I came down to Indian rocks beach for my aunts 50th birthday, I stayed in this condo on my own as a younger female and I felt nothing but safe! Condo was very secure and felt comfortable and clean. The main bedroom is the only one I used but it was very comfortable. This condo supplied everything you need. The beach chairs were a really nice bonus! In a few reviews they mentioned you could hear music from crabby bills (directly across the street which is awesome!) this is true but was not a bother and ended right at 10pm. I think this would only cause an issue if you had young children but was really not that big of a deal. Would book here again and want family members that came over thought it was so nice and a perfect location!

The place is a nice small place would only want to stay as a couple or a couple and small kids no more than two.
Note the place is at the end of the building and is one of two places with no balcony.
Currently, there is no toaster, and the shower has a small leak. Also, the parking place for this condo was at the end close to the street. One other issue for older people is this condo has 17 steps to the door which some may have an issue with.
The place is close to the road and Crabby Bill's is right across the street and is loud from about 6 pm to 9 pm or so but was not an issue for us.

The space was in a great location on the beach. Checkin was easy and we got in a bit earlier that expected which was great! Plenty of space for two people and well equipped kitchen, beach items and had all supplies we needed. Would have liked the second bedroom to have more than a daybed trundle. We used it to store our luggage and clothes but wouldn't be very functional for adult guests. Only real challenge was the bathroom was very tight space getting in and out of shower. Would still come back again!!!

Very nice and responsive host! Any issues were addressed promptly! The location is great! The beach is wonderful. There are shops and restaurants all around. CVS is right across the street . The unit faces the street and there is no balcony, but it is an easy walk around the small building to get to the very pleasant sitting area facing the gulf. Also being in the front and upstairs adds to your privacy. The beach is then just yards away. The place is charmingly decorated. We enjoyed the paintings. There are games and lots of beach things. We enjoyed our stay very much!!! You can hear the music from Crabby Bills as people have said but it did not bother us at all. And it does end promptly at 9 or 10 at the latest. Often we enjoyed it. We would stay here again!

Location location location
We love this area of the gulf and this location provided the opportunity for an easy walk to the beach as well as restaurants. The unit itself is large and comfortable and overlooks Gulf Blvd. and Crabby Bill's Restaurant. While the music was loud at times it never lasted late and was actually entertaining. The master bed was comfortable. The unit could use a decent frying pan. We would definitely return.

Right on the beach and right across the street from a nice restaurant and an Alice cream parlor. The house was well stocked with beach supplies, towels, all kinds of extras. Had no issues with the house. Great stay!

Awesome updates
My family and I vacation at this condo yearly and we are never disappointed with our stay. I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the new updates to the condo. The new shower and floor tiles in the bathroom rivaled a high-end hotel. The new paint and furnishings in the bedrooms brightened up the condo and created a more relaxing environment. This location gives you the best of all worlds with the beach, restaurants, and shopping practically on the doorstep.

Love this place!
My family and I come to this condo yearly with our 3 little ones and we are always pleased with our stay! I have watched this condo transform over the years as the owner upgrades it regularly. It’s right on the beach (literally in the “backyard”) and not far from some really great restaurants, ice cream and coffee/smoothie shop in walking distance, plus it’s not too far from Clearwater where you can find dolphin rides, jet skiing and so much more! People complain about the bar across the street being noisy but it’s not all night and it is a tourist area. We ourselves have never been awakened or bothered by the music.
This is a forever vacation spot for us. Paula is easy to communicate with, she’s very understanding, and prompt in addressing our needs. Would 100% recommend!!

Awesome Stay
This condo was in the perfect location. We didn't have to travel far to enjoy many of the activities offered in the area. We were only steps away from the beach, which was extremely clean, spacious, and uncongested. There were also many great restaurants within walking distance. Crabby Bills was our favorite with the upbeat atmosphere, live music, and garlic shrimp. We traveled about 40 minutes to Fort Desoto Park to check out the fishing piers and we were not disappointed. We hooked enough fish for a perfect fish fry that evening. The condo is tucked away in the small sleepy town of Indian Rock, but we only had to drive 15 minutes to Clearwater Beach for the more touristy activities and party scene. Regardless of how we spent our days, returning to the comfortable and well maintained condo was always relaxing and refreshing.
Pros:
*Clean and modern condo
*Updated Kitchen
*New electronics (The kids loved the large Smart TV)
*Enough space to accommodate me, my wife, mother-in-law, and our 3 kids
*Plenty of beach gear (towels, chairs, etc.)
*Laundry on premises (a must when you mix children and sand)

Cozy and home like!
This place was very lovely as it was home like and cozy. It is equipped with all you need to prepare meals. For the beach 🏖 the were chairs, umbrellas and towels.
Nicely decorated. Will definitely stay there again and tell friends and family. 👍🏽

Have stayed here numerous times and always leave refreshed and enthusiastic about coming back. The apartment does not directly face the Gulf but is yards from it and we enjoyed the seclusion. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. This is a conscientious owner who always responded to our needs.

I think this place was fine for the price. The place wasn’t quite as crisp and nice as the pictures show. A noise machine is recommended to cover up the music from across the street (which wasn’t horribly loud or horribly late - just annoying). The location is nice in that it is walkable to a CVS which had good grocery supplies and there are several restaurants right there.

I will start off by saying that Paula was immediate to respond to all of the emails I sent her.
Our stay started off great with Paula allowing us access to the place before the agreed upon check in time. This was great because we had arrived very early and were exhausted!
Upon arrival, the floors were very dirty and had loose change scattered around. After showering, our feet were immediately black from walking on the tile floors. The shower had mold and the floor in the shower was very slimy. I contacted Paula and she immediately responded saying she would send her cleaner back the next morning. The cleaner arrived the next morning, but only had supplies to clean the shower.
My sister found a roach in her bedroom that I thought was dead. Unfortunately, when I went to pick it up, it began scurrying around the room with me desperately trying to kill it. I messaged Paula and she scheduled for the pest guys to come the next day. We are from Iowa so we are not used to cockroaches unless you live in very dirty conditions. After the pest guys came, we continued to find 3 more bugs (2 of them roaches) in the kitchen. I reached out to Paula and she apologized immensely.
We could not figure out how to get the TV to work. It had 4 remotes and my 17 year old niece could not even make sense of it. Paula noted there was an outage due to weather, but the next day it still wasn't working. She sent the cleaner back out who determined the cable box was bad. We went to WalMart and purchased a Roku which Paula asked if we would be willing to leave for future guests.
Overall, Paula was a very responsive host, but for the money, we were vastly disappointed. This was my first vacation in 10 years and my sister and nieces first time to the ocean.

Independents Square Stay
I have been all over Florida and have stayed in alot of places but this one will be our family's annually stay for our summer trip. Why? Because everything is there for you as in cooking, kitchen,bathroom, beds, and the views your own private beach access. The hole experience for my wife and kids was on another level and they loved it.

Though the condo doesn’t face the beach the ocean is steps away which is a must with kids and having to lug items down to the beach. We loved that there were chairs, towels, beach toys all provided. Everything we needed to enjoy a day playing in the sand. If you are a light sleeper a sound machine/white noise app is a must as the traffic and music from Crabby Bills is very loud and walls aren’t insulated. It didn’t bother our trip, but might be helpful to other families. We loved that there was a washer and dryer so we could pack less clothes and also wash our swim suits. The place was clean and the owner was quick to respond when I emailed with a question before our trip. We definitely recommend this place.

Condo very short walk to beach. Per listing beach chairs were provided. But failed to say they are all beat up and mostly broken. One chair appeared to have blood on headrest. There was a wall hanger for a broom and mop that when I put broom on it it pulled out of the wall.woke up one morning and bathroom ceiling vent had dropped from ceiling. 2cnd bedroom has security light shining in through window at night. Condo faces road could hear traffic all night long. Horns honking engines racing. Probably leaving bar across the street. Plus side...with in walking distance of restaraunts and drug store. Easy to get to from Tampa airport. Was very clean.

Perfect beachside retreat!
My family of four absolutely loved this place! Perfect for our three night stay. Beach right behind the building, awesome ice cream and taco cantina right across the street. Queen bed was comfy, kids loved the decorations. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful
We rented this place on spur of the moment and what was available, we usually stay at Madiera beach... Any how, some of the reviews made us worry, like for the noisy bar across the street? Wasn’t bad at all, just simple solo guitar w soft hymns, all shuts down by 10pm every night, the street noise was a bit loud but we just put on our fan sleep app on our phones and it sounded it right out... And for no balcony? We actually found it great becuz it made us get out and sit out on the beach instead of sitting out having cocktails hanging inside the condo etc... And for the fridge? There’s a bran spanking new one, and they provided ice... The place was actually immaculate, very clean, had every single supply we could think of, endless bath and beach towels, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, tons of beach chairs, beach umbrella & floats, even coffee and salt & pepper... We found it perfect, and yes, there’s just one simple flight of stairs too... The walk to the beach was literally less then 2 minutes, it’s very quiet and not overly crowded, we also met many ppl that were staying there, very welcoming and friendly... Oh and for Gulf Blvd where it’s located? It’s only a 2 lane road verses Gulf Blvd down on Madiera beach, which is 6 lanes wide and very dangerous to cross... Also lots of great restaurants, ice cream shops and CVS, all in walking distance... The furniture was great, tho the room w the day bed could definitely use better mattresses, they were very springy, not much support but it worked... Anyway, for our overall stay, we loved it and definitely plan on returning, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us❤️

Would never recommend anyone to stay here!
Not a very nice place to stay. Not very clean and very uncomfortable unit to stay in. Bedroom and bathroom was exceptionally small. Mold was growing in the shower. The unit has a nice kitchen but appliances that are not compatible (dishwasher and cooking utensils) with the unit. Living room was ok, but so much sand tracked in due to the lack of a shower when coming off the beach.
The unit is across the street from a very good restaurant, but they have live music every night from 8:00 till 11. Hard to get a good nights sleep.
On the positive side… Great access to the beach and several restaurants.
Will never stay here again and would never recommend to my friends.

Nice little beach condo
Had a great stay overall. Location good for beach, walking, and trolley. Lots of beach toys, chairs, and towels. If you are sensitive to noise it is not the place for you. We used white noise at night for my daughter. The windows seem very thin and you can hear everything outside. Also, would have been nice to be able to open the windows for fresh air but no screens and windows didn't seem very sturdy. Overall great stay. Would stay here again.

oceanside retreat
Listed as ocean side but it is a short walk from the gulf. Very noisy location with bands nightly at crabby bills. Walk ability is good as far as restaurants but traffic is pretty heavy on gulf blvd. Unit will technically sleep 7 but we had adults and one 10yr old and it was cramped.

Great location but no view from the apartment
Excellent access to IRB and surrounding restaurants. Some may be put off by the noise of neighboring bar but we were not. The unit itself is clean and in pretty decent condition. The fridge could stand to be replaced but otherwise very clean and functional. Especially nice were all the kitchen items and beach chairs, umbrella, etc. to make your stay very comfortable. Neighbors were very nice and we very much enjoyed our stay.

No Bugs!
Very nice location. Medium sized apartment in the back. The unit was very clean except for the stained up old fridge which honestly my party of 5 thought looked horrible. You have to walk up several steps to get up to this unit and there's no light outside the door (blown out) so getting in in the dark was not fun some nights. BUT this is still getting max stars because we had a blast & this place was really nice and cute. It had everything we needed except for a measuring cup LOL if it was there we couldn't find it. Lots and lots of items you need in the kitchen, tons of local menus, big spacious closets with extra blankets and board games and toys to take down to the beach along with boogie boards, a box fan, sweeper, washer/dryer. Everything!
You go down the stairs and walk alongside this place to get to the ocean. It has a really nice path. It was quiet until Friday and then you could hear crabby bills across the street until about 2 in the morning. You can exit your unit and seriously walk all kinds of places and get food or go to the store you really don't have to have a car in this immediate area which was good. I recommend going straight across the street to ready set yo! They have some really good drinks. The air conditioning works great in this place it kept us cold all week. The wifi worked well. The biggest YAY of them all is that there was no bugs! I am always petrified of staying places because I do not want any bugs at all and if I see one I am really freaking out and I assure you there were no bugs here which is a huge relief. There was always someone parked in the unloading spot which was a little frustrating because we had to take all of our stuff down by the road to load and unload so we thank the black truck for that frustration. But other than that it was great and we would surely be back. It's definitely worth it for the price. never had to interact with evolve so I'm not sure how that would have been but everything else was good.
