O pequeno senão do quarto no rés do chão é que não tem isolação para a rua (é uma simples antiga porta de garagem (?) por issso, como é uma zona muito turística, ouvem-se os barulhos da rua. Tirando isso gostámos de tudo!

Very comfortable apartment in a great location near all the central restaurants and bars. Owners were very helpful and even brought us a pastry on checkin. Flat was clean and functional. Also a free parking place was provided when requested.

The only minor thing was that the TV was not a smart TV, so limited English channels and unable to use streaming services. It did not affect us, but it’s worth noting that the steps up into the apartment are quite step and not ideal for people with poor mobility.

The hosts were very nice and responsive. The apartment had everything I needed for a my stay -- full kitchen, hot water, good bed, etc. It was very centrally located, which was wonderful. I could walk everywhere, no problem.

Noise. The problem is that the apartment is at street level on a very busy street with a lovely stoop that families seemed to congregate, which is nice but noisy.. Also, the apartment building next door is multi level, and people congregated under my bedroom window, waiting to be buzzed in. The other problem is that folks seemed to party late into the night, and I was awakened almost every night at 2:30 and 3:30 am. For 4 nights, I did not get a decent night's sleep.
