Canaan Valley, veramente il parco giochi di metà Atlantide, è situato nelle panoramiche colline del West Virginia, e vanta sci di livello mondiale, racchette da neve, trekking, mountain bike, equitazione, caccia e pesca, rafting, kayak, canoa e golf. Con facile accesso a National Forest Lands, Wildlife Refuge, Wilderness areas e due State Parks, esplora le infinite possibilità qui. La tua famiglia apprezzerà le nostre pittoresche località di montagna e fare shopping o curiosare nei nostri numerosi negozi di antiquariato, regali e specialità o godere di alcune fiere e festival.
La contea di Tucker ha 4 stagioni mozzafiato da godere. In inverno, prendiamo gran parte delle nostre 150 nevicate annuali dai Grandi Laghi ogni volta che forti venti da nord-ovest abbandonano il Canada. La primavera porta alcuni dei migliori caccia e pesca e fiori selvatici. Fuggi dal caldo dell'estate, dove le temperature raramente superano la metà degli anni '80. L'autunno porta temperature fresche e colori brillanti delle nostre vaste foreste di latifoglie.

Overall it was a good visit. The house is very convenient to both ski resorts and is easily accessed. The driveway is a bit steep and may pose a problem under snowy/icy conditions if you don’t have 4-wheel drive or chains. Lots of windows and a nice back deck.
The property is older and could use some maintenance, but nothing that affects your stay. I would’ve like a better selection of cookware, some of the lights didn’t work (probably just bulbs) and it has a lived in feel which is not a bad thing unless you like super clean. Some of the washer functions didn’t work, but this may have been user error. We’d stay there again.

This is a wonderful property! It’s big and clean, and the TV has been updated since we last stayed so it is modern and has streaming services. The check in process is cumbersome in that you drive to the rental office to pick up keys instead of going straight to the property. Our main issue is that the rental office sent an email with a rental agreement but it didn’t come from Vrbo so we didn’t see it and they never reached out via the app to let us know they sent it. I asked for the check in process via the app and they told me (after 4pm) that they needed the digitally signed agreement by 5pm or they couldn’t leave keys for us at the rental office. We had already been on the road on the way to the property so I am very glad I reached out to them. It would’ve been helpful if they had sent a message through VRBO to let us know about the agreement coming from their email address. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time during a week spent at Wintercadence in the summer of 2022. The house is fully appointed with new appliances and entertainment options, and is spacious, quiet and comfortable. The location is near many outdoor activities and parks and we look forward to returning.

No lights were left on and we arrived after dark. Entrance to the door covered in ice and leaf's. Mice droppings in bottom cabinets. Coffee pot had not been cleaned and was stopped up with old coffee grinds.
