Kihei was the perfect spot to stay because of its centralized location. You can go south or north to explore the island. We stayed 8 days and only touched the tip of the iceberg in exploring all there is to see.
We did do a little island hopping and went to Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor so being semi-close to the airport was nice.
Our condo was all the way at the back of the property on the 3rd floor. At first we thought this was inconvenient because of the length of the walk to the beach and the condo was really hot the first night. But we soon found out that the distance from the street made it quieter and the trade winds that blew in the evening cooled off the condo sufficiently to sleep comfortably.
We were also surprised to find so many items in the condo that we used every day. I found a French press coffee container to make my own each morning ( I like my coffee extra strong). We had everything we needed to make breakfast every morning (and save some money) with the leftovers from the previous nights’ excursion to the local restaurant. The great thing about this is we had breakfast on the lanai with a pretty good view ( if you squinted hard enough you could see the ocean). This reminds me; Costco was right next to the airport so after we picked up our rental car we headed straight to the famous food trucks across the street from Costco, had a great meal, then went to Costco and bought everything we needed for our stay.

The complex is clean and well maintained although a little older than most. Located right across the street from a great beach and they provide beach chairs and a good cooler. The kitchen is nice and well-equipped but the furniture and window coverings are lacking. I didn't visit the pool but it looks about like a basic motel pool.

Best location in Kehei. Directly across from a beautiful beach and just a couple minutes walk to 3 others. Restaurants and shopping are all either right next door or a short walk. The unit is nice and clean. Has all the appliances, dishes, and cookware you need. Has 4 beach chairs and coolers. Only negative is no a/c in bedroom. There is in living room but got warm in bedroom

Place was great. Last building in the back so off the road. Stayed there several times in the past for a friend owned two units here in the 90's. Place was very clean. First time in Hawaii where I stayed and I never saw one ant or a roach. Nice location and walkable to every thing.I was not happy with the check in. I never received any any email on the check in process. Even after I spoke with CBIP, they said they sent me several emails yet I never received one. If it was not for a security guard, Hana, I would have been forking out $400.00+ for a hotel to stay in my first night there. They should remove this off of or Expedia. They create poor communication. But CBIP should have confirmed with me about receiving the emails prior to my arrival. My reservations state I can check in from 3:00 p.m. to midnight and this is not accurate. Plane arrived at 10:30 p.m. and office was closed and no one answered their phones.

We were so pleased with our rental! My wife and I were able to get into the property easily, instructions were left for use of the property and facilities, and we were only a short walk away from everything Kehei had to offer. It was also a good starting point for all our adventures since we wanted reasonably priced accommodations without all the hustle and bustle of the more populated areas. So glad we found this gem!

This condo was nice, clean, in a good location... great beach right across the street and walking distance to food, etc. It includes everything you need for cooking, showering, going to the beach...Only thing missing was a beach umbrella, so we bought one and left it for the next renters :)

Excellent condo. So fully stocked with kitchen gear we were lacking nothing. Extra stars for having basics like salt and pepper and spices. Even some oils and baking supplies. Very clean overall, could use a fresh coat of paint tho. I would highly recommend this condo. The rental company was outstanding regarding answering any questions. Ad

I didn't find the unit that clean and it really needs an AC unit in the bedroom as the AC in the living room is in a corner and you can only feel the air in that room. Additionally, the unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. I thought the unit was a bit overpriced for what it is compared to some others I've stayed in. Overall, would recommend CB island vacations but a different unit!

Kihei Kai Nani is directly across from Kama'ole II Beach. We stayed in the same condo unit last year because of the location and price value. Several good restaurants are next door, as well as being on the bus line. I walked the beach every morning, one direction or the other. Extra activities such as whale watching or paddle boards can be rented down the street. We would stay there again considering that it would cost twice as much (or more...we checked)if we stayed in the beach front condos across the street. Mt Haleakala protects the area from most of the rain even if it's wet in Lahaina or Kaanapali.

Fantastic location across from Kamaole II beach. And nect to our favorite restaurant (Moose's). Condo unit has been nicely renovated and is very comfortable. Quiet because it's away from the main road. We don't bother with cars anymore as the bus is so convenient. We take a shuttle to & from the airport. Nice-sized pool.

This place was of good value for what we paid to stay. Compared to other Kihei condos it is definitely nothing luxurious but provides just what you need for a couple to stay. Only thing I wish we would have known is that this particular unit doesn’t supply a cooler, boogie boards or snorkel equipment. This was quite disappointing seeing as every other unit I’ve stayed in in the area had these things. Over all a good stay and more than adequate condo

Location, location
This property is the perfect location for fun in the sun on the beach. The property overall is well maintained and clean. The unit we stayed in was very nice. Hear other units were not as updated in the same complex. This is not a 5-star resort but a great rental equal to a good holiday inn with a home like conveniences. The kitchen had excellent facilities, nice washer and dryer and towels. On the weaker side needs a new beach chair and some beach supplies. A bigger beach umbrella would be a good upgrade. The only thing to consider is the air conditioning is on a timer and if there are no trade winds the unit is hot. it is also on the thrid floor. The walk up the stairs for some could be a challenge. I would stay in this property again and recommend it to others. The company did ask I send my ID to them because I arrived late in the day, this did make me uncomfortable but seems to be no problem. Enjoy Maui best place to vacation!

Awesome!
Super nice and clean! The only issue we had was being out at night was a little on the rougher side....we showed up to a fight right outside our room on the very first night, which freaked us out a little. We decided to stay indoor at night after that.
