Absolutely nothing. It was shockingly bad and prior to writing this review I messaged to the owner and informed the host both of which I got very little response.

The room smelled of damp and as someone who had 2 small children this was a problem. The windows and bathroom were covered in mold at closer inspection. I was woken in the middle of the night with water drops from the ceiling onto my daughter and myself. So with no sleep we woke early and discovered disgusting stains on the celing where there were leaks. It looks like they tried to paint over it so I reckon its an ongoing issue. We had to open the widow for the smell so it was freezing. We explained to the women the next morning what happened and she acted shocked but with very limited english I dont think she grasped the problem. We didn t stay for breakfast and it made my stomach turn to think about eating in such a place. Keep clear and spend the but extra on something better for your health. The biggest let down was no respose for the owners and as someone who has been in the hospitality industry thats disappointing the most.

The b and B is very well located and is about 10 mins walking down to the town centre. The decor of the B and B is nice. It is very recently re painted The coffee was good.

There was no heating in the bathroom, no heating in the morning in the bedrooms or in the breakfast room. For the month of December this meant that we were uncomfortably cold. There was condensation on the ceiling of the room. The shower had no pressure. It was just a dribble of water. We would have liked to have had our breakfast earlier (than 9 am). I had not had the opportunity to clarify this the night before but as we waited to start breakfast the host preferred to do up another room. Considering the content of the breakfast she could have accomodated us. Breakfast was very disappointing. Normally when we book a B and B in Ireland we have an Irish breakfast. Here we had some cold meats and laughing cow cheese. The host informed me that it was because we booked via booking.com. Nothing to this effect was stated on the booking.com reservation.

Everything was perfect. The location was good, not too far from the Cork Airport. The accommodation was nice and clean. And the lady we met was so lovely and very helpful.

I have never had a similar experience in my life, and I mean that in a bad way. First, we arrived at the property and the lady working there was not friendly at all, I should have been guided by my first impression. The music in the hostel that the owners had was very loud, and we were on the ground floor, they obviously knew that would disturb the guests. To turn on the bathroom light you had to turn it on in the hallway, the radiator didn't work, we found hair in the shower and bathtub, sheets stained with something that we suspected was blood. The room smelled of humidity that the smell stuck to you. It was very cold in the room, we ask the lady to please turn the heat on and her answer between screams again was: 'NO, THE ROOM IS WORM!! I'll turn on the heating in an hour' and she left. Since when do you pay for a night in a place and they don't turn on the heating? We couldn't be there for more than ten minutes, we had to leave and book somewhere else. The employee called the owner, who was the same or worse than her, super rude and unpleasant. I have been to hostels, hostels and all types of accommodation, and NEVER in my life have I felt so badly treated as in this place. Normally I like BB's because of the close treatment and affection that the owners show to their guests and their business, but this place... I don't even know how it's still standing, or how they have employees like that, this place should be closed, if you don't know how to give good service, dedicate yourself to something else! I'm still waiting for them to at least get my money back, I've never had such a horrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

Very hospitable. Easy access to town.lidl store 4 min walk. Great location for a mini break.
