Hotel Palma

The hotel lobby was very nice. We were welcomed with complimentary coffee or a champagne cocktail. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast the next morning exceeded expectations. A lovely woman made sure we had grande tea pots and everything we could want. I would stay again!

We stayed there for a week and I must admit that the service and staff were superb, nothing less. Despite a little language barrier, they did everything in their power to help us. And it wasn't easy. Because this trip for unknown reason was adventurous, slightly put: booking a rental car with far too little notice, finding a police station (yes, Naples presented us all the colours it has - cathedrals, tunnels and criminal scene), 'Where can we buy the best limoncello in town?' ... and the list goes on and on (Italy did whatever it could to keep us on our toes). They tackled every single issue with a smile and did their ultimate best to help us. Grazie mille! Hotel itself was nice and homey (just the way we like it), despite being next to one of the busiest roads in Castellamare. All the street noise and other mayhem stayed outside. We did have some hiccups in our room (small issues with air conditioning, few bulbs burned out and so forth) - all were sorted promptly. These tiny mishaps were well balanced by very comfortable beds and beddings, we sleeped really well. Truly recommend the hotel.
