City Life Demir Hotel

Location. It was near everything in town. Staff was pretty friendly.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Pillows are stiff and small. Only got one blanket and no sheet. Fridge turns off when you leave the room. TV didn’t connect to internet so couldn’t watch common streaming apps like Netflix. No hook for towels in the bathroom. A piece of furniture in the suite was broken. No coffee provided at breakfast.

Bed was large and comfortable (pillows to hard for our taste). Water was provided daily. AC was efficient. The location was very convenient. The included breakfast was okay.

We got a different room than the one we booked - the one we booked looked nicer. The floor in the room was very dirty and that did not change even though housekeeping came by daily to switch the towels etc. You could hear a lot of noise from outside (street noise, muezzin). Overall that made the stay not super comfortable which is why would choose a different hotel next time.

It was clean and in an amazing location, right in the town centre where night life and shops are great. Some places like the beach were a bit further away but connections were fab and convenient.

Staff wasn’t rude but also were not really the most friendly or helpful when we asked for help or directions or anything like that. Was not any extra facilities besides there being an attached coffee shop which is also where you had breakfast. Pretty sure we overheard some of the coffees and hot drinks being an extra charge at the breakfast so little thing to note there.

Bathroom is very clean and modern. Design of the room is very nice. Breakfast was okay. It is in the center and very easy to reach everything.

They didn’t totally check our room before we come. Window was broken (cannot be closed, but they fixed in the same day). It was 25 degree outside but the AC was just working as a heater. There was no chance to change it to cooling or to change the room because they said the hotel was full. We told them 3 times that it is too hot in our room like a sauna. Everyone said something else about the AC and only the 3rd person was able to close it. Every night we had to open the window but then it was so loud outside (close to a wedding place) and the room didn’t get cold. And we had to close the lights then so we didn’t have mosquitoes. It was not easy. And they didn’t give us any solution. The receiver of tv was broken too. We had to tell them twice so they came to check and change it.
