Casa Cactus è una casita confortevole e accogliente, con una camera da letto, un soggiorno con letto singolo e cucina. Rustica architettura messicana con un tocco di stile mediterraneo. Dieci/15 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, cinque minuti a piedi dal negozio di alimentari e cinque minuti di auto dal centro di Todos Santos, bellissimo Pueblo Mágico. Casa Cactus ha una splendida vista sull'oceano e sul tramonto dalla terrazza anteriore e sul tetto, facile avvistamento delle balene , nella giusta stagione, in mezzo alla vegetazione dell'oasi costiera.

The interior and exterior spaces were beautiful and made it easy to relax. The front porch was an especially nice place to eat and read, and the view from the roof was a nice bonus. We enjoyed being able to hear the ocean and smell the salt air. The king sized bed was a nice change from other places we’ve stayed in México since I’m 6’3”. All in all, it was very nice.The beach is about a 15 minute walk, and is huge, beautiful and uncrowded. Apparently there are strong rip currents, so swimming is not advisable, but it made for a nice stroll.Giorgio was responsive and provided good directions for getting there and getting settled in. We’re not used to daily housekeeping, but it was nice to have clean floors.We easily cooked a few basic meals, but if you’re staying longer the kitchen isn’t well-equipped for daily cooking, so you may need to ask Giorgio for things, or bring them with you. We were surprised there was no potable water provided, but since there’s a market a block away, it was workable.

I must begin by saying that this home is not oceanfront (you can see the ocean from the roof). The house rules should be updated to include: quiet time by 10pm, and no visitors, as we were chastised by the owner for both issues. No children are allowed according to property rules, but the owner will knock on your door if his children are disturbed (they live within 20 ft of the unit we rented. There is no air conditioning or heat (which is fine for January). The photos in the listing are deceptive because they don’t disclose the fact that there are actually 5 homes on the property and that all are in close proximity to one another allowing for little privacy. The pool is shared by all homes and it is a very small above ground with ladder access only. The beach is actually a 20 minute sand trek and it is unswimmable (very private though). The kitchen is doable by there are no cooking tools provided. If you’re here for an accessible beach and a private home to rent, look elsewhere.
