Charming Woodsy Cottage - Ocean View with Monhegan Island
Vi diamo il benvenuto a rimanere al nostro cottage in uno dei luoghi più belli rocciosa, frastagliata costa del Maine. Siamo insieme nel bosco, su una collina, con una splendida panorami sull'oceano. Prendere in suoni e profumi di schiantarsi navigare. Osservare le isole lontane nel Golfo del Maine, tra cui magnifica Isola Monhegan. Guarda lobster boat portano nella loro gustoso pescato.
Il casolare si trova a pochi passi dalla Rachel Carson Salt Pond Nature Preserve. Altre passeggiate brevi (~ mezzo miglio) lungo l'oceano vi porterà alla bella lunga Cove Point, o di New Harbor, un porto di pesca attivo con un chilo di aragosta e il ristorante, e gli Hardy Crociere in barca.
A 5 minuti di auto si arriva a Pemaquid Beach-- un vero gioiello in Midcoast Maine, o al famoso Pemaquid Point Lighthouse-- la scena scelta per il trimestre Maine.
Vi invitiamo a godere di una tranquilla e rilassante vacanza, nei fresca brezza marina, l'estate. Noi non abbiamo la televisione via cavo, ma lo facciamo offrire un lettore DVD, impianto stereo, internet ad alta velocità, e molti libri.

Stayed for two weeks and loved it. The sweeping ocean view, combined with the constant sound of the surf crashing onto the shore, was mesmerizing. The cottage is really homey and comfortable, The kitchen, though tiny, is well equipped and we prepared several meals with ease. The location is perfect, with lots of great destinations within 30 minutes drive. We liked the proprietors, Pam and Bennet Brooks, so well we had them over for dinner!
There are a few things that could use sprucing up. The bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs, so if you’re like me and need to make a few overnight calls of nature, that part is a little challenging.
But we all agreed we would stay here again in a heartbeat. This place is special.

My family and I stayed at Pam’s cottage for a week in July. The cottage is very cute and well maintained. The sunroom was great to relax in at night. The deck was my favorite place to relax. There are ocean views from the deck and you can hear the waves crashing. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. The front upstairs bedroom has the same ocean view that the deck has. The kitchen is small but we were able to make it work. There is a tiny shower in the bathroom and that’s the only thing that could use an improvement. The location is very nice. There is a very steep driveway to get to the cottage. So be aware. It is not paved. We loved the ice cream stand in town. There is a nice grocery store in town as well. Highly recommend Pemaquid Seafood. It’s about 5-10 minutes from the cottage. Pemaquid beach was crowded but nice that it was 5 minutes away. Pam is very easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would definitely recommend a stay at her cottage!

We have stayed at this cozy cottage a number of years. It is comfortable clean and very relaxing. View of ocean and you can hear the waves and seagull along with the bouy bell in the distance. The pictures need to be updated as Pam has made some nice improvements. The beds are comfortable quite neighbors. Thers is also a great country market very close where you can get almost anything you need. Hardy boat tours within walking distance too. Pemiquid lighthouse a few miles down the road never disappoints . Cute cozy restaurant and gift shop next door with a great view of the crashing waves and lighthouse. It is our favorite place to getaway and relax and regroup. There is plenty of activities close by Monhegan island, Pemaquid, state beach, kayaking, and shopping. In the quaint town of Darimascotta .Enjoy!
