I wish we could have stayed longer that one night! We stayed in the Farmhouse Cabin #8 and it was perfect for us! It was clean and had what we needed . It was very nice and had a front porch with rocking chairs. We used the fire pit to relax at night, and were a close walk to the lodge where we had a delicious breakfast in the morning. They let us have a later check out so we were able to go across to the farm and stables, and swam in the swimming hole they have. The scenery and being surrounded by the mountains was great!
The pool wasn’t open, but we went to a nice spot to swim by the river.

The views and location were spectacular! Very close to the Shenandoah National Park. Very family oriented but I was fine going as a single adult. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I will definitely return!

The buffet on Saturday night and breakfast buffet on Sunday morning were both excellent. My only complaint would be the service was not very good. I believe they were understaffed on both occasions. The customer service at the front desk was good. When we arrived to our room they were trying to fix the TV. The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to fix the problem.
The rooms are out dated. I had requested the upper floor and didn’t get it. So we had a bunch of kids above us who spent most of the night jumping up and down in the bed and onto the floor. The mattresses are hard and uncomfortable.
