Just around the corner from the main street and a 15 minute walk to the port (half of which is stairs or steep slope. Although at night it could be a bit noisy, it was not overly so. The apartment was spacious enough for two people with luggage. It was central to many cafes, restaurants and shopping. The kitchen was sufficiently appointed for us to make simple meals.
The only real negative was the 2-3 flights of stairs, but in defence we knew about it and Nicola, our host, was most helpful assisting us with our luggage.

Good location in the city center, close to the station, to restaurants and bars. The host was nice, met us on the spot to show us the place, gave us recommendations for restaurants and so and was very responsive to requests. It was clean, with a bedroom and a separate small kitchen to use, if needed. Several mirrors, which we enjoyed using. Bathroom was ok. All in all, a nice place.
Not so close to the port - there is a bus 8 that goes very close or you need to walk up or downhill for 15 min or so (would not recommend that with luggage though). The double bed was a bit smaller than usual but still ok. We found the accommodation much more expensive then the other locations we visited in the area (more than double price compared to Salerno, Ischia, Napoli for a smaller apartment), which is probably due to less supply during the period in Sorrento. Some stairs to climb with the suitcases but the host helped us when we arrived (so might not be so easy if you have big luggage - we were with small suitcases only)

it’s location was very good and very clean
the only place to sit was on the bed. there were no glasses. other residents were. at pains to protest that the building was private property not a rental
