is reserved for it. 7. All the staff in and around the condo was very nice. 8. 5 beach chairs and 2 boogie boards were there for our use. There was an umbrella there too but once we put it up we discovered it was broken so we had to go buy our own, which was no big deal. Cons- Housekeeping could have been a little better. 1. The floors had been sweep but really needed a good mopping. After walking barefoot for about 20-30 minutes my feet were black on the bottom. We had our own cleaning supplies so we cleaned the counter tops, tubs, showers, and floors ourselves before using them. 2. There were only 12 towels for 10 people for the week, which meant we were washing towels all week. 3. Out of the 5 beds only one had a flat sheet and pillow slips, the others only had pillow protectors and a bed spread. I was in the o my bed that had sheets and pillow slips and did not here about the other beds until middle of the week or I would have called about this issue. 4. There were 3 blankets in the whole condo, one was a small throw, the second looked so wore out we didn’t want to use it but it did smell clean so we did; the third one again looked old and smelled bad. 5. Both sliding doors to the balcony were very are to open and close and the bedroom one was almost impossible. Then you have the issue of if you do get it open you can’t get it closed all the way and the smoke alarms would go off(only the men could actually get it closed all the way). This made it very difficult to go out and enjoy the balcony. 6. We received 2 sets of keys for the for the condo but only one key worked and it was hard to get it work work. This made it difficult because we were all going to different places at different times. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO type locations and normally don’t have any issues so this is the first time there have been that many thing to write about. Over all we made the best of it and really enjoyed our vacation. I would love to return it to this location but next I will pay attention to other reviews and ask a few more questions.
