Una scelta di 3 tranquilli appartamenti di villa con tutti i comfort in questa parte esclusiva di Malta. Tranquillo e tranquillo ma a pochi minuti dal centro di intrattenimento di Paceville e il più popolare St. Julians Bay con i suoi numerosi ristoranti e ottimi bar. Proprietà gode anche l'uso di una grande piscina (41 mq), lettini, sedie a sdraio, amaca per una coppia, altalena amaca 3 posti, panca a dondolo, ombrelloni di grandi dimensioni, posti a sedere gazebo per 8, area barbecue con il proprio frigorifero e cucina , doccia e servizi igienici dalla zona piscina. Il sistema di riscaldamento solare dedicato per la piscina consente l'uso della piscina da aprile a ottobre. L'accesso alla piscina è tramite un ponte di legno sul grande stagno di pesci koy a cascata. Un ulteriore gazebo con vite è adiacente ad un più piccolo stagno di tartarughe d'acqua. Ambiente molto romantico in questa zona collinare con ampie vedute di Malta, dove il giardino tropicale e le acque a cascata dagli stagni di pesce continuano ad aggiungere alla serenità che l'intero luogo sembra creare.
I nostri animali domestici: Il nostro giardino, anche se piccolo, è molto maturo ed estremamente ben tenuto, fornendo un'atmosfera tranquilla, aiutata anche dal suono delle acque in cascata sullo sfondo. I nostri animali domestici (gatti e cani), oltre al pesce koy e alle tartarughe già menzionate, hanno anche le loro tane separate e sono ben tenuti, coccolati e curati.

This was a Lovely villa, that is well looked after. With many interesting details and characteristic. There is a fish and turtle pond that is a nice touch. The pool area is an absolute treat. Bring along a few DVD/CD (Blue ray optional), go for a swim, then watch movies on the projector after a long day.
Our host Paul and Josanne went above and beyond to make our holiday go that bit smoothly. They are wonderful people, on a beautiful country. Thank you very much for making this holiday that bit extra special.

This was a Lovely villa, that is well looked after. With many interesting details and characteristic. There is a fish and turtle pond that is a nice touch. The pool area is an absolute treat. The apartment was convenient and well-equipped, the hosts are friendly, very communicative and helpful in any respect. The garden’s been the greatest surprise for us – a real Paradise garden with countless details. As it was January we couldn’t take full advantage of the swimming pool, but even then the water looked fresh and encouraging. The house is situated in a nice safe place where you can start also walking trips. We liked doing it late at nights. If we travel to Malta again we’ll certainly visit our nice hosts.

Wonderful property with lovely owners
The whole property is very pleasant and we enjoyed sunbathing and chilling around the swimming pool and the BBQ.
Paul and Josanne are great hosts, they took care of us in such a nice way.
The house is a bit far from Paceville and Sant Julian, but accessible by bus.

Une propriété située sur les hauteurs de Malte dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Les extérieurs sont enchanteurs et agencés avec bon goût. Le pourtour de la piscine est magnifique de jour comme de nuit. Quel plaisir de s'y baigner ou bien d'y déjeuner ou diner. Le lieu de vie et de couchage est fonctionnel mais manque de lumière naturelle par manque d'ouverture. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, gentils et serviables. Endroit à recommander en famille.

We were booked in for two weeks this month - October 2015. Prior to booking Paul was superbly helpful and as a result we really had very high expectations of the accommodation. We were really quite horrified at what we found. The apartment is in fact in the basement with one tiny window. The inside was very musty, one of our party, an asthmatic, felt her chest tightening due to the presence of mould spores in the air, the living area was cramped with poor quality seating and the cooker was rusty. That was the bit that most offended me. Why insult visitors with a cooker that has been badly painted to hide the rust? The top of it was also dirty with bits of food stuck on it which I was picking off with my nails. The flat entrance is below the level of the fish and turtle ponds. The smell that came down into the doorway - the only way in or out - was just horrid. Paul was thoroughly decent and offered us an Immediate and full refund which we accepted and also allowed us to use his internet at no cost to find alternative accommodation. We cannot fault Paul in how he dealt with us but a bit of me is quite angry that we almost flew home on the day we arrived because of the poor and unacceptable standard of accommodation.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Colours villa, Madliena, late September / early October 2014, when we got married at the nearby Torre Paulina. In total there were 11 of us sharing, 4 couples and 3 individuals.
It was nothing short of superb! The apartments provided us with all that we needed. The pool, gardens, jacuzzi and other outdoor facilities were exquisite, especially with us having exclusive use. Being able to crawl out of bed and jump into our own pool was sheer luxury! The weather was glorious.
The villa is situated in a complex with other villas and is secluded, with no outside interference. You’ll need a hire car or taxis to get about, though, as the villa is located at the top of a big hill!
We cannot thank the hosts, Paul and Josanne, enough! Their local knowledge, assistance and willingness to go the extra mile proved invaluable and made our stay both relaxing and very memorable; they even put out the red carpet when we got back from our wedding!
Their family dog, Hank, also kept us amused.
We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa.

Brilliant!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at these fabulous apartments. Paul and Josanne are just the best! From the moment we booked our stay, communication was brilliant - all questions answered with a very friendly manner. As I already knew they island, I was particularly interested in staying in Madliena as it is wonderfully peaceful and away from the real hustle and bustle. Nathaniel (Paul and Josanne's son) picked us up at the airport (exactly where I was told he would be - amazing!) and drove us to the apartment, happily taking a small detour so I could show my daughter my old flat! As it was evening, he also took us to the supermarket so we could stock up on essentials.
When we arrived at the apartments, we were blown away by how pretty the garden area is - all lit up at night it has a fairytale feel to it. My daughter (who is 7) was completely overawed and desperate to get into the pool (which has an illuminated 'cave' - their own Blue Grotto!). The apartment was bigger than expected. Paul had put on the fire ready for us so it was all cosy. Having two bathrooms was definitely useful, especially as my daughter was in and out of the pool every day (in November!)
Paul and Josanne were so helpful. We rented a car - not just because the apartment is up a hill (and I am lazy!) but because the best bits of the island are off the beaten track. Josanne put me in touch with a rental company who were also really accommodating, even letting me change drop off times and places at the last minute. Fab car as well!
When the weather turned slightly cold, Paul and Josanne brought us duvets just in case. So kind!
Rosie, my daughter, says: "This is the best place I have EVER stayed. The pool was great and I went swimming all the time. Hank, the dog, is brilliant. He is really friendly and likes towels! I thought he might bark but he didn't. The turtles are cool too. I liked my bedroom because the bed was really comfy and I really liked the kitchen because I could watch TV after I had been swimming and mum made scrambled eggs. I want to go back again next year and every year!"
I would definitely recommend staying at these apartments (we stayed in Yellow). However, if you are after an easy walk to bars, restaurants etc then you may wish to look elsewhere (but ask Paul, he can help you!).
Paul and Josanne are kind, accommodating, so friendly and amusing and definitely concerned that their guests are happy. They certainly helped make our holiday wonderful!

That was our first holiday in Malta, but I hope not last :) Arrived late and tired in Malta airport. Josanne (villa owner) send me instructions how to get to villa. We still manage to get lost, so she send her son to meet us. That was helpful. Villa is in a quiet area and car is essential to get to places. Nearest food shop 15 min away doh. Facilities exactly what expected. We rented yellow apartments, enough space for four adults and my 8 year old son. Two showers came very handy too. Swimming pool was bit too cold for me, but my friends had a dip on a sunny days. Garden absolutely great, a shame never had barbecue - not enough time. Oh well maybe next time :) Every time of our stay Josanne was very helpful, but not too much in your face..:) Villa is great for family or group of friends. Good for value. For couples I would look for something more luxury..

The appartment I feel is expensive for the quality and kettle was broke but no one checked to see if everything was ok - but we managed to boil with a pan of water....
Owners were very helpful in arranging lifts and being flexible with our arrival date although did not appreciate being told to hurry up and 'get straight to the appartment' when we wanted to stop for lunch on the way on the first day of our holiday
I would reccommend staying here in a group in nice weather to enjoy the garden area and pool but having visted Malta many times now would not stay in this area again. It felt very private which here and possible you will have an enjoyable stay here - thank you to Josanne for your help with our booking etc.....

The best thing is access to a lovely heated quiet pool and relaxing poolside area.
The nearest shops are about 15 minwalk(as are bus stops). A car is the best option to get around (arrnaged by owners if required with on site pick up and drop off)-driving is no where near as bad as the guide books suggest-but we found the Sat Nav on our phones invaluable as the signs aren't that clear.
Swimming with dolphins in the marine park is a real treat. We also enjoyed a Captain Morgan round island cruise with swimming at the Blue Lagoon in Comino (arranged by owners)
We also enjoyed a trip to the Traxien Temples and Hypogeum, although the latter needs advance booking on line.
All in all, I would recommend this location , even for a short break, if you want great weather, good food, clean and comfortable accommodation, and the chance to relax but also enjoy some local history and attractions

Paul and Josanne were the perfect hosts. There to provide help and advice when needed - nothing was too much trouble.
The apartment was clean and well provided.
We felt completely at home.
You will need a car to be able to sight see and shop.

Malta Apartment # 402723
This property proved perfect for our needs as it was clean, comfortable and fully self-contained with all bedding and cooking utensils supplied. Enjoyed the swimming pool and on-sight BBQ immensely.
We also loved the friendly dog and cat, and the resident fish and turtles were added attractions.
We were well looked after by Paul & Josanne who were only too happy to help with any enquiry. We would have no hesitation in selecting this holiday destination in future or recommending it to our friends.

Home away from home.
Malta is a beautiful country, mostly because of its people, and Paul and Josanne are no exception.
The property is clean and tidy and very quiet. It is like staying at someones home, which makes it very refreshing. There are family pets/ animals around that are just lovely. St Julians is walking distance, but far enough away to be quiet. A car is recommended for exploring the island, or even for shopping etc.
Its close enough to St Julians that eating out is possible, but kitchen and BBQ facilities gives guests the option for a relaxing night in.
During our stay there was construction next door, which is annoying at 7am, but obviously not the owners fault, and not an ongoing problem.
We would recommend this property without question.

Wonderful holiday and great hosts
We holidayed at the sky blue apartment for one week and wished we had booked for longer...The apartment is fully equpped and Paul and Josanne put exta beds in to accomodate our two children, we had a welcome pack on arrival with gifts for both our girls left for them on their beds which was thoughful. Paul and Josanne are 1st class hosts who will help with anything(Paul is very handy when breaking into your suitcase when you've lost the key !) and who my young daughter wants to know why they can't make it to England for her upcoming birthday party....so what more can I say. My children loved the pets around the property and helping to feed them, especially Toby the dog who is really a big softie that I would have taken home with me if I could. The garden area and pool are fantastic and overall the holiday was 100% better than a faceless package tour and we are so glad we booked here. We will definately be back .

Familienurlaub
Wir haben sehr schöne Tage bei Paul und Josanne verbracht und können die Ferienwohnungen nur empfehlen. Vorallem mit Kind ist die Anlage mit Pool, Tieren und Grill einfach perfekt.
Sollten wir nochmal nach Malta kommen, werden wir aber direkt ein Auto mieten, da die Lage am Berg zu Fuss mit Kind und Einkäufen nicht optimal ist. Dafür hat man seine Ruhe vom üblichen Tourismus.
Zu empfehlen ist es von Deutschland aus ein paar Grundnahrungsmittel, bzw. Gewürze mitzubringen wie Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, Waschmittel oder Spülmittel etc, da die Lebensmittel dort sehr teuer sind und man nach einer Woche viele Reste hat.
Der Willkommenskorb von Josanne mit Brot, Butter, Kaffee, Wurst, Käse und Milch hat uns das Ankommen sehr angenehm gemacht, so dass wir nicht direkt einkaufen mussten.
Wir danken für die tolle Woche und hoffen, wieder einmal nach Malta zu kommen!

Highly recommended
We had an excellent experience staying at this property and would definitely recommend it to other travelers. Paul and Josanne (the owners) are lovely people who were very welcoming and attentive; and became good friends over the holiday who we were sad to say goodbye to when we left. The garden is beautiful and we spent several of our days in Malta relaxing here, cooking barbeques and swimming in the pool.
There are a number of pets living here including dogs, cats, turtles, and carp, which we enjoyed having around us, especially one particular cat named Fitu (meaning: Pest). This would be an ideal place for families with children as well as couples like us.
The location was ideal for us also, It is only a 5 minute drive to St Julians and about 15 minutes to Valetta. The majority of the cities and good swimming beaches are in the north of the island, and so are all easily accessible from this location.
We would love to come back to Malta again someday and would definitely want to stay here.

proprietaires tres aimables , sont venus nous chercher aeroport malgre heure tardive ' minuit _ tres a l'ecoute des clients . une fois que l'on sait ou c'est , cette location est tres proche de la valette et de toutes les destinations de malte pour circuiter , il y a un petit supermlarché pas loin , nous avons loué une voiture sur place et le loueur est venu la recuperer a l'aeroport le jour du départ , parfait !!!
l'appartement orange est petit mais tres propre , il convient bien a une famille avec 1 ou 2 enfants .
Et puis c'est agréble de sze délasser en regardant nager les carpes koi dans le bassin ...

Not all it seems.
We have nothing but praise for the reception and help we received from Josanne and later Paul. They could not have been better hosts. We were disappointed that the apartment(s) are located basically in the basement of the building and as such do not have any real outlook.It also meant that the apartment was quite dark. This was not mentioned in the description of the accomodation. Another disappointment was the very close location of the pen for the two large dogs. This was no more than 4 metres from the apartment door.The dogs, especially the large Rottweiller, barked at everything and nothing and at all times of the day and evening. Because of this we were obliged on several occasions to take breakfast inside as opposed to outside in the morning sun.Unfortunately the dogs on occasion smelled and were allowed to roam in the garden area leaving urine and poo to aviod. The apartment was as described and very comfortable but from a woman's point of view the bedding was of a poor standard. The kitchen, for a month of self catering, was not as fully equipped as we would have liked.However we enjoyed our first visit to Malta and have already booked up to come again, but I'm afraid not at the Sky Blue apartment.

We came to Malta and we were a bit late because we got a bit lost but we got a very warm welcome from Josanne and although our appartment was not quitte ready we didn't mind because she was very friendly and she welcomed us with a food basket and she put some stuff in the fridge for us wich was very nice. The garden and the swimming pool were excellent. There are more than enough sunbeds, chairs and more. It's also nice for children because they have a lot of pets. Our children liked very much the fish, turttles and cats. Paul and Josanne are very warm and friendly hosts. You can always ask for information and they will provided. The weather was perfect, warm but with wind so it was not too hot. We had a lovely time in Malta. It was very relaxed.

The perfect place for exploring Malta
Finding affordable, yet comfortable accommodation in Malta is not easy, but once you come across this property you know, that THIS IS IT. Descriptions and reviews promise a lot and you may wonder where the 'catch' is. Well, there isn't one. We are a widely-traveled family and have been at many places around the world, but this place beats them all in terms of value-for-money, location, hospitality and overall atmosphere. We stayed for nearly two months (mid October to early December) and even found the weather just fabulous! If you are flexible consider April/May/June and Sept/Oct/Nov as the best time for visiting Malta. The property itself provides all the facilities and comfort you would expect from descriptions and reviews. Just to mention a few features we found particularly appealing. The welcoming, friendly and warm attitude of your hosts, Josanne and Paul, cannot be rated high enough. They are just wonderful people and the three apartments with the courtyard are a reflection of their personality: comfortable, generously furbished, always kept tidy and with many extras (from a welcoming 'food-basket' to pool, BBQ with own kitchen, lovely pets and sea views). We couldn't have been happier. Thank you, Josanne and Paul, until next time.
