Great views but its a hard walk up the hill. Thankfully hotel lay on free transport which is really great.

Where do you start with Ocean Terrace? Nestled in the hills above Anse Royale, the view alone is worth top marks, but this little boutique hotel has so much more going for it. Our room was outstanding — spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented — and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was another highlight, especially sitting there enjoying the food while looking out over the incredible view. And did I mention the view? 😍 It really is stunning and was probably our favourite thing about the hotel. There’s also free parking, which was really useful for us, and access to a lovely swimming pool where we could relax after exploring the island. Ocean Terrace felt like one of those places where everything just comes together. The room, the staff, the breakfast, the facilities and, of course, that incredible view. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend Ocean Terrace to anyone looking for somewhere special in this part of Mahé. In fact, of all the places we stayed during our two weeks in the Seychelles, this is one that really stands out.
