4 Bedroom beach house only minutes walk to Cylinder Beach.
Casa sulla spiaggia con quattro camere da letto e grande terrazza, a pochi passi da Cylinder Beach, dallo Straddie Hotel, da negozi e mezzi pubblici. Questa proprietà è stata completamente rinnovata (completata nel novembre 2012) ed è fondamentalmente una casa sulla spiaggia nuova e moderna. Il livello superiore è il salone, la cucina, due camere da letto, 1 bagno e un grande ponte con una bella vista sul mare e sulla boscaglia. C'è una torre di avvistamento delle balene al largo di questo ponte che consente viste sull'acqua ancora più imponenti. Le scale interne conducono al piano inferiore che ha due camere da letto più la seconda ampia zona giorno che conduce ad un altro balcone con vista sull'acqua. La lavanderia e un terzo bagno sono anche a questo livello.
Caratteristiche: 4 camere da letto (3 matrimoniali, 2 singole, 3 bagni, 2 TV a colori, 2 lettori DVD, lettore CD, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde, macchina da caffè "Nespresso", lavatrice, barbecue a gas sul ponte superiore.

Cylinder Palms is a great home that has lots of space for everyone. It's only a short walk to the hotel, shops and beach, and about 1-2kms to the Bowls Club and Cafes/Restaurants. It is well presented and comes with many facilities and amenities.The only downside was the cleanliness. The showers had quite a bit of mould and soap build up in the showers and the kitchen cupboards, drawers and some cooking equipment was dirty. I spent a couple of hours in the kitchen pulling out cutlery, crockery, catering equipment and cookware, cleaning the draws and cupboards, throwing out broken items and creating some form of organisation and practicality. Cleaners of such properties should be engaged on an annual basis to do this kind of deep clean to ensure it's kept to a high standard for guests. This information, broken items and photos were provided to the managers with a recommendation for a site inspection.

Surprisingly large and generous home very suitable for a large family. The downside is that parking is not easy except if vehicles are kept in the road in front of the house. Also, this house is not really a beach house. Getting to the beach is quite an athletic excursion by foot, especially for anyone over 55. The views from the house and the general ambiance are excellent. Overall, a very holiday-inducing house and a relaxing experience.

We love Straddie. I have been coming for 60 yrs. Cylinder Palms was spacious, furnishings in the lounge suit young folks more so than older as very low. Dining chair basic and not comfy. Beds great. We used all bed covers provided as it was cold. No air conditioning or heaters. Fire alarms went off at 338am and another evening due to ? Humidity, we were told. Crockery was minimal. An 8 setting dinner set should be provided when house is advertised for 8 adults. Only 5 dessert bowls so I purchased 6 more and 4 more coffee cups to boost supplies. The online photos dint indicate the steep block. 17 steps between levels. Again not suitable for those with mobility issues.
