Perfectly cute studio, ideal for a single traveler or couple. The location right next to the bike trail was absolutely perfect. The hosts were quick to respond to a question and very gracious! Would stay again.

The property was perfect and so clean. The air conditioning was soooooo wonderful on this muggy 3 days. The bed is super comfortable and love the sheets and pillows. Perfect spot for spending a day on the lake. And close to Burlington for some night life ! Was a very romantic few days! The host was very respectful of our privacy , it being a shared space it did t interfere with our time at all!
Only feedback for improvement is the shower would tend to go luke warm or cold a few times through the time in the showers. Not a huge deal but some may find it bothersome

The listing never mentioned that the rental is attached to a house where the owners live. The listing made it look like it was perhaps a small cottage situated close enough to the water to actually see the water. The wifi network/password was incorrect in the listing confirmation. The hosts (who were extremely nice and responsive) gave us the correct info. In the end, the rental was fine, but we prefer to stay in detached cottages or homes when we travel with our beagle — who was startled and barked when the garage door opened and closed underneath us. What we liked was that the rental was very close to the bike path. We were there to ride the trails, so the location worked out well. We were only there 2 nights, but we ran out of paper towels and toilet paper. Some of the eating utensils had been put away dirty and there was a random bag of old potatoes in the fridge. The shower came out like a fine mist. Luckily I have short hair and my husband is bald so we survived the weak shower stream. Otherwise the apartment was cute and spacious. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We were just surprised by a few things.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, and the layout of the room was fun with the high ceiling and open bedroom area upstairs. The neighborhood is quiet and it is just a minute walk to the lake. There is a miles+ long hiking/biking trail on the other side of the road which goes across the lake or back into town in the other direction. The owners are very nice.

The apartment was clean and well done. Plenty of info about the area. Almost across the road to the bike trail in either the causeway direction or Burlington. Short walk to small private beach area. Everything was just right....

Cozy location convenient to Burlington
We loved our stay here! Very cozy even during a snowstorm (radiant floor heating?) and easy drive into Burlington. Highly recommend.

Clean, modern, with bonus lake access!
Great little place! Perfect for our needs AND allowed us to bring our large (lab) dog. Great communication and accommodation. A total five star place!

Beautiful
I went to VT for a long weekend to spend time with my daughter. The studio is beautiful! Clean and decorated beautifully. The hosts thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I was not familiar with the area but my daughter was. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for much outside activities. I would like to rent again when it’s a bit warmer than -4 to use the bike path. Thanks again! Lori

Beautiful spot, centrally located and great hosts. A great vacation spot for the holidays and any activities. Dogs allowed was a huge plus for us and the access to a private causeway was awesome as well

Weekend in Vermont
We had such a lovely weekend at Jonathan and Marianne’s studio! The apartment was so cozy and was a short walk to the bike trail, which was beautiful! It was a 15 minute drive to downtown Burlington. The lofted suite was such a cute spot and so well taken care of! We were able to bring our dog along for the weekend too, which made it extra special. Jonathan and Marianne were so helpful and quick to answer any questions we had!

Weekend away with a pup
Very comfortable and spacious studio in a pretty location just off the beach. Was great to have the walking trail nearby so we could walk the dog. Having the doggy waste bin out front was a thoughtful touch. Would stay again when we visit the Burlington area.

Great Place!
Jon and Marianne's place is charming. The studio is spacious, clean and well appointed. There are so many added touches and attention to detail that make it special. We were there for Champlain Family weekend, so did not have much extra time for the beach and bike path. Wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were lovely. We would stay here again.

Peaceful Getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean, comfortable and modern. We also loved the fact that it was directly across from the Island Line Trail and also had beach access to Lake Champlain. We highly recommend and look forward to coming back

Immaculate property on Lake Champlain!
This was the perfect rental for a relaxing weekend getaway with my husband and our pup. The hosts are super helpful and the property has everything you may need. Burlington is 15 minutes away and the private beach is a 2 minute walk. We walked the whole Causeway, which is gorgeous and so close to the property. We will definitely come back!

Clean
The property was very clean. This is an attached property to the main house with a separate entrance on the side of the garage. Owners are on site. There is a very sweet dog on site who greeted us , just as an FYI in case you are bringing a dog who might have trouble around other dogs. Check in process was easy. We only stayed one night due to the bad weather but we enjoyed the proximity to the bike trail. Thanks!

Jonathan and Marianne's place is a sweet, comfortable and sparkling clean studio loft close to anything you want to do in and around Burlington.
Communication, check-in and check-out could not have been easier and more professional.
We have a senior doggo whom we don't like to board anymore, so the fact that our hosts and the studio are dog-friendly is icing on the cake.
We were college-touring, but also packed in a lot of fun at Burlington restaurants (Butch & Babe's, The Farmhouse and August First) and breathtaking surrounding countryside (Shelburne Farms, South Hero Island).
We had a great stay!

Don't think, BOOK!
I, my boyfriend, and my dog truly enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful. The pictures do not do this place justice! Hosts were very responsive and friendly as well. If you're thinking about booking this place, do it! You will not be disappointed. Thanks Jon and Marianne for such a great stay!

Great getaway stay
We (and our two dogs) very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful area along the lake to walk and very convenient to Burlington. We would, and hope to, visit again.

Perfect for what we needed
Just a few nights for a Craft Beer tour of Burlington breweries and Hills Farmstead. We were able to bring our 10 year old English Bulldog and that was awesome. It was the perfect size and one of the cleanest I've stayed in yet. Lots of touches like natural doggie treats and loved all the artist prints. A great stay and I highly recommend.

We found our spot!
This was perhaps the most enjoyable rental experience I've ever had. Extremely clean, dog friendly, great style. Very quiet--could not hear the owners. Yet when we did engage with them, they were delightful! The fact that we had both the bike path and the lake a one minute walk away was beyond incredible. My son is a junior at UVM and this is definitely the place that we will stay from now on. I thought it would be too far away from Burlington, but it is a 15/18 minute, easy and lovely ride to both Burlington and Winooski so it is more than worth it. Superb!

Great spot!
John and Marianne's place was great! Spacious for a studio, and secluded for a unit attached to the owner's home. It's a short drive from Burlington, and the views from the neighborhood's private beach were amazing. Both John and Marianne we're attentive, quick to respond, and friendly when we ran into them in their yard. They had no issues with our dogs, and overall were great to rent from. Would recommend to anyone, and would definitely stay again.

The perfect weekend getaway spot
I could not have been happier with this rental. The hosts were very gracious, the unit is incredibly charming and the location cannot be beat. It’s nice to find a place that is so welcoming of dogs, and without a doubt Jonathan and Marianne were without a doubt. I will definitely return to stay again in the future.

Relaxing studio by the lake
If you're looking for a private and quiet stay near Burlington, this place can't be beat. It's really great for one or two people (ideally a couple) and Jon and Marianne are pet friendly. They were very easy to work with and were around on the property if we had any questions or needed anything. At the same time, they were never intrusive and let us enjoy our stay. The area is incredibly quiet and the bed was very nice. I had a great night's rest there! Do note that there isn't a full kitchen, so if you're planning on cooking a lot maybe bring an instant pot or something with you. There's a ton of great places to eat in Burlington, though, so it's quite easy to get into town.

RE: Perfect Down Time
I loved the simplicity and comfort of this studio. It was quiet, peaceful and the perfect location to both burlington and the bike trail. Marianne and Jonathan were both helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. We will most likely be coming back next year when the causeway reopens. The proximity of the lake was an added bonus. I highly recommend this unit as the perfect getaway! We also enjoyed Marianne's beautiful artwork. Thanks again from Karina, Steve and of course Bronx!

Cozy studio
Very happy with all aspects of the stay. The house is in a nice neighborhood outside of Burlington but convenient for us to visit UVM. Great place to stay!

Beautiful studio apartment close to the shore of Lake Champlain
We were up for Parent’s weekend at Champlain College. Staying close by but with some room to breathe was our goal. Jon and Marianne’s place was the perfect location. An immaculate and cozy studio.
They really thought of a bunch of little extras (that we didn’t take advantage of) but were great touches. Keurig and coffee, map to the beach, soap, shampoo and probably several others I’ve overlooked.
The only reason for a 4-star rating was that I personally couldn’t use the bed. Just way too soft. Luckily I had an air mattress with me and was able to set that up. But, I understand that some people really love a very soft mattress, so I can’t knock them for that.

Lovely Large studio
Everything about staying at this property was great. The architecture of the space was cool, modern, light and large. The beach was a short stroll out of the apartment & rail trail very close by for walking, running, or biking. Burlington is abt 15 min. drive. Loved our stay. We will be back! Thanks Jonathan & Marianne!!
