The home needs a better system of getting rid of trash. We thought we could use the dumpster down at the village and we were given a code to get into it but the code didn't work. The smoke detector is missing on the upper level. and we couldn't oprn the door in the basement level in case of an emergency.

This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s clean and has everything you need! The trash situation can be a bit cumbersome since you are responsible for removing trash and the there is only one dumpster nearby. It was full but other than that I would highly recommend it!

We had a great time. The house was clean and had everything we needed to just relax. The rec center was a short walk or drive and was amazing. 4 pools and 2 hot tubs plenty to do since it was a little rainy.

The house was excellent and as described. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores for everyone after a day of exploring. The house had games to play and dvds for the kids to watch. We will definitely stay again!

Access to downtown is about 20 to grocery store, DD Marshall etc. Fireworks were great at rev center for the 4th. The pond has paddle boats kayak access tennis courts we brought our rackets and also hiked. The gym in the rec center is amazing and 4 pools 2 jacuzzis are great esp when it rains- and this is included in your rental using their passes. We enjoyed our stay went to Clark’s and it’s about 18 miles not bad. The luxury of hotel if your NOT looking to clean cook everything like that this isn’t for you. But besides that we enjoyed it all! Great memories!

This house was a great "base" for exploring the Presidential and Sandwich mountain ranges. It was nice to come back to this cozy house after a day of hiking in the cold to cook a meal in the kitchen and sit by the fire. The owners are super-responsive and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

We had the absolute BEST time here! The house was the perfect amount of space and it was easy to buy groceries and cook meals for ourselves as the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc.. The house was a little dusty and musky when we first arrived but other than it needed a quick wipe down, it was clean! It’s in an AMAZING location being right in the mountains. The back yard with the fire pit was gorgeous and such a nice surprise way to spend our evenings. Would definitely book again!

The accommodations are exactly as stated, with all the necessary amenities... plenty of room for our group of friends... and my LARGE (and happy!) dog. The location is convenient, with easy access to all the local attractions. The whole rental and communication process was a breeze. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Was up here with my wife 2 kids and dog. What a great pace, secluded, clean, quiet, close to many things to do in the area. Owners are great with communications and answering questions. Would recommend to anyone looking on the area.

Overall, our stay here was very enjoyable. The location is excellent with plenty of things to do nearby during all seasons. We were here in the summer, so we weren’t able to take advantage of Waterville Valley or Campton Mountain ski areas. The house is actually located on Campton Mountain so that ski area is extremely close. Also, the rec center was closed unfortunately due to COVID. So we weren’t able to enjoy the pool. But the pond was open for swimming and for the paddle boats. We had a lot of fun there and the kids really enjoyed that area. The pond was bigger than I expected from the pictures. In addition to the pond, there is a nearby river for swimming and tubing which was nice . We did some hiking nearby and went to Clark’s Bears and Squam Lake Science Center. Lots of fun things to do here in the summer too. The house was clean. It was nicely decorated inside and very cute. There was some wear and tear inside (mainly with the appliances) but this is expected with a rental. Lots of games for kids on rainy days. The outside needs some upkeep. A paint job and some landscaping would work wonders for the property. But the fire pit area is very nice. We enjoyed having fires and roasting marshmallows. Check-in was a little rough because we were given the wrong code for the lockbox. And there was a wasp nest near the front door and two of the kids got stung. But the owners were very responsive and we were able to reach them quickly to get the right code. They were also very apologetic about the wasps nest and offered to reimburse us for the spray that we bought to get rid of them. I can understand previous reviews that mentioned it being difficult to get the house cleaned and all linens washed before check out time as it is true the washing machine is small. But we opted to pay the extra cleaning fee so we did not have to clean the house ourselves. I would recommend doing that if you stay here. We did strip the beds and started washing as many sheets, towels, etc as we could before we left. We did not have time to finish washing everything so we left some things still in the washer and dryer. Hopefully that was okay with the owners but we did what we could with the time we had. There was no way we would have had time to vacuum or clean the bathrooms so the cleaning fee is worth it! You have to remove all your trash before you go. But this was no problem because there was a dumpster nearby on the resort property for us to use.

The property is as the perfect size for my family of 5 with enough room for everyone! Centrally located to many attractions that we were interested in. Would definitely recommend it!

The property was in need of upkeep. Although the space was adequate and livable the overall appearance left something to be desired. Inside and out there needs to be painting and repairs. The owner requires all linens to be washed and dried before leaving, this is a difficult task to get done before checkout with proper laundry machines. In this case it is nearly impossible the washer is very small and the dryer takes a long time to dry. I do not believe the owner uses a cleaning service as they require you to sweep and vacuum, I do not think this is right during COVID.

This has been a great experience. Property is in a great location for both Waterville Valley and Lincoln. Plenty of great hiking and river swimming. Property was clean, plenty of space with three bedrooms . Would definitely stay again!

The home was in a quiet area close to attractions. The community center was great my kids enjoyed it there. The owners responded to any questions I had quickly. The house was clean. It I would recommend it to others it just did not fit our needs. 2 of the bedrooms are in the lowest level (the basement). I would have preferred to know that in advance. That just freaks me out a little. I also would have like to known that the trash needed to be removed. This would not have been a problem if we did not leave on a holiday that was a stressed they to find a solution to that problem . The transfer station is close and free so if you are looking and it’s not on a holiday. If it is a holiday stop in the real estate office before the weekend you can pay to drop your trash off in their dumpster on the holiday.

Our family had a great couple of days at the house. The location is near to many fun attractions, hikes, and things to do. The house had everything we needed from kitchen utensils to a cozy living room. During our stay, we needed to reach out to the owners who were very responsive and helpful. The house could use some updates, especially around the beds with older pillows and mattress pads. However, the house was clean, up to date and it was easy to find what we needed. Check-in and out were also very easy. This place offers a lot of value for the price! Recommend to future renters to be mindful of trash day. We didn't realize until checkout that the transfer station is not open every day and we needed to find another solution last minute We would certainly return in any season - the winter to enjoy the amazing indoor pool at the clubhouse as well as the gorgeous fireplace in the house. Or summer again to take full advantage of the amazing outdoor pool and pond. Recommend!
