La parte anteriore di Heron Cove è ingannevole: sembra una casa molto carina in un quartiere residenziale vicino a Devils Lake. Ma è davvero un lussuoso palazzo a un solo piano, situato su un magnifico braccio del lago, con un enorme cortile recintato che si apre su un pendio vibrante di cinguettii, erbe erbacee e lilypads. Una veranda in casa ti mette in una comoda poltrona con una vista completa dell'acqua, così potrai goderti il branco di rondini, il trillo dei merli e la vista dei cervi che pascolano nel pantano. La casa è arredata con gusto, con pavimenti in legno, mobili di lusso, arredamento accogliente, una sala da pranzo che può ospitare dieci e una splendida cucina personalizzata con contatori di granito. Le camere dispongono di biancheria di lusso e i bagni sono squisitamente piastrellati. Una camera familiare con camino a gas e grande TV a schermo piatto / DVD confina con la cucina, mentre un soggiorno e la veranda offrono spazi in più per una conversazione tranquilla. All'esterno un enorme ponte a più livelli, tavolo da pranzo, mobili da giardino, barbecue e una piccola passerella sul pendio intratterranno adulti e bambini. A pochi passi da Sand Point Park per il nuoto in famiglia! Se vieni sulla costa a pescare nella baia di Siletz, a pescare sul fiume Siletz oa fare il giro in barca sul lago Devils, porta la tua barca, Heron Cove ha un parcheggio fuori strada per la tua barca e il tuo veicolo! Questa posizione è a soli dieci minuti di auto dalla spiaggia, dai ristoranti, dal golf e dal casinò Chinook Winds. Dopo una giornata trascorsa esplorando la costa, il tuo rifugio privato ti aspetta per il tuo ritorno!

Nicely updated home in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and has a great backyard that looks out at a large green space before the lake starts. Enjoyed eating out on the big deck and making s'mores around the fire pit. When we made the reservation under amenities it listed that it had a hot tub but it does not. We would stay there again in the future.

Hard to leave such a relaxing home. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the quiet surroundings with a lot of wildlife around us. As a Disney Vacation Club member, my hotel stays are gauged against the Disney Standard and this home surpassed expectations! We would definitely stay here again.

This house was beautifully decorated and had multiple seating areas both inside and outside to either hang with friends or have a quiet moment alone. The kitchen was well-stocked and spacious. I would highly recommend this rental. So peaceful and serene!

The home was beautiful and had enough space for all of us. The outside fireplace area wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet and topically clean. Overall really loved the house. Unfortunately, we called ahead to have the house checked for mold since one of our quest, the main reason we were staying, has a severe allergy to mold.
We know the coast can have issues with mold which is why always we reach out before booking. They couldn't guarantee there was no mold since they don't check on the properties but their house keeping does. It was frustrating when we got there and there was in fact, black mold in almost all the windows.
We went to Oregon to spread ashes of a loved one and couldn't all be together because of this. We were only here for two nights and didn't want to waste a day of house keeping coming to clean it, so we did our best. The property management will most likely need to do actual mold remediation to correct the problem. I would recommend this place to others who don't have an allergy or are sensitive to mold.

Loved our stay here, lots of space, places to rest and talk with family. Good location to head either direction to ocean beaches, casino and shopping or just walk to the lake down the street. Especially loved the sun room with lots of light, furniture and views.

Nice change of scenery watching the daily habits of the water fowl and taking walks around the loop. Calm atmosphere, my teenage artist loved sitting on the little dock and sketching while we soaked up a little bit of sun by the fire pit.

It was so beautiful and sweet and peaceful; all the details. The views, the cleanliness, the outdoor area in the back yard, all the nooks to relax, the master bathroom !

We love Heron Cove. The patio area is so private and love that it backs up to such a large green space and enjoy viewing Devil's Lake in the distance. The kitchen is very well stocked. The kids loved that it is so close to the lake and swimming area.
Any questions we had were anwered right away and we didn't have very many.
The only negative is that the queen bed in the 2nd bedroom is VERY uncomfortable and we hope the mattress can be upgraded because we would love to come again.

The master bedroom mattress and box springs are abnormally
high from the floor and dangerous. I am 5' 6" tall and had difficulty getting onto the bed. When I tried to get off the bed I fell and hit my head on a metal night stand. I was not asleep, only resting around 5:30 pm in full daylight so it could have been much worse had it been dark in the room.
Immediately a large lump or hematoma formed on the side of my head. My room mates helped me off the floor and put ice on the lump. The next morning my primary care physicians nurse texted a list of warning signs for a brain bleed and recommended a CAT scan. The emergency room CAT scan
showed no signs of a brain bleed or clot. I had a huge black eye and swelling in the tissue below. The nurse said it was normal as the blood from the hematoma was following gravity and draining downward into the tissue around my eye and would eventually be absorbed.
After the accident I stood next to the bed and the top of the mattress was just beneath the top of my hip bone about 34"
from the floor. According to google 25" from the floor is
the normal mattress height.
I reported this incident to Meredith Lodging, property management for this rental so the owners can correct this unsafe condition.

We all loved the house it was a beautifully decorated. The only thing we could say negative is the couches are needing replaced. The Hide a bed hide a bed was the most needed to be replaced. The master bedroom was wonderful. The other beds were so so. I really hate to say anything bad because over all it was very nice.

Family Beach Trip
Really lovely property with a beautiful lake view. Felt very private even though we could hear some traffic on the nearby road. We enjoyed watching the lake wildlife (mostly ducks) and even noticed a couple of deer visiting the lake. Check in/out was very easy. The house had everything we needed. Beach and town were a short drive away. We would book again.

The best choice I have ever picked. windy and nasty at the beach but beautiful weather at the house. Spent a lot of time on the deck, watching the deer and other wildlife. Our grown kids and grandkids spent a lot of time at sand point park swimming. Parking is limited but close to the house. They walked it a few times. All in all, we all had a great time. I would rent the house again, it has so much character.

Family Get-Away
We loved the house, especially the deck. The backyard felt very private. There were so many different places to relax inside and outside. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We found everything we needed. Heron Cove was a wonderful get away for our family, very comfortable. We would definitely rent this house again and recommend it to friends.

The house was spacious and clean. We were unfortunately there at the hottest weekend of the year, so it was too hot to enjoy the nice deck space and fire pit. The house was quite warm when we returned from long days of being out with family, but it cooled down fairly quickly with windows and doors open and there were ceiling fans in a couple places. Location was nice on the lake but East Devil's Lake Road can be loud with cars when our windows were open at night. One small inconvenience is that we couldn't find garbage bags or tissues.

This quant little house may not be on the beach or right on the lake, but it's outside of town enough to feel like you're in the woods and way from all the hustle and bustle of town. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the house for 11 days/10 nights. The house was spotless, very spacious, and just wonderful! It is 5 minutes drive to the ocean and lots of shops and 5 minutes walk to a small lake beach. We had an unforgettable vacation!!! Thank you!!!
