A great accommodation option for the price - central location and welcoming service. Rooms were clean and functional and local in the downstairs bar were a hoot!

The room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast nook had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not sure if it's something that can be fixed but the shower took a while to get heat.

Expect to have noise if staying in the weekend. There was a 21st below us. Music had stopped by 12pm. My daughter is a light sleeper and people walking down the hallway interrupted her sleep (creaky floor boards)

Comfortable beds

The fact that they accepted our booking at such a late hour. That we were given the room with the ensuite so my two little girls didn't need to use the shared facilities.

There was quite a few flies in our room. This was the only not so nice thing in our room.

Didn't really like the location. The unit was very small and the toilet/bathroom facilities were basically one with the kitchen. A big flight of stairs to get to our unit.

was not happy with the cleanliness of the sheets on the bed and duvet as there was dried blood on them.

Safe, clean and great im-room amenities. Easy walk to town, The Square, cafes & supermarket.

I left early on Monday morning to arrive at Massey university. As I was walking down the steps, I encountered a mice at the bottom of the stairs. I tried to scare it off but it wasn't in the least bit scared of me. I of course had to jump over it to escape and to get out of the hotel. I took a picture. That of course made all my good feelings I was feeling for the place disappear.

Conveniently situated. Free parking, helpful and pleasant staff and cleanliness was top class.
