Lighting is not great--could def use more lamps in the living room area; and it would be AWESOME if all the bulbs weren't those bright fluorescent LEDs. Also: It's certainly not the most bug-proof house--I had to spend the first day or so killing ants in the kitchen (I bought ant traps) getting some giant june bugs out of the bedroom upstairs, and tromping around with the flyswatter stalking houseflies. But it's an up north cabin, so if this doesn't sound cool to you, adjust your expectations! Kitchen is pretty well stocked with dishes, glassware, barware, utenstils, serving dishes, pots and pans--though maybe a couple more essentials would be nice: like a bag of sugar and a bottle of olive oil or something? That's pretty standard in my experience. Oh, and some folding lounge chairs for the beach would be awesome; I've never been to a lakehouse rental without them--but there were lots of plastic adirondacks. Overall, though, it's a really nice place at a good price point, and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is freaking amazing.

Kitchen was great for home cooking. Check in super easy and convenient…awesome beach my entire family enjoyed our weeks stay… host was friendly and very accessible… would recommend the property to anyone interested in a Michigan vacation

Overall, great property and stay. The large beachfront was unbeatable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on Lake Huron.

Location is wonderful, right on the beach. Exterior has a lot of charm, porch swing was used often. The train runs through the back of the property twice a day--the kids loved it. Unfortunately, cleanliness fell short. There were several safety and maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Such as loose or broken deck boards, several broken outdoor chairs and a missing grease trap for the grill. Also, the master bedroom shower door didn't stay closed. With several rainy days we were unable to use the screen porch because of a leaky roof. With further up keep, property has potential.
