The host was wonderful and super responsive. He was also very accommodating to our requests. The house was perfect for 3 families with 4 kids total. It had plenty of dishes and was well equipped. There was even plenty of firewood & sleds. We had as great time and played with snow in the yard.

This house was a great place for our friends and family to spend a ski weekend. It was easy to locate and enter based on the directions from the owner. The house was very clean and the wood burning fireplace made the house cozy and warm. We had to clean out the ash from the fireplace and clean the fireplace glass in order to use it, but that was easy enough. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. Great hot water and water pressure in the bathrooms. The listing said it had a BBQ on the deck that we planned to use only to find out it was buried in snow. We dug it out, scaped it clean and it worked great for cooking steaks. Overall a good weekend and a great place to stay.

The house was spacious, clean, warmed up quickly with the heater and had pretty good wi-fi for video conferencing for work during our stay. We loved the home's location (close to Tahoe Donner downhill ski) and the kitchen was spacious for cooking. The rooms had super comfy beds as well. The kids had slept like hibernating bears after their days on the slopes. We couldn't get the downstairs TV cable to work, so it was limited to DVD's. Not a problem as we're not going to Truckee to watch TV, but note for next stay:: bring kids favorite DVD's to pop in. Also the Master bedroom has Roku. The garage space is narrow, so not all big cars/trucks may be able to fit. Also, we had great communication with the property manager and had tons of questions which were addressed in a very timely manner. Thanks for a great experience!

Place was as advertised, spacious, airy, great kitchen, love the light well. We had a little issue at check in with the lock on the entry door and one of the garage doors was a but finicky. The property manager sent a locksmith the next day to fix it and was super responsive. We had a great time staying at the property.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this home during our vacation in Truckee! There was plenty of room for my family (five adults, two kids, and an infant), it was conveniently located, and it was very inviting and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. The host was helpful and had great communication. We would definitely love to stay here again.

This was the perfect pandemic getaway for our family who needed a socially distant reset from the stress of city life. The house was cozy, well stocked, and conveniently located - equidistant between the Tahoe Donner Rec Center (for those of us who like to swim) and the cross country ski area. The neighbourhood was quiet and there was plenty of space both indoors and out for our family of four to explore and relax. Our only suggestion is that the management company consider doing a more comprehensive clean between rental stays. There was garbage and recycling filled to the brim in the cans in the kitchen when we arrived which isn’t something we had anticipated. Also, the oven and microwave were in need of a deep and thorough cleaning. Still, all in all we had a lovely time.

Great family home

Everything exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were very cleaned. The floor plan was very comfortable. The space in the backyard was ideal to play in the snow. We did not have to go anywhere to enjoy playing in the snow. The owner was very responsive and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

We had a blast! The location is perfect and the house is cozy and well equipped with all the essential amenities. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.
