We have stayed at the Caribbean numerous times over the past 10 years. Once again, we were definitely not disappointed. Condo 703 was styled and decorated beautifully as well as sparkling clean. Bender Realty has always been and continues to be our “go to” for our vacation rentals. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Bender Realty and the Caribbean to anyone.

We had stayed in the Caribbean several years ago. The property has aged and not been maintained. On our first full day the elevator was out for about 6 hours and our condo was on the 7th floor. Not a relaxing day. The next day, we needed an extra parking pass and they made me pay $23 for an extra vehicle to park at Bender parking lot. Seems like they could have comped the parking due to the elevator issue. We will look for different options next year.

This was our third time to book with Bender Realty. The check in was easy and fast. The only complaint is the Master bedroom bed was awful. It is very hard and not comfortable at all. One of the advantages of staying at The Carribean condo is how close you are to the ocean. Once you walk off the boardwalk, you are 10 steps to the ocean.

The process to book with Bender Realty was so easy. The lady I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. It was so nice being able to book a condo that would allow me to bring my little dog. The condo was nice and had a great view. The king size bed was very uncomfortable, so much that one night I slept on the couch and one night my husband slept on the couch. The couch was comfortable but sounded like it was about to break when you would sit on it. Even knowing the situation with the furniture I would stay there again.

Unit 703 is nice though I DO NOT care for the bathroom faucets-they are weird and they splash water back on you. Otherwise, nicely furnished (except wife felt the kitchen was not well stocked with cookware). A well decorated unit. Like all condos the cleaning crew doesn't mop the floors. We did, and although the tile wasn't visibly dirty, the mop water was literally black. We could not enjoy the balcony due to chain smokers in Unit 602 balcony (Vacasa rental) (Which IS a NO SMOKING UNIT) down and to the left that made our balcony smell like a bar the whole time. Literally every 10 minutes they fired up a cancer stick. It's amazing that they say only 20% of adults smoke nowadays but I ALWAYS get one of them next to me when I stay in a beach condo. This may be the last condo that I stay in. May try a house next time.

Excellent experience from start to finish. We did have a balcony door that would not open and the hot water needed to be adjusted to be hotter. Bender Realty sent someone out immediately and took care of both issues without any loss of our vacation time. We were even informed ahead of time of the detours to take to the property because of the shrimp festival. Wow!!

We had a great time. Only two complaints. The floor was extremely dirty. If you walked on it barefoot, your feet were black. Also, we could not utilize our beach canopy on the beach in front of the condo. Had to walk a good ways down the beach past the public access boardwalk and then wasn't allowed to put it anywhere except the very back of the beach. The kitchen was small but well stocked. Bedroom has a king size bed. Great view with balcony.

It was really nice. We needed a room for a few days and Caribbean was booked I just happened to see that this room had availability for the days we needed but you can only book 7 day minimum online. I called and they were able to reserve it for us. The location and view were great. We have 3 boys and it was great for what we needed. Plenty of room for what little we stay in the room. One shower was tough for 5 of us but it wasn't bad. Kitchen could use some more basic stuff like measuring cups but other than that it was great. Fridge was nice, A/C was fantastic and the room stayed cool all day. Only complaint we had was the master bed mattress needs updating. its hard as a rock and you can feel the springs. We didnt really use the indoor pool or little gym but we did take advantage of the outdoor pool and the easy access to the beach.

It wasn't "bad", but could definitely be better. We were looking for a 1 bedroom and decided to take a chance on it even after reading the reviews. The floors need to be either professionally steam cleaned (at a minimum), but really should be replaced. Housekeeping is majorly lacking in all areas! I could tell everything was "wiped down" but in a rental situation you have to SCRUB the kitchen, bathrooms and floors between rentals! I've learned to bring my own cleaning supplies down here but I shouldn't have to clean a condo when I'm paying a cleaning fee...

To start with we walked in and the freezer didn't work and we had to call to have it fixed. The tub wouldn't drain properly while taking a shower. The air conditioner didnt cut on and off the way it should. This unit needs to be taken care of alittle better than it has been.

We found out from other tenants that we could have rented the room for a month and only pay a small amount more for what we were charged for six nights. Did not get the condo I originally booked, we were moved to one with a broken A/C. Had a/c guys in & out for hours 1st night we were there. Had a/c guys there for 6 hours our 1st full day there. Pots & pans are awful, loudest dish washer I have ever heard, broken cabinet doors, the worst cooking utensils, dirty floors, noisy ceiling fan, pitiful knives, vegetable peeler & wine opener weren't even usable, the list goes on... I was reimbursed $200.00 but that hardly made up for the disappointment that my sister, our granddaughters & I shared. Wasted my money at this place.

Vacation was nice. Caribbean needs some renovating and updating. We had rusty wrought iron outdoor furniture with no cushions to place in them....snagged clothing. Bender Realty staff was found inside our condo stating he was replacing a filter in the dryer which we did not use or call about. No staff was seen on site until last day of our stay. A trash shute would be nice, especially for elderly and handicapped. In 703.... the atmosphere lacked comfort and pride in their condo....

The location of Caribbean Condo is excellent. It would have been better if a Bender had provided us with a packet of maps, restaurants, TV info, etc. we had to go by on our first day to request this info. Also, better organization or communication between Bender and cleaning/maintenance would have been good. We had no hangers in our condo; cleaning crew should have reported that. Maintenance man came afternoon of our last day to replace worn out dryer vent; this should have been done after we checked out the following day. We left our dogs at home, but two condos on our floor had barking dogs as guests. It would have been good to know ahead of time that some spaces are dog friendly, BIG dog friendly. 703 was clean but in need of updating. Staff at Bender is wonderful, gracious, and helpful. The final blow happened our last evening when our key code no longer worked. Fortunately we were not both locked out at the same time. Also, key seldom worked to unlock public women's bathroom on ground floor.

room was not very clean. pool was dirty. was told it had been treated with chemicals at 2am. we were up at that time no one cleaned the pool except us then next day they came out at 4 am to clean pool. a dog lunged at us as we were trying to enter elevator and i had to run down 7 flights of stairs and hurt my knee. would not stay here again. one would think at the price of cleaning fee one wouldn't have to clean the room upon checking into room. the tvs cable wouldn't work half the time. was given bogus answers when we voiced our concern to the bender office. will not stay with bender managed condos again.

Bender is awesome to book any stay through. Professional, courteous, and accomodating. Our stay at one of their many condo rentals was an awesome getaway from home. We have rented from them several times in the past six years and have had a pleasant, relaxing vacation. This particular condo could use some deep cleaning, all in all it's a very nice location - Quick to the beach, quick to go to dinner,(dancing optional), and a quick trip to the ever so famous, Wal-Mart! Thanks Bender, we'll see ya'll next summer....maybe October!

We loved the property , although you had to have a key , to get in to the indoor pool , which was ice cold , the exercise gym , sauna, and the steam room was not working , it smelled really musty ! The tiles in our unit had not been mopped , our feet were black as soot when walking barefoot! The dryer vent came out onto our clothes and got lint all over them , the king size bed was hard as a rock ! Other than that it was very nice ! Stayed 4 days then headed back to Tuscaloosa

Super nice pet friendly unit! We’ve stayed here with and without our pets. Unit is very nice! King sized bed, updated kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable during our stay! Very conveniently located to shops, restaurants and BenderRealty office. We’ve never stayed this time of the year ( just before Thanksgiving) and it was very enjoyable. Have already started planning our next trip! We’ve stayed in 2 units at Caribbean and in both units we found it difficult to open balcony door. Nothing that would keep us from staying here though.

We've stayed at this location before (different condo) and like it's proximity to restaurants and activities while still seeming like it's "off the beaten path". This particular condo, while clean, was not the most comfortable we've stayed in. The bed felt like a straw mattress and the sofa/chairs were also uncomfortable. We did enjoy the table and chairs on the balcony. The condo is small, but perfect for two people. This is our second time to rent from Bender Realty and they make it easy!
