Beautiful home. Very comfortable and well maintained. Excellent location though short steep drive/walk from main street (Frazier Street) with shops, restaurants, and Riverwalk a little further.Bathrooms don't have shower bars if someone in your group needs one. The back decks are fantastic like being in a tree house. There is construction of two homes one lot over and builders started at 6:45a.Communication was the weakest link in the rental. The host never responded to a few vrbo messages including an inquiry as to whether we could come in a couple hours early, or that fire alarms went on/off four different times one night between 1-4a; and two items accidentally left behind. Even text messages got only one timely response, and one six hours later. The other two resulted in no responses.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We couldn't have asked for a better location. This house is so close to everything (Ruby Falls, Rock City, zoo, aquarium, Duck Boats, incline railroad, parks, some hiking trails, great restaurants). We never drove more than 25 minutes to any of our destinations. It's a quiet street, too. We only saw a neighbor once and he was very nice.The house is beautiful, too. Lots of closet space, huge bathrooms, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Each story of the house has a nice little porch, too.I will say the house is kind of echo-y (tall ceilings), so bring a sound machine if you're a light sleeper. But that was hardly an issue... I'd absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Chattanooga!

We had 8 adults staying at the property for a wedding. The house structure itself is great. The location is very close to downtown and you can tell the neighborhood is up and coming. The interior is furnished quite minimally. It would be a great house if the owner's stayed in it for a short period of time to evaluate what they really need to make this a great short term rental (ex. More insulation inbetween rooms- you can hear a pindrop in the next room over, more hooks for towels, more bedside tables, more toilet paper, better HVAC...downstairs very cool/ upstairs hot, etc). The furnishings looked to be a mish mosh of secondhand items used to outfit the home. The TV in one of the bedrooms did not work. We are thinking it may be the remote batteries. The rooms can handle queen beds, they should consider utilizing a bit bigger beds. We had an issue with hot water and although the owner was very responsive, unfortunately the problem was not resolved and most had cold showers all weekend. I was reimbursed for one night and I felt that was very kind of the owners. If you are not comfortable parking on a steep driveway, there is a small parking pad in the front of the home. Overall a pretty good rental and I feel if the owners just take a second pass through their home and make some minor improvements, it could be so much better.
