House with terrific fjord view
Una casa indipendente con una magnifica vista sul Sognefjord. A poche centinaia di metri dalla casa potrete ammirare le montagne maestose e sentire i suoni delle cascate ruggenti. Questa è una posizione davvero unica e una possibilità unica nella vita di vivere il famoso Nærøyfjord, patrimonio dell'UNESCO, in tutta la sua gloria!

Eppure la sua centrale, a pochi passi dal centro di Gudvangen, dal traghetto e dagli autobus turistici. L'estate è alta stagione e molti dei nostri ospiti prenotano un anno in anticipo. La località vale la pena sperimentare anche in primavera, autunno e inverno, poiché è solo una breve distanza in auto da alcuni dei migliori stazioni sciistiche di Scandinavia, Voss e Myrkdalen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gudvangen. The home is beautifully decorated as it felt as if it was a Norwegian grandmother's home. There were waterfall and fjord views from the home. It is located on a hill so you need to be able to walk up and down the hill for groceries and transportation. We are in our 70's and had no problems with the walk. We did not have a car so Asbjorn helped us with our luggage to and from the ferry. Ferry ride from Flam to Gudvangen is magical. Excellent bus connections to Flam and Voss. Flam Welcome Center was very helpful in arranging activities. There are a lot of activities in the area. Gudvangen is very relaxing compared to Flam. The grocery store in Gudvangen is well supplied. We highly recommend this home.

Easy drive from Bergen, met our host at arranged place, who took us up to the house. Exactly as in the photos. The most spectacular view even in the Norwegian rain!, of which it does quite a lot. However the next day brilliant sunshine and we walked to Bakka along the side of the fjord. Then back to the very squeaky but comfortable house. The host was charming and we wished we would have spent longer chatting. But our week ended and on to our next Norwegian house.

The house is beautiful and in a stunning location, set very peacefully just above the village and the fjord. The hosts kindly gave us a lift to and from the bus at the start and end of our stay, although the house is not far from the centre of the village. There are many activities in Gudvangen such as kayaking, hydro-biking and the Viking Centre, as well as many wonderful walks and boat trips.
