Astana Wing - Riverside Majestic Hotel

Thank you, Astana, for accepting all my requests and providing such wonderful service! 🥹🤍 They even prepared a complimentary birthday cake for my daughter and a little balloon decoration upon arrival. That was honestly so thoughtful and heartwarming. Kudos to the staff for not taking our requests for granted and for going the extra mile to make her birthday stay special. I’m truly touched! 🥹✨ I also requested a beautiful view, and they really delivered THE BEST VIEW EVER! 😭🤍 I would rate this hotel 1000/5 stars for the service alone. Everything was so thoughtfully done, and we truly appreciate it. Thank you, Astana, for making our stay extra memorable! ✨

The only thing I wasn’t really satisfied with was the cleanliness and the condition of the room. The interior looks a little dated and worn in some areas, and the curtains weren’t properly arranged, with some parts looking like they were coming off.I think the main area that could use a little more attention and polishing is the room itself. Other than that, everything else was great, especially the service! 🤍

Good

Buffet breakfast had a reasonable assortment of local food and cereals, though rather limited in Western and fruit selection. Good location among the hotel cluster and close to river and attractions.

The aircon wasn't cold! I set temp at 22C but it was warm at the desk. Even at 18-20C and medium fan, the room still wasn't cold. I finally got it fixed for my 3rd (last) night. Another delegate said his room was warm too whereas one said his was freezing! Airconditioning seems to be inconsistent across the hotel! There was no ceiling light outside the room door - very dim at night as it was the corner room.

The breakfast buffet was amazing

While the room was clean the bathroom was finishing and workmanship was a disappointment. AC was also warm during the stay and even in the lobby they had put up additional fans. Getting to the pool was a hastle.
