Casa dos Avós for 8 people
Questa casa, rappresentante dell'architettura locale della fine degli anni '40, è stata restaurata nel 2012, salvaguardando le sue caratteristiche originali, era destinata a casa colonica, con cantina, patio e altri annessi. Ha una terrazza con serbatoio dell'acqua, dove è possibile fare il bagno, doccia e ampio giardino con irrigazione automatica.
La casa ha tre camere da letto e un soggiorno, un soggiorno con tavolo per 8 persone, cucina attrezzata e due bagni, uno con vasca e l'altro con doccia. Ha anche un ampio patio e una grande cantina.
Il posto è molto tranquillo, ma non isolato, e con una splendida vista sulla catena montuosa di Lousã con i suoi villaggi di scisto e numerosi sentieri pedonali.
La piscina del fiume Serpins si trova a due chilometri di distanza e Casal de Ermio è a cinque minuti di auto. Inoltre, è anche possibile raggiungere il villaggio di Lousã in soli 10 minuti in auto e raggiungere i villaggi di scisto nelle montagne di Lousã a soli 15 minuti in auto. Lousã è un villaggio storico dove si possono fare magnifiche passeggiate.
La casa ha lenzuola, asciugamani e lettino per bambini. Ha anche TV con canali internazionali, internet e lavatrice.

This was the first VRBO that we wished that we could stay there forever. The setting was beautiful, and the owner's family home was immaculate. Our gracious host even presented us with cake from the local bakery which was almost identical to his grandmother's recipe and wine. Detailed local information was given. Perfect location to explore this beautiful part of the country, from the windmills of Penacova to the little schist villages. Thank you for sharing your family's manor home with us, Luis. Hope to visit again.

Our family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) LOVED this beautiful property. Everything was very clean and as described but the pictures don't do it justice. Beautifully renovated and close to Coimbra and Lousa Castle. The weather was less than perfect during our stay but the house made up for it. Our kids loved the outdoor space. Gated parking on site. The host was very easy to communicate with and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this property!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Dos Avos. Wonderful country setting, close to Lousa. Coimbra is about a 45 minute drive by car. Luis was a great host who greeted us on arrival. He gave us local restaurant recommendations ( and even made our reservation for us) as well as sites to visit nearby. Recommend O Burgo restaurant was delicious with a great view of the castle.
We highly recommended this property.

Casa dos Avós is a charming old house in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay there and were comfortable. The one major draw back is the fact that one of the bathrooms is not located in the main house, but is down a flight of stairs.
