We stayed here last August before school started for the kids. We enjoyed it so much we booked the house again in January for the same timing. Though the house was not as clean this time around it still served it's purpose. The new owners were attentive. My only suggestion would be to do better on the cleaning, appearance is everything in a rental property. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Had a great time exploring a part of our state we had never been to before. The house was wonderful and even though the weather was great, we decided to cook in the kitchen because it was that fabulous! Communication with the owner was perfect and any issue we had was taken care of promptly. The views from the deck were spectacular! Didn’t see any elk, but that was ok. Had some deer in the morning so that was nice. Great stay! Will go back!

Our son got married this weekend and staying at this cabin was perfect. We spent most of the time on the covered porch. Our Australian Shepherd loved the yard. Everything we needed was there. We would highly recommend this rental.

Everything was advertised and absolutely wonderful! Very clean inside the rental and the hottub was amazing. Apparently there used to be a cloudy issue but we didn't have that at all - very enjoyable. We appreciated the communication and flexibility when we had to change dates due to my dad being in the hospital. Looking forward to hopefully staying again!

House was very nice and view to kill for. Our quest to find elk was unsuccessful but saw some new country. Rosie's restaurant on mountain approaching St. Marys has great breakfast. Benezette Hotel is also good. Alittle further in Kersey, another good restaurant. Can't remember name. Manager/owner great guy with alot on his plate. Thanks

Our stay was overall very good, no complaints about the house itself or how it was kept. We thought it was very nice, spacious, and clean. Only comment there is the bathroom on the living room level doesn’t have a fan and the shower leaked onto the floor, might help to rework that in the future, but I’m sure the owners know that. Our check-in was a little rocky, the renters of the house next door somehow accidentally checked into ours. I think Dylan made an honest mistake, and I’m sure will make check-in more smooth in the future. He was at the property when this happened, and afterwards responded quickly through Vrbo. He managed to get us into the right house, and had offered a full refund if he somehow couldn’t get the other family out. He was friendly and professional through the whole thing. Would stay again!

Hot tub was not clean/very cloudy and had a bad odor. Gas grill was filthy and there was NO propane in the tank-no grilling had to fry in pan on house range. Living room area was not easily assessable and had no fire exit (so not an extra sleeping space)-not accurately listed in VRBO listing. Host got back to me in timely manner with information and instructions on how to fix wall unit heat because it was not functioning when we arrived and house was not warm. Wall units were very noisy.

Property was perfect for our weekend getaway! House was spacious, clean and in a great location. Great outside deck and hot tub too! Was very happy with this choice.

Our daughter is a student at Penn State DuBois and we were looking for somewhere close to her to stay. House was perfect. Nice yard for walking the pup. Hot tub was fantastic.

We decided to go away for Christmas this year and decided on staying here. It was a great choice. We loved it. The hottub was a awesome. Only thing I would suggest is maybe checking the temperature of the home as it was chilly when we arrived. ( temperature outside was 4 when we arrived ) Also, the stairs to the room downstairs are a little risky. . But all in all it was an awesome stay with family.

The cabin was perfect. We had an awesome time. Will be renting again for sure.

2 bedrooms, 2 baths nice kitchen. Made use of hot tub. Beautiful weather. Very comfortable house and close to viewing area. We saw a LOT of Elk and heard a LOT of bugeling. We got a new puppy the day we came home from vacation and named him Winslow (IYKYK)☺️

Very clean rental with everything provided, just bring what you want with you. The views were gorgeous. We didn't see any elk in the yard, but saw them every time we went out. There were deer in the yard every night we went into the hot tub. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

The house was great except for the spiral staircase. It was a bit tricky to use and the last step was higher than normal. Kids loved it because of the reminder of a jungle gym item.

Comfortable, clean, relaxing. Hot tub was wonderful. Mr Dugan very accessible and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

The house was very spacious and the kitchen was very nice. Our main problem was and it was a big problem ,was the water Very low pressure and hot water in master bedroom was very limited.

This was our first weekend stay and it was perfect! We had gone before for just the day but it was exhausting coming from Erie. A weekend was perfect and this location couldn't have been better! Close to the Winslow Visitor Center where we were able to view a group of over 40 elk on Saturday evening. Definitely will stay here again! We all loved it!

First off, let me say, we enjoyed the stay. This review is a little different because of a situation that was outside of the control of the property owner/manager. But I want to give honest feedback to help them in the future. I'm a seasoned BNB of the Air variety and this was my first VRBO experience. I've seen a lot of different things, just so you know that I understand things happen. I booked the VRBO the day before I was planning on going. I waited for an email for some time to confirm the check in process, but I didn't get one. So I'm not sure if that's a VRBO thing or an owner thing. I left 2 messages on the VRBO booking details and didn't receive any response that day. Tom did respond the following day to tell me if I needed anything to call a number. That was actually while I was on my way down and I had previosly programmed the number (his from the VRBO site, into my phone), so I called that number and Tom was a little surprised I think. It was different than the property managers number after I went back and looked at it. I said I hadn't received any information about check in and he said... "Oh! Here is the combination for the key box." So, no big deal, we got there and got in and the property is a nice location and a nice property. We were met with a note, it may have been from the cleaning people or it may have been the previous tenants... it said the electricity was out since 8 AM and that the dishes were in the dishwasher and the toilets couldn't be cleaned. Sounds reasonable enough right? The part that was a let down is that none of the beds had been cleaned or the linens changed. We were there about 10 minutes and the electricity came on. We called the property manager and she was a little flustered by the situation. I think she may have been in the dark about what was going on and probably depends on their cleaning service to relay information. I asked if the cleaning crew could come and clean, she said she'd call back. The crew couldn't come until the next day. She told us where the key to the basement room was that had the linens (It was actually already opened) and we changed the linens in the master bedroom and did some cleaning in there and the kitchen including the dishes. I called the property manager and cancelled the crew. We made the best of it. The cleaners could have done what we did without power. (Shortening - word limit) The actual house is great. Hot tub is great. Recommend.

Everything was as advertised. We were there for a wedding and everyone ended up coming to our place because they said it was the best. Owner, Tom was fantastic. AC was key as it was 90 degrees and they worked great. Location was great and easy to get everywhere. Very, very happy with our stay at the Bugle.

Property was clean. Host was great. Bed was wonderful. Front porch was fantastic, we spent more time there than anywhere. Would love to visit again.

My only complaint the condition of the deck upon arrival. Before I could even go inside the house I had to sweep the deck that was covered with webs, etc all over. A bad " first impression ". The house was in perfect condition 👍. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We would definitely stay here again. We had two glitches , we we're without water and power for about 8 hours. No fault of the owner, ( the entire area was affected , replacing a transformer) he addressed the issue quickly and to the best of his ability. In addition he suggested some amazing sites to visit, all very close to the rental. As described in the listing, clean spacious, comfortable furnishings,Hot tub was an unexpected treat. The wifi worked better than any where we have stayed in the area before . We totally enjoyed our stay and are anxious to return .

The house was just what we needed. We were able to keep all the children in the master suite with us allowing our friends the other bedroom and bath. We enjoyed sitting on the deck through Saturday morning. I could not find sheets for the hide a bed, but happened to have a flat sheet in the car. It all worked well. Thank you

Beautiful cabin close to everything we needed. Very clean cabin and comfortable bed. We seen elk in the yard so we didn’t even need to drive anywhere to see them.
