Cottage con 1 camera da letto nel pittoresco villaggio di St Margarets Hope. Come visto nello show televisivo della BBC "Homes Under The Hammer". La proprietà è composta al piano inferiore da una cucina completamente attrezzata e una zona soggiorno con divano-letto. Al piano superiore si trova la camera da letto con letto king size con un letto futon singolo e bagno con doccia separato. Wifi gratis. Vi è un ampio parcheggio esterno gratuito. La struttura si trova a meno di 1/2 km dal traghetto di Gills Bay e sulla linea di autobus che offre un servizio regolare per Kirkwall e Stromness. Il villaggio di St Margarets Hope ha negozi, pub, ufficio postale, fish and chips e una caffettiera che vende artigianato locale e prodotti delle Orcadi. A pochi passi dal Noust troverete un campo da golf a 9 buche, un campo da tennis, un campo da bocce, 2 parchi giochi e una sala fitness. Ci sono alcune belle spiagge e passeggiate sul lato della scogliera nelle vicinanze. Sullo scivolo fuori dalla porta di The Noust possono esserci regolarmente delle foche sdraiate.

We had a fantastic time staying in the property, it was very clean and comfortable and in a very good location, there is a post office just around the corner which sells a wide selection of food and things. We would recommend to our friends.

An amazing, beautiful property next to the sea. One of the main ferries to the island docks a few hundred meters away. The location is everything you’d wish for a Scottish Island getaway, the peace and tranquility is good for the soul. The local area is pretty, with lots to see and do further away on Orkney. Robertsons coffeehoose is also a bar just up the road, and with several shops and places to eat in St Margaret’s Hope itself this property makes for a great base. Highly recommended and our thanks to the host.

We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable. The bathroom was well lit and really liked the side shelves for storage. The shower was really nice. The stair treads up to the bedroom are a little narrow -- with my bad hip I had to be particularly careful about my foot placement. But that comment goes for all of Orkneky! :-)There was room for all of our stuff. Would have liked a few more kitchen devices (e.g. good bread knife). But I understand we cook more than most people. I wasnt used to the electric stove but it worked well and I got used to it by the time we left.
