Amazing house with awesome lakefront views. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and the overall experience was great.

Amazing view. House was clean and warm, and is much larger than it looks from the main photo. We really enjoyed the updated kitchen and made good use of the new washer/dryers. Mike the host was excellent, and even made the garage available for us to park cars.

We love this Newport property! Our family has been vacationing here for 5 years and our children and grandchildren have many wonderful memories from our stays. The house is lovely, comfortable and well equipped and the location and views are spectacular! The closeness to Canada is an added feature, we’ve enjoyed exploring the nearby towns. Thanks Mike for making us feel so welcome, We’d all love to return!

When we arrived the property was clean and the waterfront was beautiful. Having stayed in the area for the last 10 years on vacation I was familiar with the area and was the reason we wanted to stay here. Close to the bike trail, downtown and great area to be able to go for morning runs.
Mike lives next door so if we needed anything he was right there when he was home. My recommendation would be mow the grass weekly so that it might control the ant problem outside. Make sure the cleaners are cleaning under the beds… wasn’t very happy with that, more towels, more than one roll of toilet paper, paper towels in the bathrooms for large groups. Steak knives, blender would be great.
The house was definitely the right size for our group of 8 and would probably rent again if we were able to get a Saturday to Saturday check in. We are very easy and are able to adapt to anything so everything in this review is constructive criticism no hard feelings. Thank you Prospect Acres OCR Team
