トイレの蓋がちゃんと開けられないほど狭く、風呂も体の大きな人にはしんどいほど狭い
エレベーターがないので、４階はきついし、階段も急で怖い

外からみた感じは、ちょっと不安でしたが、スタッフの方の対応が良かった。
最低限必要なものはあるし、エアコンも効いていて、素泊まり目的で滞在する分には快適だった。
階段が急で3階に上がるのは少し大変だった。荷物が多いと大変。

The staff is polite and helpful, although you have to be back before 10 PM --- do not hang out with your friends and colleagues too late. The room is clean. This place is very close to the Kyoto University campus and there's Family Mart right at the corner.
Close at 10 PM --- although sometimes I return by 10:20 it is still open, but it is very easy to hang out till 10. The utilities are old in the room and the overall building size is small --- narrow stairs, small rooms. The shower time is 6:30-10:00 PM which is not convenient, although you can still take a shower after 10, it's not suggested.

The location was where I expected it to be.
The hotel does not offer vacancy, despite advertising. There was a place available to park on the side of the house, but the roof was about to collapse, so it was recommended by the employee herself that I park in the paid parking in front.
The property has tatami and non-tatami rooms available on the Booking.com website. I booked without tatami, because I find it uncomfortable to sleep on the floor. But upon arrival, I was given the tatami room and told there was no other room available. I complained on Booking.com and after 3 days they changed my room.
The room is not comfortable, just acceptable. I do not recommend.

we did not like that there was a curfew of being back by 11.30 each night. but the lady at reception was vey kind and let us stay out later one night. if you ask her to help, she will.

cleaning service is really good
I don’t like the unreasonable rules of the hotel to come back before 10:30 pm and cannot go outside before 7:00 am. When I heard that rules, I would like to cancel my booking. But I didn’t have the chance to find another hotel at that moment. I would like to suggest the hotel to change that stupid rules because we are visitors and we are staying at hotel… (not in jail). :(
The location of the hotel is very far from Kyoto Station (around 45 minutes by bus). :(
Moreover, they didn’t provide even the electric kettle in the room. For example, if you want to drink water, go to downstairs even you are staying at 3rd floor (without any elevator).
