we had a wonderful time in this Bass River home! my husband Daughter, son in law and my two grandson's both two and one and our dog, had the best time! great yard with fence all around so no worrying about little ones wondering off. clean, pretty, and everything you needed. Trina was a great host! so close to everything. can't wait to come back!

Everything you need is available to you … from the margarita glasses to all the cooking spices. Really enjoyed the large deck, outdoor shower and fantastic fenced in yard with gorgeous lawn. Location is great - close to beaches, shopping, miniature golf and plenty of dining options.

We stayed here the middle of September to the middle of October to enjoy the fall on the Cape. This house was in a very quiet neighborhood, half a mile from the beach and in a great location. It was so easy for us to make day trips all over. The kitchen was very modern and well stocked. We brought our own sheets and blankets but they had towels. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pup. They also have a really nice deck with table, chairs, umbrella and outside shower. Communication was excellent any time we had a question.

We loved staying here with our dog. He enjoyed the fenced in yard and everything was within walking distance, including the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had a few cookouts in the backyard. We drove to neighboring towns to do some shopping and dining. Highly recommend!

We booked this last minute. Worked out perfectly especially with our dogs, the fenced in yard was so convenient. It was a short walk to the beach which was great too. Owners were super responsive and nice, I would love to go back!

THIS WAS OUR SECOND YEAR AND WE PLAN TO RETURN NEXT YEAR. QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD FAMILY ORIENTED. EVEN HAD A VISIT FROM LOCAL WILD TURKEYS. GREAT FOR BIKING AROUND. OUR HOST WAS RESPONSIVE TO ANY RECOMMENDATIONS WE MADE.
EVEN BETTER IS THE CLOSE LOCATION TO CAFFE GELATO BERTINI FOR GELATO (THEY TRAINED IN ITALY). THIS HAS BECOME A NIGHTLY VACATION RITUAL.

The house is adorable and we were so grateful to have a fenced in backyard and the ability to bring our dogs! That honestly made the trip for us and easier to handle the small inconveniences.
Location is great, too. It's a quiet side street in a nice area. Able to take the kiddo for a walk and not worry about getting run down by traffic.
However, I found food remnants in the plate and cutlery drawers, vacuumed repeatedly and did the laundry before leaving. If we're being charged a cleaning fee it would be nice if they did a more thorough job before new guests checked in.
I left behind some kid-friendly sippy cups, spoons and a water gallon jug for the beach!
Overall we would definitely stay there again - the fenced in yard and dog allowance is a HUGE advantage and extremely rare down the Cape. Much appreciated!

We had a great time here. The yard was nice. Location was key. The beach was close and fun. Letting us take our pet with us to your home made the vacation extremely relaxing.. The house was roomy, clean. The deck was a great addition to hang out on. The neighborhood was quiet. And nice. Thank you again!!

This home is as promised. I rent homes on Cape Cod every year and this home rates highly by my standards. The beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is great and never ran out of hot water. There is a dishwasher and every kitchen item you could want. The fenced in backyard was excellent for our dog. You get morning sun on back deck with great sun in afternoon for lounging outside as we did every afternoon. The location is truly awesome, a few streets off of Rte 28 so you don't hear much road traffic but close enough to literally walk to the liquor store, The Pancake Man, Scapicchio's Bakery and the Caffe Gelato Bertini (which we did twice). 2 grocery stores nearby within 2 to 3 minutes drive. Cape Cod Creamery is just down the road short 3 minute drive. There is incredible conservation land trail hiking within 5 to 10 minutes of the home or just walk the awesome neighborhood down to the beach. We rented kayaks on the Swan River from Cape Cod Waterways which is 3 miles away (5 min drive on Rte 28) and truly had a blast kayaking to the beach and kayaking to Swan Pond and yes, we saw Swans, Osprey and so much more. We drove 20 minutes to Burgess Park and played Disc Golf (bring your own discs). We visited Scargo Tower and all the fabulous beaches nearby. The home itself had everything we could want for dishware, pots/pans and utensils. There was not one thing we looked for that we couldn't find. Great dining area and super comfy couches and chairs. At one point we had 4 people and a dog in the home and were very comfortable with space. They have weekly lawn care. The garbage pickup is right at the house, so it's easy to check out with no concerns for what to do with the garbage. Everything about this rental was easy and convenient. Hosts Trina and Scott were very available and answered all our questions before travel. We reached out once during our stay with a simple quirky question and they immediately responded. I will rent this again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a great home for my family and my dog!

Highly recommend! We brought our dogs and this property was perfect! The property has a perfect location. Very close to accessible beaches, shops, restaurants and other activities! Cape Cod - Fall Trip
Highly recommend! We brought our dogs and this property was perfect! The property has a perfect location. Very close to accessible beaches, shops, restaurants and other activities! On a cold and rainy Memorial Day weekend, the one thing we could count on was this lovely home. It was perfect for our group, and we found it very clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. The kids were overjoyed with the Legos, and we had fun putting a puzzle together. Thanks for the opportunity to stay here. We would love to come back again.

Great vacation with the pets
Property has an excellent location, close to pretty much everything that you can think of.
We were traveling with our dog and that was perfect choice for us, fenced yard , green grass our puppy really enjoyed spending his time outside. The house itself was equipped with all necessities, very functional kitchen, comfortable beds and Trina is a super nice host.
We literally couldn’t find a better place to stay with our pup.

Had a wonderful week in this lovely little house in South Yarmouth! The house was wonderful and had everything I needed! It was close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to stores and restaurants and pretty much anything you need! It was especially relaxing sitting out on the deck in the mornings and afternoons, enjoying the peacefulness of the cape. I will definitely be back!

Be sure to have some of the best homemade ice cream you ever had at the Cape Cod Creamery.

Great Getaway to Explore Cape Cod
This was our first trip to Cape Cod and this was the perfect house for our family of 5. It comfortably fit all of us and is certainly roomy enough to sleep 8. The fenced in yard is perfect for a dog and/or little ones. WiFi, washer & dryer, microwave & clean fridge. Overall, we thought the place was clean & the price was reasonable for our getaway.

Wonderful stay with our dogs!
My husband and I trekked to the Cape for a short pandemic-safe baby moon trip with our two dogs - we had never been to South Yarmouth before. The cottage was great - fully equipped, clean, in a quiet friendly neighborhood. Loved the outdoor shower, easy parking, and the fenced-in yard. It was a nice 20 minute walk for us down to some lovely quiet beaches. (You can also take a less than 5 minute drive and park at one of the public beach parking lots.) We also ate at Gerardi's Cafe down the road for an excellent real Italian meal. This cottage would be great for single or couple without kids/with or without pets, but also looks great for families with kids too. We hope to come back again when our son is born!

Great vacation!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It’s in a great location, close to the beach and several restaurants. The fenced in yard is perfect for groups traveling with pets. We hope to return again.

This was my first time using VRBO and I made a great choice in selecting this house. It was in a perfect location and was so well stocked with everything you could need while visiting the Cape. Scott was a terrific host, too!

We were very happy with this very well appointed, cute house near the Bass River. The house has been recently renovated. We were able to walk our kayak (10 minute walk) to Windmill Beach every day of our stay.
The manager Scott is helpful without being intrusive. I am so grateful for his help in mailing us keys that we forgot at the house.

Reasonably nice
Good-size cottage, the owner was very responsive, the cottage was well-stocked with everything you need. But it could use a little more maintenance / upkeep and cleaning. (ie the AC units are old and loud, so its hard to sleep with them on, there was dog hair on the couches, a few minor repair/cleaning things.)

The house was just what we needed for our family vacation: the size, location & amenities met our needs. The only complaint we had was the house didn’t have enough towels Or beach chairs like it had advertised.

Property manager was quick to respond and helpful. Great yards for dogs. House is conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf, go-karts, batting cages, ice cream, and only a 15 min walk to the beach. The cute cottage is well equipped and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Property was clean and as advertised. It was very special that we could bring our dogs and the fenced in yard was very convenient. The house had everything we needed, was a nice walk to the beach each day. Scott was very accommodating and we enjoyed our short stay. Would recommend this property.
