I loved everything about Cocolhu, the hosts were such kind and caring people and my stay was absolutely unforgettable. I had the most incredible time staying here, everything was comfortable, beautiful, and all necessities were present! I wish I stayed longer, I've never had a better and more unique experience staying anywhere else. Thank you Cocolhu!

Pleasantly surprise by how clean this location was considering that it is in the middle of the jungle.

Loved the host's friendly dogs and amenities provided.
It was a bit difficult to park, and the lock system was stressful. Getting in and out was a process that often took 5-10 minutes, even after knowing what to do. Getting the lock to fit should be easier.

The dome is very cool and the fact of being isolated made of our trip a relaxing and peaceful experience.

The property is really private, a great experience for couples that wants to run from the crowds and the neighbors.
Definitely the best choice we could have at Tamarindo.
Facilities were amazing and the owners really took care of that place.
Nothing to complain. Just don't recommend for people that travel without car because you'll need it to move from the property to the beach.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and had an amazing time. Serenaded by monkeys in the morning and evening it was a secluded stay away from the bustle of the main tourist areas. The owners were amazing and friendly. We received excellent suggestions on where to eat and go. If you are up for the experience of glamping this is the perfect opportunity.

We booked Cocolhu because we wanted to experience the nature and wild life of Tamarindo and is was for sure a good choice. Cocolho is the best glamping facility in Tamarindo. The place is very well equipped and exceeded our expectations. The sunset and sunrise was spectacular. It was a little rainy and we sat under the stars in the rain and enjoy the nature and sounds of the several animals around. At 4:30 AM we started hearing the monkeys and birds and that was a unique experience. The owners live close by and are very friendly and helpful. If you have to reach the location you can better take the route from Tamarindo, because it is better assessable, especially in rainy season. You don't need to worry about food in case you don't want the leave at night because you can order from a great variety of restaurants. You can also book Yoga classes and massage. If you are staying for short term you can arrange also in advance. Just contact the property owners and let them inform you or guide you. We had a very unforgettable great stay in Cocolhu. We recommend this location highly.

Super cute little pod in the jungle just outside Tamarindo. It's on a platform facing the ocean in the distance surrounded by jungles. You can see birds and monkeys.
The kitchen was better equipt than I expected and underneath the platform are hammocks in the shade if it gets too warm.
The pod was decent and has aircon, although we didn't need to use it much because there is also a fan.
The owners are lovely and speak great English too.
The last few metres on the road are rough but we made it with a sedan rental car so don't worry if you have a vehicle.
Would recommend for a chilled out night in the jungle!

Extremely beautiful place and the hosts are so sweet! Cocolhu is definitely a spot I would love to come back to and recommend to everyone!
Waking up to the sound of nature in this self made platform in a dome is absolutely magical!

Free Wifi? A joke. Better off using celular network.
This property shows up under results for travelling for work and says free Wifi. I stayed here and barely got 1 mbps speed (I have the print screen from the internet speed test, reading not even 900 kbps). I told staff I would have problems with my work because of the Wifi and they basically didnt care at all and suggested I go to a restaurant in town for WIFI. Too bad, otherwise a nice place and I it's too bad to have to give a bad review... But at this extremely high price this wifi issue was unacceptable.

Our favourite place to stay while in Tamarindo! Really cool and comfortable experience, and the hosts are so personable and friendly!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone travelling to this area. Cannot day enough good things about our time here.
