This house is exactly as described. Spacious with lots of amenities. My whole family came and beautiful memories were made here. The downstairs area is very well laid out with lots of seating, downstairs fridge and bathroom a plus. The fishing area allowed for several people to fish at the same time. We never found a need to leave the house during our stay as we had everything we needed at the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Everyone had such a great time and we will definitely be back.

Our stay at Bay Vista was absolutely wonderful. The location was amazing with beautiful bay views. The house was clean, well organized and stocked with all the essentials and then some. I would definitely rent it again!

Photos are very accurate. This is a very spacious property. We caught enough fish there for a family of 12 fish fry! Flounders were great! The place was clean and the property management was thorough and kept in touch. The pool was extremely cloudy and unfiltered, however it was closed the next day so I assume they were having some filter issues.

Property is very clean and the kitchen has everything you can possibly need. We loved the space downstairs and the views were amazing! The fishing was fantastic. We caught sand and speckled trout every night so the kids were very happy. (We brought our own coolers for bait and fish so just be prepared to bring those.)The house itself had very comfortable beds and lots of space inside. We had a wonderful time!

House was great, location and size was very nice. Everything was awesome only wish they provided kayak and paddle boards.

House was unbelievably beautiful, both inside and out. Enough space for all of us to comfortably live for the 4 days.
The fishing, the fishing, the fishing was incredible.
The Texas Slam was caught so many times we had to resort to catch and release.
Already planning our next stay!

This property was great for our family. We had 13 people stay at this house and it was very accommodating. The property had everything we needed. It rained part of the time we were there and there is a covered area with a bar that was great. The water views were amazing as well as the sunsets. Definitely would rent again.

Beautiful home on a fantastic piece of property! Plenty of space and pictures didn’t do it justice. Rental/check-in/check-out was a breeze. Kitchen was very well stocked with QUALITY pots, pans, coffee maker etc etc. A/C will get plenty cold quickly. Downstairs bar area was excellent with separate frig and freezer and perfect view of the bay and little beach area across the canal. We will be coming back….I only hope it stays on the rental market!

This property was amazing, the house is beautiful and had everything we could have asked for to make our trip to Galveston perfect. Gary Greene vacation rentals was great to work with! I can’t say enough good things about this rental. Will definitely be looking to stay at this property again when in Galveston.

Had a great stay at Bay Vista. This is our second time to book this place as we liked the location and my family likes to fish. The dishwasher soap dispenser does not open though, so the soap was still solid after the cycle was done. Had to repeat the wash and placed the soap on the upper door rack, which worked. For this I gave it a 4 star. Otherwise, I'd still recommend this place. There was 14 of us. 4 families of my siblings. We had great bonding moments during our Thanksgiving week. My son caught a Gar fish and that was probably the highlight of the day as far as the kids go. We did release the Gar. Just hope that they would install more lights for night fishing.

What a great place and location. Check in was easy and the communication was great! We had a great time in Galveston. Bay Vista was perfect for our group. It was well organized and we loved the location. Every year at this time our group rents a place and so far this was this best. Will definitely be back.

Although we had a cold stay with white skies and rain, it was such a beautiful spot. The house is huge and very well laid out. The enclosed balcony, views and the large kitchen were highlights. My hubby caught a large trout the first night off the dock which fed us for a few nights! We also rented a kayak through Ricks beach rental and paid the extra for drop off and pick up. One of our favorite stays we’ve had in Galveston.

Loved the sunrise & sunsets. The fishing off the property was awesome. Plenty of room for people to maneuver around. We had a three year old & 6 month triplets along with 5 adults in our group. Will definitely book again.
The only downside was no dumb waiter to help bring things up to the house level.

This house was really great for our family to enjoy a week on the west end of Galveston Island. The house is beautiful and well equipped and the location is excellent for enjoying all the activities of fishing, boating, kayaking, and crabbing. The beach is a 5 minute drive away. The management company was excellent. Communication with them was clear and prompt, the house was very clean when we arrived, and everything was in good working order. This is a house that we will rent again.

Family Vacation!
The property was better than advertised! I’ve rented quite a few canal houses in Galveston but this one is at the top! Plenty of room for everyone. Great fishing! Huge patio and just across the street from the beach.

The house was clean, well stocked and organized, with helpful labels in the kitchen. We fished off the dock and enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding (rented the equipment). Also did wade fishing across the channel. The channel across from the home was a gathering point for many boats over the weekend, people anchored there and were partying in the afternoon; it was pretty noisy but we did not mind. Wonderful property - would definitely stay here again.

Best Galveston family rental we've made; fun for us grandparents, our kids, and their kids. Too little time (2 nights) for all the features this home provides. Great fishing from the shore! We'll be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

We had a good experience overall, but there was a leak in the master bath (that I’m sure will be promptly fixed), and the green night fishing lights on the deck did not work. The house was beautiful and very clean.

Great house great location, everything perfect but no key for boat launch area. Previous guest list key. I would have paid the hundred bucks to replace the key but didn’t know in advance. Love the place will rent again 😀

Outdoor sitting area/bar was a great gathering space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were very nice, my only complaint would be sufficient hooks or towel bars for upstairs. Two rooms that are able to hold approximately 6-8 people, but only one towel bar and one hook in bathroom. Super close drive to public beach - less than 2 minutes and you’re there. We would gladly stay here again! Management company was very helpful in answering questions prior to our arrival.

Fishing! Quiet neighborhood, beautiful house, and Galveston within a 30 min drive.
We did not want to leave!! Did I mention Fishing within feet of the front door? So relaxing and peaceful. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous 😍

This house was great. The location was perfect and the house was updated and clean. Good fishing and fun outdoor areas to relax and have a good time. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect!
Bay Vista exceeded our expectations! It was a beautiful property in the perfect location. We had 14 people in our group and there was plenty of space for us. The highlight for my boys was catching a 5 foot alligator gar right of the deck! I highly recommend Bay Vista!

It was a great house to stay in. We all had fun. We did some fishing and caught crabs!! There were 4 families (brother’s and sister’s)14 people! We all were able to fit in without feeling cramped. The kitchen was well equipped. My family all saw each other again on Thanksgiving. My brother in law reported to me that he had insect bites (bed bugs) after he slept in the bunkbed room, I.e. bed closest to the window. He showed me his insect bites. It looked awful. You may need to do some pest control or replace the mattresses in the bunk Bed room. If it wasn’t for this, I would’ve given it a 4-5 star.
