Spacious home with beautiful sunrises from the living room and porch. Very well equipped kitchen (& supermarket nearby) made cooking & entertaining easy. A bit far from downtown, but was happy to discover Silverbell Rd. as an alternative to Route 10. And really enjoyed proximity to saguaros, the Desert Museum, and numerous hikes. Friendly, but unobtrusive, hosts live next door should you need anything. Property is quiet despite proximity to Ina Rd. Pool area is lovely, but in February water was a bit too cold for a swim!

The home was very clean. The owner lived next door but there was plenty of privacy. She was available to answer questions or help but she was very respectful of our space and never made us feel uncomfortable. The only thing that could be a problem for guests is the master bedroom/bath. There isn’t a door between the two, so really no privacy and there is a sky light in the room which makes sleeping in a little more difficult. But over all, it was a very nice stay with a very nice host.

The home was very spacious, airy, fully equipped for meals, and personal comfort. We especially enjoyed the quiet, rural location away from traffic, city, etc. Each morning I'd enjoy waking up with my coffee on the back patio and watch the variety of birds gather at the bird feeders. It was a very peaceful stay - which is what we were seeking. Carella was very personable, helpful, and attentive to our needs while also giving us a sense of space. We highly recommend this casita

This home offers a true Tucson experience. Conveniently located on a dirt road that is a short distance to the freeway and city amenities. The sights and sounds of being in the country (dogs, cows, coyotes, etc. nearby). The desert wildlife is right up to your back sliding glass door with a well used bird feeder attracting road runners and quail. So many amenities provided for the home, including a pool within sight of the kitchen window. It is shared with the main house that is on the other side of the pool. The views and sunrises/sets were amazing. Happy to be easy on and off Ina road that's close to restaurants and shopping. The main bedroom had a very comfortable bed and tv in the room. The shower was spacious with good water pressure and temperature. I liked the natural light available from so many windows, but the blinds helped me get a good night's sleep. The seating was comfortable and plentiful. The games and WiFi provided were convenient. Great for families or individuals. The parking was limited. A full size truck did not fit into the garage. There would only be space for 2 or 3 vehicles to park at any time behind each other. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with and checked in on me during my stay, which I appreciated. I would recommend this place to stay.

We loved this house. Well maintained and designed. Absolutely adorable! The backyard is a desert oasis with birdfeeders and birdbath. We enjoyed watching the birds very much. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. We did not get to use the pool, but it looked clean. If I ever spend more time in Tucson, we will return here.

We enjoyed our visit to Tuscon. We loved bird watching in the backyard every morning. Various birds, quail and even hummingbirds. The house is so close to Saguaro national park, which was an excellent place to go hike for the day. The pictures don’t do this place justice, it really is beautiful, the views every morning were stunning!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay over Thanksgiving while visiting our son who attends UofA. Carella's home was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We so enjoyed bird watching and the home's surroundings. We even spent time by the pool, enjoyed a fire under the stars, and had many meals on the terrace. We will be back. Thank you!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hostess was lovely as well as the property. We loved relaxing on the patio and watching the different types of birds. It was located in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful cacti and other AZ plants. Yet it wasn’t far from shopping and where we needed to go to watch a synchronized swim competition, Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had such a wonderful time in this cute desert home! Ours was a last-minute booking and the host was so accommodating and communicative. There was even a nice note and a bottle of wine on the counter for us when we arrived! The house was very clean, bright, and comfortable. The back patio is very private and we really enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We'd love to come back again!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house has everything you need, including the use of the garage to keep your car out of the hot, Arizona summer sun. Not once did we think of anything that was missing. Clean, comfortable and tastfully decorated. The pool was so relaxing. Carella has all sorts of information at the house for things to do in the area and was kind enough to text me some additional ideas. As an outdoor photographer, I was thrilled to have a hummingbird feeder and multiple bird feeders in the yard. Carella had mentioned that in the hot summer, wildlife may not be as plentiful, but we had Javelina, coyotes, quail and all sorts of other birds stopping by - it was amazing. I can not think of any other family vacation we have taken when not a single person complained about something - this is truly perfect and I hope we will be back again!

Our stay in this home was absolutely comfortable, peaceful, and has all the great wildlife and mountain views that you can ask for. They had all the amenities to make you feel right at home. I would recommend this home to anyone that loves AZ views...This one has them! We would do it again. Working with Cruella was the best she was very helpful and responded to our questions promptly.

The view from the living room window was breathtaking. We loved watching the birds. The outdoor furniture had not been cleaned. It was still covered and not usable for our stay. It may have been because of the time of year we stayed (May). However, it did not deter us from enjoying our stay. The location was great-close to all necessities and many attractions.

Very nice property. Well furnished and stocked. Many hours of entertainment from watching birds and wildlife from the casita and grounds. Bring your camera and accessories. Close to the bike trails and National, City and County Parks. We would love to spend more time at a stay at this property in the future.

Lovely 3BR two minutes from national park trailheads and minutes from any conveniences. So well stocked. Surrounded by Sonoran desert floor beauty. Saw javelina, coyotes, road runners, giant desert rabbits all from the house! The host is the best too. Great 3 weeks.

The property surrounding the cassita is beautiful. There are various cacti and other flowering plants. Bird feeders brought nature to the back patio. There is an in-ground pool shared with the main house and a fire pit off the patio. Nice patio furniture and a well stocked home. The location is near Saguaro National park with access to lots of hiking; yet, easy access to I-10 allowing you to be downtown in 20 min. We would stay at this location again if our travels bring us to Tucson.

Nice and clean

We loved staying at this property in Tucson. The outdoor patio is shaded, has wrought iron dining tables with chairs (with cushions) and a large gas grill. The yard is spectacular. So many mature saguaro cacti and many, many diverse species of cacti and a huge lemon tree. The large backyard is fenced, has several bird feeders and birdbath, and has a firepit with firewood provided. We sat on the patio each day to eat breakfast and watch the birds. The house itself is wonderful. This hostess has thought of everything! The kitchen is so well stocked with appliances (microwave, toaster, rice cooker, crockpot, blender, etc), you will have everything you need to make meals easily. She provides a cabinet full of spices and condiments in the fridge. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. TV has Roku. The pool next door is lovely but we did not use the pool. We parked our car in the garage and the hostess provided a garage door opener. Tons of books on AZ flora, fauna and wildlife, plus 50+ local brochures to give you ideas of what to do while you visit Tucson. Only 20 minutes away from the west side visitor center of Saguaro National Park. We also visited the Tucson Botanical Gardens, Sonoran Desert Museum, Tubac artist community, Mini Time Machine Miniature Museum (not to be missed!), Sweetwater Wetlands Park, lots of unique places to shop. We tried to visit the art museum on the Uof A campus but could not find parking. Great vacation and a wonderful VRBO rental home.

A great location and easy access to the main highway. Tucson streets are local congested as an east/west highway doesn’t exist. The location of this property made for easy travel to most of the area highlights and very close to the saguaro park and downtown area.

Great location for us close to our family, restaurants and the loop bike riding trail! Carella was a perfect host answering all our questions and Providing anything we needed. We will be back!

This property was as advertised - great location, clean and had everything you’d possibly need for your stay. We brought ketchup and mustard with us … should have waited until we got to the property. There were condiments in the fridge and every spice you can think of ready to use. The king-sized bed was comfortable and having two bathrooms was a plus. The living areas were spacious and tastefully decorated. Ceiling fans are in nearly every room and were used on those days when the temps topped 100 degrees. Our favorite spot to sit and relax was on the back patio. Watching the birds, lizards, bunny, sunrise and sunsets were nice touches to our day. The host left a nice list of suggestions for places to eat. Our last night in Arizona, we went to Lil Abner’s and had the most delicious steak dinner. A little pricey, but well worth it. Would definitely stay again should our travels bring us back this way.

Surrounded by the beauty and privacy of the Sanoran desert, the guest house was the perfect getaway for our family. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, great barbecue and pool. The host quickly replied to our questions quickly with offering great suggestions.

The listing on VRBO is spot on! The house was a perfect size and location. Carella thought of everything to truly make the house feel like home. We will definitely consider staying here again for future visits.
