Seabreeze Cove “Boat house” Waterfront Apartment
Questo appartamento sul lungomare caldo e accogliente soprannominato "la casa della barca", offre una camera da letto e un bagno e si trova su Spruce Head Island, nel Maine. È in una strada tranquilla ed è il luogo perfetto per una fuga romantica di una coppia. Questo posto è l'ideale per godersi la vita dell'isola e tutto ciò che MidCoast Maine ha da offrire. Lo spazio ha un concetto aperto soggiorno, sala da pranzo, cucina che è piena di luce. Il divano del soggiorno si apre per essere un divano letto queen-size per ospitare altre due persone! Il suo grande ponte si estende per tutta la larghezza dell'appartamento, e offre un barbecue e posti a sedere all'aperto. La cucina ha un tavolo che può ospitare 3 persone per godersi le cene di aragosta e giocare a un divertente gioco da tavolo. Meglio di tutti, c'è un meraviglioso cortile con alberi sempreverdi, massi di granito e, naturalmente, vista sull'oceano e aria di mare.
Immagina di svegliarti al suono dell'acqua che lambisce la riva e ai gabbiani che chiamano. Puoi sbirciare tra gli alberi e intravedere l'oceano, che sicuramente ti chiamerà! Porta il tuo caffè mattutino e il tuo libro preferito nell'accogliente cortile sul retro e trascorri la mattinata rilassandoti sulle sedie Adirondack. Guarda per il falco pescatore, l'aquila calva e il pulcinella di mare mentre ti diletti nella vista sull'oceano e nell'aria marina. Le serate sono pensate per sorseggiare cocktail e una cena a base di aragosta mentre vi godete le fresche brezze oceaniche e un magnifico tramonto.
Dubitiamo che vorresti lasciare questo angolo di paradiso, ma se desideri sgranchirti un po 'le gambe, Rockland e Port Clyde sono entrambi a breve distanza in auto e dispongono di molti meravigliosi ristoranti e negozi, alcuni grandi musei e di naturalmente, i famosi fari del Maine. Ci sono gallerie d'arte, campi da golf, sentieri escursionistici, molte isole da esplorare e una miriade di giri in barca da golette, a una barca aragosta funzionante.
MidCoast Maine ha qualcosa per tutti i gusti e nel momento in cui varchi la soglia ti sentirai come a casa nell'appartamento Seabreeze Cove "Boat house". Non vorrai mai andartene!
La "casa in barca" si trova al secondo piano e dispone di una scala esterna per l'accesso. Sebbene la "casa della barca" sia una proprietà sul lungomare, non vi è alcun accesso diretto all'acqua e nessun accesso ai moli vicini.
Nota speciale per i nostri ospiti: la nostra proprietà sorella, cottage Seabreeze Cove si trova accanto. C'è molta privacy per tutti, ma la combinazione di entrambe le proprietà fornirebbe dormire per 8-10 persone. Per i dettagli, consultare l'elenco VRBO 1246498.

The apartment was very cute and had a relaxing feel, the views of the water were also gorgeous. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

Our niece was coming to spend time with us, and we booked her in the boathouse. It was just perfectly cozy!

Let's start with the ending: We had a VERY NICE time here and would DEFINITELY stay here again. :-)
The area is rural and GREEN. A town is 8 miles away. :-)
This 3-story building has a basement accessible only from the back/water side. You park at ground level but stay in the part above the boat area, which is like a garage (with lots of windows so you can see what's inside).
You go up stairs with about 15 steps. I mention this because some people said the steps were tough. They are a little steep, so don't try to carry 2 suitcases with you up the stairs!
There is a nice size deck on the side where you park. I sat out here some, especially at night. The stars are impressive! The moon was, too.
There is a small deck area on the water side, and I sat more on that side. Though it is the water side of the place, you are not on the water. There are evergreen trees blocking most of your view but you can see the water. I sat out here A LOT and just listened to the birds and the bell from a buoy in the water (I think).
On one night the moon was shining bright, and the whole "bay" lit up. I got some really impressive photos!
There were 2 of us on this trip. The bedroom is a nice size, and the bed is more than comfortable. The kitchen is just right and has all the pots and pans and bowls you'd ever need. (Careful: the plates do not appear to be microwavable, which I learned by read the small message on the back of the plates.) We prepared several meals here while on this trip.
The TV has lots of channels for you, so that's all good.
The bathroom is small but adequate. The shower area is small, but as someone who has had several older homes redone over the years, I think the owner has been very creative in how this shower space is set up.
Things I would recommend: 1. The TV needs better instructions. There are multiple buttons on at least 2 remote controls, and knowing what does what took us a while to figure out. 2. The microwave cooks fast! In fact, I burned popcorn twice before I finally got it right the third time. (The exhaust fan didn't work for us. I flipped every switch I saw but couldn't get it on. Is there a secret I missed?)
I say these things just so you'll know. The owner was VERY attentive during our stay via email, and I had a number I could have called, too. (Don't worry... no, the owner did not come visit us or bother us, which is always a concern of mine).
In sum, we would definitely rent here again.

We booked this along with the main house for a family gathering for the week. It was perfect for one extra person or a couple. It is above a garage with steps leading up to the doors both back and front. Fine for a short stay or like we did with occupying the main house as well. We all enjoyed our stay at Spruce Head!
