This house has everything. Literally, everything you would need! The owners have thought through making sure you have a great experience and they were great to communicate with. We will be back!

My husband, along with our 2 sons, met our daughter and her fiancé , who live in Connecticut, at this home in Vermont to celebrate a belated Christmas. Steve and Michelle were kind enough to leave up their Christmas decorations/tree for us. The basement party area was a HUGE hit with everyone. There were many pinball, air hockey, and shuffleboard competitions throughout our stay. We even found the poker table and ended up playing Texas Hold ‘Em EVERY evening- which we have never done. Most of us had never even played it before, but it was a blast hanging around that table every night enjoying each other’s company. The communication with the host was excellent. I really appreciated the quick response. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could imagine, and more! We’ve stayed at MANY vacation homes, and this was one of the most well-stocked kitchens we’ve had. It almost seemed like it was their home, with all of the spices, etc.. that were available. The beds were all comfortable, there were plenty of linens, etc… nice laundry room. Plenty of room to spread out in the house. We enjoyed the little area with the table in the kitchen. We used it to do a Vermont puzzle. Many conveniences were also provided- there was an ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap at every sink, trash bags, etc… they even had an unopened bag of coffee there for us! So nice. I haven’t found those conveniences at other places. Usually there will be one roll of paper towels, a roll of TP in each bathroom, etc… it can get expensive to supply the home. I really appreciated that! The house is a bit away from activities. There are a few restaurants and shops in town. We ended up spending more time cooking and hanging out in the house, which was fine. Spent a few days out, exploring other towns. I misunderstood the QLLA ( lodge ) rules. Any time we wanted to go there, even to use the gym, it was $17 per person. My son did use the gym, and he said it was adequate. We didn’t ski because we realized that we weren’t prepared for that, but I would think it might get pricey to use the QLLA fit other activities. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. It was a GREAT place! Highly recommend. Plus you get a bonus- a daily visit from Holly, the Saint Bernard next door! Lol

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The condition and roominess of the home was great for the 7 of us. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the kitchen was very well stocked and a central location to the dining room and family room. The trails near the home were great for hiking and Quechee and Woodstock are very close by. We would certainly consider staying here again. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

The home was everything we were expecting! It was clean and well taken care of. Rooms were large and spacious and the home had a warm, comforting feel. The kids (and adults) loved the game rooms in the basement. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and afternoon cocktail hour. We also enjoyed the deck and gas fire pit on chilly evenings. Steve and Michelle were always available and quick to respond to any of our questions. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and peaceful. We spent most of our time in Quechee, Woodstock and the surrounding area—there is so much to do! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home! This house has everything you could want or need—from fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, maxed out basement with pool table, ping pong, pinball and more, large deck and screened porch, great location for walking with easy access to hiking trails, and very clean! Michelle and Steve were awesome hosts and available to answer any questions. Truly a wonderful home. Would definitely recommend highly!

The house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. The kitchen in particular had everything you could want or need. We were two families with kids ranging from 7-17. Ample sleeping space and quiet places for all. The screen porch and deck were lovely in the evening. The kids LOVED all the games which also included a new air hockey table and pinball machine. There were also plenty of board games and books to read if that is more your speed. Owners and neighbors were extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely rent again if we go back to the area.

Beautiful. Like staying in a friend’s home. Easy check in, truly clean, wonderful amenities to keep children of all ages and adults fully entertained for a long long time. I only regret not having more time to enjoy the house. Steve was very supportive in getting us settled and ensuring we have all we need. It was a perfect stay. Thank you, Steve!

My college friends and I go away for one weekend a year - usually at a house in the New England area. This year, we selected this great place in Quechee, VT. We loved it! The house is awesome, especially the basement, as it was everything we needed. Golden Tee. College football on the TV. Shuffle board. Ping pong. Plus, the hosts were very accommodating and helpful along the way. It's a great place, and I'd recommend it highly!

Golf trip with friends, Quechee club has 2 beautiful courses. Both very well maintained with beautiful scenery. House was great for group with many beds for all. Beautiful deck and porch area for post round cocktail.

My family and I had a great stay at Steve and Michelle’s beautiful home. The house was as advertised and lived up to all the 5 star reviews. The house had plenty of amenities and room for our family to spread out. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

The home is clean, bright, tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you need -- but not packed with stuff you don't! The house is five minutes up the mountain from town with easy access to groceries etc. Steve was a gem to work with. He was extremely responsive and unexpectedly honest about the fact that the prior tenants had damaged the ping pong table. While I could see that scuff marks he was referring to -- in truth they would not have impacted our ability to use the table had we wanted to. Steve's candor is an example of the integrity with which he operates. My family and I will definitely return when we are on the area.

It looks just like the photos: expansive, clean, pretty, and in the woods very close to hiking trails. Steve contacted us plenty to make sure all was ok. THe kitchen is fully stocked: we made dinner there 4 of the 7 nights and there is lots of seating. It has a fun basement with a pool table, shuffleboard, and large TV. THe main floor had a TV as well. INternet reception depended on where you were in the house and was overall very good. THere were only two full bathrooms, and another half bathroom which worked for us, but if you have a very big crowd (the house can accommodate a fairly large crowd) it would require shower coordination. It is very close to Queechee gorge, Woodstock, and hiking. We will try and rent this next year.

Very comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out, and an almost limitless number of games, activities, and excursions available both on- and off-property. The town of Quechee and immediate surroundings are picturesque and peaceful, and shopping for necessary supplies is simple and convenient.

Steve was an excellent host and was responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. We would definitely go back!
