Das Zimmer war mini. Eigentlich nur ein Bett und ein seperates kleines Bad. Das Bad war zwar schon echt klein, hat jedoch mehr Fläche geboten, als das Zimmer selbst.

Das Bett war bequem & sauber . Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten was aber kein Problem war weil wir sehr zentral waren und viele Möglichkeiten hatten zum Frühstücken. Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich obwohl wir ohne booking.com kein Zimmer buchen konnten.
Wir mussten uns erst mal über das Internet einbuchen. Spontan.. direkt im Hotel einbuchen geht nicht.

Es gab kein Frühstück. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, innenstadtnah, aber der Service und vor allem die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließen sehr zu wünschen übrig.

Location
We booked a room 12 months in advance. 6 months prior to our stay they cancelled our booking and re advertised the room at a far, far higher price. We had no choice but to pay the extra cost as we had flights etc booked.

Location to then festplatz is great.
The courtyard was filthy, price gouging during fest is ridiculous. Don't depend on the check in times and expect to get chewed out either in Italian or Greek if you can't speak either language. The beds are rock hard, zero air conditioning or fans, and the clubs along the street have music and drunken idiots screaming until 3 AM.

Great location just off the main square. The room was a good size. Felt very safe as the door & gate were often locked.
No breakfast & the restaurant was closed. However we had plenty of options outside of the hotel so it wasn't really a problem.

The hotel has rooms above a very nice restaurant, close to the main shopping Square in Straubing. We had already eaten, so can't comment on the food, but the bar was still open when we arrived at bout 9:30pm and customers were there. Maybe ring ahead if you'll be late. There was parking outside that was free until 9am (iirc) which was ideal for us getting up and leaving in the morning. For a longer stay you might need to investigate options.
The room was very warm, but we could change the thermostat and open the window and it was pretty quiet outside, so no problem. We would have stayed again on our return journey, but they had no places available.

Hotel was well located, staff were super friendly and helpful, and checkin was easy. It was quiet and relatively comfotable.
There is a restaurant downstairs.
I asked for breakfast to be included and to be included on the invoice for my company, and I received a reply that my request would be accomodated at no extra cost, but when I arrived I was told there is no breakfast at the hotel.
The room was clean but not as clean as one would like. Hair in the bed for example. There were a few things in the room that were broken: The light in the bathroom didn't work, the sink was blocked and took forever to drain, the shower doors didn't close completely and left a gap, which let water through. The fan in the ceiling in the bathroom is reallly noisy. The bedroom lights are on a motion sensor, so whenever you are sitting still or in the shower the lights kept going off and you'd have to move again. Bed sheet is SUPER thin.
Parking costs 10 euros in a privat parking lot, or you have to find a street parking that isn't reserved for residents.

No one was there, when we arrived with the children, rang 2 numbers,no reply. Had to chose another hotel at the end at 11.30pm, wasn't pleased...

Friendly staff, very helpful, excellent center location. Very welcoming, we arrived very late and they waited for us and even prepared some food although restaurant was officially closed.

It’s well situated. Enjoyable restaurant on the ground floor.
The room was not well maintained. Dodgy electrical socket . The whole hotel area seemed under capitalised. Investment needed.

We booked single deluxe room. It was good and comfortable.
One of the staffs at the reception is too smart. He did not even finish our talk and kept saying I got it what you want! But then he made mistake giving us the key of wrong room. Also, there was a misunderstanding regarding the payment of rooms because he did not want to listen to us properly. Wifi connection was very poor. It was only working at the reception. After coming to the room connection was gone completely.

The hotel is located inside the Old town, just around the corner from the main square and right in front of the Gäubodenmuseum. The hotel manager was super nice and upgraded our room. The rooms are a bit old, but everything is very clean and comfortable. I also recommend to try the Greek restaurant downstairs.
