La Captain Hull's House è nascosta nella piccola e tranquilla Hulls Cove. A soli 2/10 di miglio dalla riva, a meno di 800 metri dall'Acadia National Park ea pochi minuti in auto dal centro di Bar Harbor. Se porti le biciclette, puoi andare da casa ad Acadia.
La casa è situata su 3/4 di un acro sostenuto da profumati boschi di pini e avvicinato da una corsia privata. Tranquillo e appartato con un prato per giocare e un grande avvolgente ponte perfetto per rilassarsi, cenare, guardare gabbiani in testa o il cervo e tacchini selvatici che sono visitatori frequenti
Una breve passeggiata ti porta a riva e il Chart Room Restaurant direttamente sull'acqua con un menu appetitoso che ha qualcosa per tutti. Attraversa la strada per "Hulls Cove General Stores", il nostro negozio di alimentari unico nel suo genere, dove c'è sempre caffè, muffin fatti in casa, o si ferma accanto a "Peperoni" per gelati, sottotitoli, pizza e insalate, oppure per prendere la navetta gratuita Island Explorer e andare in città, ad Acadia o in giro per l'isola.
Il capitano Hull's è una casa di famiglia ricca di ricordi, le pareti in legno intonacate dal tempo e le pareti in gesso massiccio hanno molte storie da raccontare e la nostra famiglia non vede l'ora di condividerle con voi.

The location is excellent, just minutes from Acadia NP. Our host was friendly and communicated well. I wanted to rate the home 5/5, but I had some concerns that the door leading to the cellar does not lock, and the outside crawl space/cellar door —though pinned shut with a screw or square nail—was not locked, which is a safety issue for me. The front door does not have a deadbolt, which concerned me. The side porch is a bit wobbly, too. Some of the window blinds need to be replaced. If these issues were addressed, the home would be 5/5. It is beautiful and historical, which I loved.

The house was exactly what our family needed. A beautiful vase of fresh flowers and a welcome note really made us feel welcome. It was super comfortable, kitchen and eating area was great and outstde porches were a great place for coffee in the morning. Entire property and house was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels provided were top notch. Also appreciated the amenities in the bathrooms (soap, body wash, Q tips facial wipes) Location is exactly where you want to be to go to Acadia . We traveled with my 20 month old granddaughter so being close to Acadia and the town center was key. This house and the host is family friendly and I would return and would also give more than 5 stars if I could!

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, making it so easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The home itself was spotless, spacious, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need. After long days of hiking and sightseeing, we loved gathering around the kitchen table to play games together—it truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
