This unique location offers a well-designed and relaxing place to stay overnight.
Not many restaurants and grocery stores around.

The villa is located in a quiet residential area, right next to the picturesque canal used by fishermen. Parking is available a short walk away. Shortly after our arrival, a staff came by to check in and explain everything to us. The villa is cozy and comfortable.

Nostalgic feel of rural Japan. People were relaxed and friendly. Our unit has sliding doors in front of the river. The weather was perfect so we sat with the doors open. My husband read while I did some art while the sound of the river water soothed us.
PS. Look for Sushi Kuinee, Takaoka Minami Store The Best!!!! And not too expensive. It has conveyor belts.
The bathroom is downstairs. No place to hang our clothes except upstairs. Our clothes were all over the floor making it hard to bend to find things. So I used 2 of the 4 dining chairs as shelves near the bathroom door.
