the location is just serene. the tranquility is amazing. you really can’t beat this experience. it’s just beautiful and peaceful. it’s quite a fantastic way to experience africa

well it would be absolutely fabulous if there was a restaurant but it is self serve. however the manager kept groceries stashed and we bought some off of her so it was a close call it also gets really chilly at night but that’s the least of the problems it’s also out of reach far from town. but isolation is a great thing

Would have loved to buy food from nearby

Karien, the manager, takes with her team care of the guest from arrival to departure. They were there, when needed, and went out of our way when we wanted to relax. The house was very clean und equipped with everything we needed. Awesome ! It is only a few meters away from the river and we had stunning views on the river at sunrise and sunset. Truly magic. We enjoyed the two-hour-boat trip as well. Junior was the Guide and he gave us the time we needed to look at birds and other animals. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Thanks Karien !

The fantastic location and atmosphere

We received a free upgrade into to Boat House. Karien was an excellent host. Being able to watch the sublime sunrises of Africa from the bed was absolutely breathtaking. We hired Andrew, a local Chef, who prepared excellent food for us. Having the Zambezi Park on the other side of the river and watching the wild animals come to drink in the afternoon was a great bonus.

If you do not have a car, it can be a little secluded.
