Oceanfront Maalaea Kai 213 Serene Quiet Resort with Great Views
Ma'alaea Kai # 213, un condominio di fronte all'oceano in una località tranquilla, si trova nella pittoresca e tranquilla città di Ma'alaea, sulla sua unica strada residenziale. La camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale, mentre il soggiorno ha un divano letto, che consente fino a 4 ospiti. La cucina completa è stata piacevolmente rinnovata, pronta per la creazione di un capolavoro culinario per la buona cucina e il pranzo sul lanai privato, mentre ammirate le spettacolari viste sull'oceano. Questo condominio è confortevole con ventilatori a soffitto e AC centrale, TV via cavo e internet ad alta velocità e Wi-Fi, che sono tutti complementari (come è il parcheggio assegnato).
Due acri di paesaggio tropicale includono una piscina fronte mare, barbecue e aree pic-nic / giochi e un sacco di sedie a sdraio-non c'è niente di rilassante da fare e molto da vedere nella baia! È così divertente incontrarsi e "parlare di storie" (termine hawaiano per condividere notizie e avventure) con altri ospiti. La spiaggia di fronte a Ma'alaea Kai ospita la sua flottiglia di honu (tartarughe marine verdi) che crogiolarsi sulla spiaggia o ballonzolare nel surf. Le megattere tornano ogni inverno alla nascita dei loro vitelli, la loro attività è visibile ogni giorno. Le sere del fine settimana, una fila di torce sul bordo del mare crea un romantico ambiente tropicale, così come la luce lunare che splende attraverso l'acqua e un cielo che è costellato di stelle una volta che la notte tramonta. Sospiro.
Due luoghi degni della tua attenzione sono raggiungibili a piedi: a ovest verso il porto; est a Sugar Beach. Il porto è animato da barche che portano persone in emozionanti e / o romantiche escursioni. Ci sono anche negozi e ristoranti, la Pacific Whale Foundation, l'Acquario Maui e altro ancora. Sugar Beach è un tratto di costa tranquillo di 2,5 miglia, dove non ci sono edifici e non ci sono folle: sabbia bianca, pezzetti di corallo, alcune tartarughe marine che pendono e panorami senza fine.
Una delle cose migliori di questa unità è che si trova in una posizione così comoda e centrale. Nel giro di 15 o 40 minuti, puoi trovarti a giocare a golf su un campo di livello mondiale, cenare bene in un ristorante con tovaglie bianche, fare escursioni a East Lahaina Pali Trailhead (o uno dei tanti altri), portarlo in spiaggia in alcuni dei le migliori spiagge e molto altro! The reason you're thinking about booking this condo is surely the view from the lanai, and that alone makes this a great choice for where to stay on Maui. I was even lucky enough to spot a couple whales on my first day, just before they all packed up and left town. The condo is a bit dated, as others have noted, but that didn't affect my stay at all. It's wonderfully equipped in both the kitchen and beach supplies (towels, cooler with cooler blocks, chairs, etc). When the lanai door is open you can hear the waves, and there are sometimes sea turtles feeding at the rocks that line the property. It's not really a swimmable shore, but there is a beach just past a few other condos. Nice location, as close to central as you can get on Maui. One downside to note is the AC unit is quite far from the bedroom and is on a 6 hour timer. There were nights I woke up because I was too warm and had to reset the timer to get the AC back on. As expensive as Maui is, the condo was quite affordable, about the same as a very inexpensive hotels, and worlds better.

This is a great property, well maintained, great views, convenient elevator and walkways, ability to walk to restaurants and shops, a little distance from beach but great for walking exercise, also centrally located to reach all parts of the island. The condo was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. The only issues were the TV, not clear instructions on how to connect and operate, we were without TV for 5 days, after having caretaker look and could not fix, and two calls, Christian from agency came and was very helpful even said we should be compensated. The other comment is possibility of having a coffee and filter starter package until ability to shop. Other than that, our stay was wonderful, the people were friendly and we would highly recommend this property, and Destination Maui Vacations as we have contacted them before and they have been great to work with, also a property we will definitely consider coming back too!

View from the condo was very nice and the condo had adequate utensils, plates, paper towels, etc. as well as some extras such as books, maps, and beach chairs. The downside is the condo needs to be upgraded-the microwave is old, the burners on the stove are charred, and the fixtures in the bathroom are old. Additionally, we had to call the property manager because neither the bathroom sink, nor the tub would drain properly when taking a shower. To their credit, it was repaired the same day but how could this not be noticed or taken care of after previous guests? We also noticed some insects in the kitchen and bathroom and we were careful to not let any doors stay open. We would consider staying in the complex again, but not this unit.
