In una NO WAKE COVE con MOLTO PENDENTE PENDENTE! WIFI veloce INCLUSO! Abbiamo appena acquistato questa casa e abbiamo dipinto e aggiornato gli arredi. È pulito e confortevole con molto spazio per tutti! È in una posizione perfetta a metà lago, vicino allo State Park al punto R-21.
All'interno troverai lenzuola e decorazioni nuove, mobili comodi ed elettrodomestici da cucina nuovi di zecca. C'è molto da fare per tenere tutti occupati in una giornata piovosa o dopo il tramonto. Ci sono 4 nuove TV a schermo piatto con Direct TV, wifi illimitato di dati, un biliardino e un tavolo da air hockey.
All'esterno, migliora solo! Questo è ciò per cui vieni al lago! Enorme nuovo mazzo con molti posti a sedere e una grande area per grigliate. Il ponte ha ampie vedute della baia e splendidi tramonti. C'è una leggera pendenza sul molo che anche i nonni possono fare, con un percorso per tutto il percorso. C'è una zona salotto coperta sul molo, un galleggiante con molto spazio per legare una barca e acqua profonda. Il molo è situato proprio all'interno di un'area senza scia, rendendolo perfetto per nuotare e andare in kayak. Aggiunti di recente quest'anno, firepit all'aperto!
Il limite di occupazione è impostato su 6 a causa delle limitazioni del permesso di noleggio della contea di Bedford.

We loved our stay at Challenge Accepted. Our kids ranged in age from 7 to 17 and everyone found something to keep them entertained inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the view was priceless! We would love to stay over the summer to take advantage of all of the activities on the lake.

Challenge Accepted was a very clean nice house. Plenty of space to spread out! Lots of pots, pans, dishes and even a crockpot!

We really loved this visit. The home was exactly as described and was the perfect getaway for our teenage boys who love to fish!
Coming in fall allowed us to use the kayaks during warm days and the fire pit on the chilly nights.
We would love to return to this lovely home again!

Five friends from college got together at this beautiful waterfront getaway. With five bedrooms, we all had our own room, and had plenty of space in the house to reconnect. The lake view is great. We spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing in the fall air. we took nice long, walks up the road, running into some deer along the way. A tip for others, driving in late after dark, the last mile is past the dead-end sign, on a gravel road. I hope to visit again and would book here if available!!

We had a wonderful weekend at Smith mountain lake at this beautiful property! The kayaks and game room were such a great combo with having a mix of weather conditions - our 8-11yo’s had such a blast! Definitely hoping to return in the summer.

Everything was lovely, very well stocked, clean, great location on water with wonderful views.
We were a little “thrown” when we reached the sign” end road maintenance, no turn around” so we did circle back only to realize the house was down this road.
Two bathrooms had a bath mat, one did not

Very nice location with great view. Quiet surroundings. Everything in the house was in good shape and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and it was convenient that bed linens were included. Nice sitting areas outside. I would stay here again!

We had such an enjoyable time at “Challenge Accepted”!! The house was very clean, has so much room and so many amenities! The owners have thought of everything! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and well-stocked, and we really appreciated all the pantry space for our food. There are so many comfortable areas to hang out, both inside (spacious living areas on both floors), and outside (beautiful deck upstairs and nice shady patio down, both with tables and plenty of seating). We were blessed with sunny fall weather and spent most of our time on the large dock sunning (plenty of lounge chairs), fishing, and paddling in the kayaks. The house is on a lovely location on the lake, just inside a no-wake zone. No fear if weather is bad…there is a combo pool/air hockey table, foosball table and arcade game machine. We just didn’t have time to enjoy all of these entertainment amenities! Maybe next stay? Terry was so attentive and responded to my inquiries and questions promptly. Overall, we had a fabulous long weekend, and cannot wait to book another stay! We highly recommend. Thanks again, Terry!!

We had a great time at “Challenge Accepted”. It was a great secluded location with great views. The home had everything we we needed. Very clean inside and outside and had plenty of room. Amenities were great. Loved the games downstairs and the fire pit. Dock at the lake was great for hanging out during the day and we enjoyed swimming and using the kayaks and canoe. We would definitely recommend this home and would definitely consider staying here again.

We rented this house for a mom getaway. It was even better than the pictures had shown. Very close to some fun attractions, including state, parks, and some shopping. I would definitely books this location again with no question. It is a wonderful place for a family trip as well.

Had a little trouble with electronic lock but Terry took care of it. Place was very nice. Loved sitting on deck and dock. Decorated cute and had plenty of everything we needed. Remember only bed linen is included so bring towels and such.

Wonderful property! Great location. Lots of space & very comfortable. Fun amenities- kayaks, canoe, fishing & inside games. Evenings on the dock were the best! Rented a jet ski for a day- easy & reasonably priced.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here…if only we could have stayed longer!! LOTS of room, very well stocked kitchen, plenty of parking, located at the end of the road so it’s quiet, fabulous location on the lake (right inside a no-wake zone) with kayaks, a canoe and a large dock, nice large gas grill, 15-ish mins to a grocery store…I could go on and on. Terry was a wonderful host! She was always quick to respond to any questions. If you have the chance to stay here…do it!!! Highly recommend!!

House is in a rural area off a gravel road about 20 minutes from restaurants, shopping & activities. House inside is beautifully decorated, spacious with plenty of bed space, kitchen with all amenities, scenic back deck with comfy chairs, wonderful fire pit with firewood & chairs. Our girlfriend group of five loved it & would rent it again.

The house was clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could want. It’s a beautiful home. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and the fire pit. We really loved the lounge chairs on the dock and the deck furniture. Everything was perfect.

Spent several days at “Challenge Accepted” with family. While the weather wasn’t great, we thoroughly enjoyed the rental. The house is located on a nice cove of the lake; we found it to be clean, spacious and pleasantly decorated. The game room downstairs was perfect for the teens and the kitchen was well stocked with gadgets, pots and pans, etc.
Would definitely rent this place again.

This was a great property! Filled with lots of space and fun. I flew in and stayed with my daughters and grandson. We did lots of cooking, board games, pool, air hockey and foosball. The home was as advertised. The location was okay but a little out of the way. We’re going to try the North Shore next or may get back to this in the summer. Thanks for having us…Team Burke

My boyfriend and I took his parents and sister out to relax, everyone had something going on and being able to sit back on a lake enjoying sunsets/risings, playing the games provided which everyone took some loses in and disconnecting everything was great !

The house was very clean and had multiple sleeping arrangements. Spacious congregating rooms. The lake view was relaxing. It is a good 15 minute drive to Moneta or a grocery store. Most stores (in the 30 mile area) were closed for the season.

Let me start by saying that I am the gal that travels with Clorox wipes, I like clean spaces. This house is AMAZING!! We have never stayed in a vacation rental as clean and beautifully kept as this one. The pictures of this house on the listing do not do it justice, the amount of space this house has is unbelievable! There is plenty of indoor space to have a nice dinner even with a large family and even more outdoor space to grill out and sit around visiting with your family or friends while enjoying the view of the lake. It is at the end of the drive which gives plenty of privacy but isn’t too far from restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen is so well stocked with anything you would need to cook and meal prep and the pool table/air hockey table & arcade games are perfect for the kiddos once the sun goes down. Our family was super sad to leave, we will be back!!

We were in town for a family wedding and long weekend with family and this property was PERFECT for us! We had little kids (4-6 years old) and they had so much fun swimming and fishing from the dock, kayaking, playing air hockey, blowing bubbles on the deck, etc. The house is just as advertised and is clean, bright and spacious. We had some family members renting another house come over for the afternoon to swim and they all agreed that this would be our rental house next we go to SML!!

Great place. Perfect size house stocked with absolutely everything you could need. Very clean and updated. The quiet yet deep cove was perfect for water activities of all kinds. Everyone loved the dock fans and new dock ladder. The meteor shower from the fire pit was spectacular. Would definitely 100% stay again.

Hands down the most relaxing vacation my family has had. The house has everything you could ever need along with enough space to spread out and not be on top of each other. The amenities are endless. The dock is very relaxing with plenty of shade, chairs and even ceiling fans.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Challenge Accepted. There was plenty of space for our family and friends. The owners have taken great care of the property and has made recent updates. The dock is where we hung out at the most. This house is located in a no wake cove and was nice with little ones swimming. The canoe and kayaks were fun to take out. Three suggestions to share, a fishing rod rack would be very useful at the dock instead of leaning them on the table. The downstairs patio area has a lot of room, maybe add a hot tub? The upstairs king bedroom bed will need to be replaced soon. Thank you for the great memories and we hope to be back soon.
