My friends and I got a house last year and we enjoyed it and we decided to go back this year. We are definitely going to be planning more stays in the future. We didn’t have any issues and the place was clean and we enjoyed the house.

just not what i expected

First impression not great. When you step into the entry door, you realize that there are literally holes in the trim that lead to the outside porch and the door leaks water very bad if it rains. In all of the corners were a ton of dead bugs and spiders. The washer and dryer are also within the entry and when we tried to use the dryer to dry our swimming clothes and towels, the knob very easily came off of the dryer, and it was non- functioning.
The kitchen was newly renovated with pretty much everything you would need, and was nicely shared by a large living area with a TV and fireplace. We quickly found, however, that the very old and dirty curtains that were supposed to cover the two sets of sliding glass doors in these rooms were not big enough to cover. Therefore, everybody at the swimming pool next door could see into our house in the evening. There were also no locks on those sliding glass doors.
The two bathrooms were fairly clean, but very dated and dark. The small skylight in the largest bathroom was ridiculously filthy and covered with bugs, and it leaked when it rained. We found that the skylight in the kitchen also leaked.
The beds were OK but the box springs and mattresses were all on bed frames with wheels, so if they weren’t locked just right, they moved while you were trying to sleep at night. Also, the blinds in two of the three bedrooms were basically see-through.
Probably won’t stay here again unless major repairs are done.

Cabin 12 was beautiful! The inside was very spacious and very nice. It looked like everything was pretty newly renovated. Being right next to the pool was the best! Would 100% stay here again.

Definitely like staying with island club . The rental property needs a little work though. There is no cord on the dryer , so we could not use it . Not a lot of utensils in the kitchen. Refrigerator door needs racks so you can utilize the area for storage. The personal on the Island Club staff are very happy to help , and are very courteous. Thank you Dottie!!!

I liked the location. We had a good time partying here. The cabin was rough though. Nothing was clean from the carpet making your feet black to the dishes and silverware stuck together with grease. Maintenence was an issue too. The ceiling fan sounded horrrible, there was only one screen left in the entire cabin and the toilets barely flush. They need to get back on top of their staff and pull the quality up.

this was in a perfect location! I only have one small complaint, and it is that there were no linens. we were not able to get them until the next day. However management brought us the linens in the morning and then took the charge off of our account! overall I would definitely recommend the island club to anyone, and as a matter of fact I already have.

I recently hosted my sister's bachlorette party at Island Club Rentals and stayed in rental number 12. Overall the cabin was clean and perfect to host the party. We were right by the pool and was the PERFECT location. In the morning everyone goes to the pool to drink and layout so it was like one big party. The staff was kind and accodating however it was difficult to get ahold of someone when we needed supplies for the cabin. The beds were comfortable and did their job but they could use an update. Island Club Rentals had their own personal taxi service that took us to the bar for a $3 charge which was not bad. I apprechaited them letting us be roudy and drink on the patio and display our decorations even though some of them were not kid friendly. My guess is that on the weekends it is more the party crowd and the week days are more for families. Overall it was a great time and everyone had a blast. The only issue I had was I felt it was overpriced to stay there. It cost me close to $2,000 to stay there for 2 nights. I think that cost should have been cut in half. If it had updates and was remodeled then I could see justifying the $2,000 but for now it is over priced.

Everything was wonderful except. House #12 looks like it gets pretty beat up compared to all the other houses my friends had. Our toilet broke, the step on front porch broke, and the kitchen/dining table was broke and about to fall over. Toilet and step was fixed. But I felt we spent alot of time calling Dottie with issues.
