Had a great family vacation in the perfect location. House is as exactly described in the most ideal location. Our family has been visiting Rincon for twenty years, this was another visit that did not disappoint! Had a big beautiful beach while we were there also. Valerie was very accommodating and easy to work with! Thank you for sharing your beach house with us! Would definitely recommend this rental property!

Perfect house for Family and Friends. Great location and perfect little uncrowded beach behind house. For surfing, there is a beginner friendly wave that will break behind the house. Perfect for kids. More advanced surf spots are a short 5-10 minute drive north. Would highly recommend this house for Families. Close to everything you will need in a great little neighborhood.

The property's location is ideal, with the patio gate going directly to the beach. The house was very nice, and everything was working fine. The only thing probably lacking is a dishwasher if you eat a lot at home. The beach in front of the house is more protected wave-wise than nearby beaches. And the nearby downtown of Rincon has a lot of fun shops, bars, and restaurants.

We've been going to the Rincon area for 10+ years now. This was one of the best places we've every stayed. Good location, clean, well appointed house.

Can’t say enough about how great our stay was. The home features a slice of the best beach in PR just outside the door. The comfort of two levels for eight of us gave us enough room to disperse around the house. Beds were comfy. The weather was perfect and rarely used the air conditioners available in every room. Abundant beach chairs and towels make you feel right at home. A convenient walk to the Econo supermarket helped fill the fridge. riccominiBakery

We loved this home and the location. It was right on the beach! The swimming and beach walking was excellent. We were able to walk to many locations, stores, food trucks, downtown, bakery, etc. The home was very spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was very safe and easy to walk around in. We had a small group, but this house could hold more people comfortably. The sunsets were exceptional. I highly recommend this place. Valerie contacted me about pre-travel arrangements which were very helpful. I hope we can come back soon.

We had a great time. Location is great. The house could of been a bit cleaner. All the amenities are there. The host was responsive and informative. Would book again.

It was a stay in paradise, house was right on the water. Super clean. Ocean sounds lulled us to sleep in super comfy rooms. It had everything we needed and more. Also, the area suggestions were great.

Our family had a nice stay at Mark and Valerie’s beachfront home. It is in a nice location close to restaurants, coffee shops and the town square. The only big issue we had was not having hot water for almost 2 days. I think the issue should have and could have been rectified a little sooner than it had. The manager did not come until late the 2nd day which delayed the ultimate easy fix on the morning of day 3. The owners were quick to respond but they don’t live there so it depended on their manager to respond. We didn’t find the kitchen pots and pans to be of the best quality so we didn’t cook at all. The coffee pot was quite basic and a bit outdated. Location is the key reason to rent this home the sounds of the ocean are peaceful and the views are phenomenal. We had a relaxing stay after we got the hot water running! The bottom line is we would rent this home again as we now know how to get the hot water working!! Overall a positive experience

1 week stay during Xmas with wife and sons. Perfect location, could actually fish off patio. Kitchen was fully stocked for making meals. Within walking distance to downtown. Both owner and property manager very responsive. Highly recommended stay.

Lovely, comfortable home close to everything.

Overall not a bad experience, other than having to call the property manager and just trying to ask a rude person for some assistance but the actual owner of the house Valerie is great and very informative next time I hope to just address any questions or concerns with her.

We enjoyed a fantastic holiday week at Mark and Valerie’s beachside house. I think my husband’s first impression when he walked onto the terrace says it best, “Wow! Just wow!” All that separates a guest from the Caribbean Sea are beach chairs, some curious lizards, a protective wall, and a jumble of boulders. No pictures can convey the setting with palm tree fronds framing the ocean view, colorful sunsets, and pelicans floating up and down the coastline. The house is minutes away by car from premier surfing destinations like Steps Beach, Maria’s Beach, and Domes. If you can tear yourself away from the beach and swimming at the house, don’t forget to check out the bookstore in town, the yummy bakery and two excellent grocery stores (Econo and Coop) close by, as well as Mar Azul Surf Shop for renting boards. There’s also a nice little reef to explore with a snorkel and mask right in front of the house. We had every creature comfort we needed including great air conditioning, cable television, a new washer dryer, extra linens and beach towels, a cooler for outings, and even portable beach chairs. The four large bedrooms slept our party of eight comfortably. Great kitchen with tables both indoors and outdoors for family meals. Communication with the hosts and caretaker was great.

This property is excellent and the location is great! It needs a little maintenance as one of the ac units stopped working.

I chose this property because it was right on the beach. We were a family of 6 who came together to celebrate our Mother’s 75th Bday. Even our mom said this was her best birthday ever and that made me feel very happy 2 chose this home. The house is very spacious and clean. It had beach chairs, umbrellas and such. Beds were also comfortable which is a plus for me. Grocery store, bakery and town within walking distance or a short drive. I will definitely rent this house again next time I am home 2 visit my family.

Right on the beach! One of our favorite beaches was the one just a few steps to the right of the front door. The house fit our family of 7 spaciously. The grocery store and bakery were minutes away.

We had a family of 9 and had plenty of room. Kitchen was set up nicely. We were able to prepare meals in the kitchen. We only used the first floor kitchen. There is indoor seating, but we mainly sat outside. There is an outdoor table and some beach chairs. AC kept the unit cool. The grocery store is less than 1 mile away. There is fruit stand even closer. Rincon is a quieter part of the Island which we really liked. We could hear the ocean waves from inside the house which was a great way to fall asleep. Weren’t able to see sunsets due to the clouds, but on a clear night one should definitely see the sunsets. It’s a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from San Juan. The water is not very hot but definitely comfortable. There are no paper products so be sure to stop at store prior to arriving. Also, many extra beach items which we never had time to use. There is decent reef and snorkeling directly in front of the house. We would love to return.

We traveled with a group of 7 and stayed for 11 nights. The house was spacious and allowed everyone privacy if they wanted it. It was clean and in a great location - close to town, a grocery store, restaurants, etc. The small beach at the house was very private and the they provided beach chairs, towels, toys and umbrellas. The owners were very easy to work with and were flexible when we had travel delays. We all had a great time and will stay there again when we come back to Rincon!

The set up for bedrooms and bathrooms is perfect. Plenty of space to accommodate a multi-generational family get away. The beach was literally at the doorstep. Location is easy for restaurants and grocery shopping. I would definitely recommend and return.

We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! The beach house is in a perfect swim location with beautiful beach just down the steps!

Great home right on the best stretch of beach in Rincon. All sand on shore and 100m out before some incredible reef for snorkeling. Walking distance to downtown and tons of food options.

The 4 bedrooms were laid out well. Beds were comfortable. It took us a day to figure out that the one A/C remote actually controlled both A/C units upstairs. The kayak does take up a lot of space upstairs, so we didn't use that living room area at all. There were tons of chairs and beach supplies that we really enjoyed using. The beach umbrella could use an upgrade or companion. We couldn't actually walk to the public beach while carrying supplies as the tide doesn't seem to get low enough to get around a section of rocks between here and there. But we made do with the space out front and enjoyed the convenience of our own patio and bathrooms and A/C. Tons of pots, pans, and dishware in the main level kitchen. The upstairs fridge was not plugged in and smelled bad, but we did not need it anyway. The dryer requires careful use of the provided pliers in order to grab the Start button and twist it to run a load. Plenty of bath and beach towels, but the only washcloths are the kitchen sponges. The grill and stove and oven each worked fine when we used them. The water does have a high amount of chlorine, which is great to know it's safe, but you may want to fill a pitcher of water and leave it uncovered for 12 hours to let the chemical dissipate before you drink it. We enjoyed the Tip Top Ice cream a block to the south on a daily basis. This was a perfect layout for our two families of 4 and an awesome location. We miss falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. Would love to return someday!

Great house right on a beach. Easy access to Ricons town center. Easier walks to a supermarket and food truck corral. House was clean and the rental process was very smooth.

Really enjoyed staying at this property it’s walking distance to several places to eat can’t beat the ocean front view in the morning and evening and of course the world class surfing in Rincon

The house was beautiful and right on the water. From anywhere in the house you can hear the waves breaking. Out the front door there was a patio with a table and chairs to eat at between two giant palm trees - really charming! Just out the front gate was a sandy beach 6-20 ft wide depending on the tide. You can walk along that beach about a 1/4 mile north or a 1/2 mile south. Everyone had lots of fun swimming in the ocean or tanning on the beach! Hot water for the shower was from solar water heater, and was warmest in mid-afternoon - never got super hot, though. The faucet water had a strong taste for some of our crowd, so we got $1 gallons of water at the local grocery stores. We mostly shopped for groceries at Econo, which is a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the house, really convenient! There is also a great food truck eatery a 10 minute walk away. Drove to the local public beach/boat ramp, Tres Palmas, to snorkel at the marine sanctuary just beyond the boat ramp. Saw a few sea turtles each time we went.
